“If I could give the best dog sitter award to Mia, I would! She is a blessing and I am so happy I found her. My pup loves to come to her house and gets super excited every time we pull up in her driveway. She is the sweetest and most attentive person to all the dogs that she takes care of. I never have to worry about my pup getting attention, play time, having fun while I am at work or out of town- I know he is in great hands.”
“MaryBeth is so kind and gentle with my pup. My dog had surgery and I needed someone to watch him while I worked. MaryBeth kept me updated with photos and texts on how my little guy was doing. He was so relaxed in their home!”

“Ana was great! She was very responsive and accommodating with scheduling. I so appreciated all the photos and updates she provided throughout the day, it was easy to tell my pup was having a wonderful time!”

“Adrienne, Jarrod, and their sweet boy Remy were wonderful hosts for our Ruthie. They kept her busy with walks and indulged her frisbee habit. It was so nice that they kept me posted on all her adventures. Ruthie can't wait to see them all again soon”

About: Hi my name is Madison and I am extremely passionate with animals, especially dogs and cats. I grew up around rescue dogs as pets and then pursued more experience in animal welfare organizations during college and after. Organizations such as Brother Wolf Animal Rescue in Asheville, NC and Lake Norman Humane in Cornelius. I am a current active volunteer with the City of Charlotte Animal Care and Control. Through these hours each week I am exposed to dogs and cats from all different backgrounds. My schedule is extremely flexible whether it be for walks or longer care in the morning, afternoon, and evenings. Currently I am looking for full-time work due to budget cuts at my job of 7 years. My typical day looks like job applications and volunteering for at least a few hours at the city animal shelter. Even when I am not there I love helping with dog profiles and other ways to advocate for them. Care depends on the dog and/or cat parent’s preferences since I know each dog and cat are unique. Especially in their home they are used to a specific routine and I want to do my best to uphold their “normal” to help keep them and their parent(s) at ease while away. My home situation is an apartment but there is a courtyard close for easy bathroom breaks and then great walking routes. If they prefer outdoor playtime there are parks nearby as well, or other options the parent feels comfortable with. I can also fit a crate in my apartment if that is preferred by the parent and/or dog. While I do have cats in my apartment, I can keep them separated from a visiting dog. They are used to dogs because sometimes I bring home shelter dogs as a “daycation” break away from the loud shelter. Therefore I am well-versed in making sure everyone stays safe. If taking care of a cat in their home the same principles apply to make sure they feel as comfortable in their usual routine as possible. I understand that cats are especially sensitive to change.
“Luna went to Beverly for a day care and she was great. She sent me an update how was Luna doing. It was easy and quick to communicate with her. We had a good experience. I recommend Beverly for the take case of your fur babies.”

“Had a wonderful experience with Azia. She was prompt with my drop off and pick up times and flexible to my schedule. She sent lots of pictures which I loved! Bella seemed to warm up very quickly to her and made herself right at home. We will definitely be coming back :)”

“Cody is a good sitter. My 🐕 has high anxiety but met Cody ahead of time and on the day of the appointment he went to him with no issues. Cody shared pics of their walk and it was a great day. Thanks Cody!”

“Eric and Ana are simply amazing. They went out of their way to make our puppy feel loved and treated him as if he were their own. They were both extremely patient, providing us with daily feedback, and keeping us in the know while we were out of town. They went over and above to ensure our puppy was safe and happy. Could not recommend them more!”

“This was my first time using Rover and have a 12 week old puppy and Allyson made the experience great! She watched her all day and was very flexible on pick up/drop off times, she sent me pictures of my pup all day and my puppy came back tired and happy from playing all day. Would definitely use her again!”

About: Dog lover with 10+ years of hands on experience caring for my own pup. I recently joined Rover but not new to responsible, attentive pet care for small and medium-sized dogs. I offer drop ins, house sitting, and boarding with close supervision, thoughtful updates, and genuine affection. Pet First Aid and CPR certified. Pet care is something I intentionally build into my schedule, not fit in between other commitments. I keep a flexible routine and limit bookings so each dog receives focused attention and consistent care. Whether it’s boarding, house sitting, or drop-ins, I prioritize being present, punctual, and aligned with your dog’s normal routine. Safety and trust are my top priorities. I host only one dog at a time to provide focused, individualized care. My home includes a gated balcony with direct outdoor access, plus a secure fenced dog park in my building. I’m happy to follow your preference for leash walks, park time, or both. I work fully from home, so pets are supervised throughout the day and never left unattended outside. Dogs are welcome to free roam unless you prefer otherwise. For drop-ins, visits are at least 30 minutes and can include feeding, potty breaks, medication, and anything else your pet needs. I’m Pet First Aid and CPR certified through the American Red Cross and very experienced administering oral, topical, and injectable medications. You’ll receive thoughtful updates and photos each visit, tailored to your comfort level.

About: Hi, I’m Yoli. I have over 20 years of experience caring for dogs and treat every pup as if they were my own. I understand that each dog has a unique personality, routine, and comfort level, and I thoughtfully adapt my care to meet their individual needs. I recently lost my dog of 13 years, and caring for her through every stage of life deepened my understanding of patience, consistency, and the unconditional love dogs deserve. I work from home, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, attention, and companionship throughout the day. Because I do not have other pets at home, your dog will receive my full focus in a calm, structured, and loving apartment environment. Whether your pup enjoys active walks, relaxing strolls, structured routines, or quiet companionship, I make sure they feel secure and comfortable while you are away. I am also comfortable caring for senior dogs and administering basic medications if needed. Safety, reliability, and clear communication are very important to me. I follow your dog’s routine closely and provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident and connected during their stay. I look forward to meeting you and welcoming your furry family member into a peaceful, caring home.
“Christine and Andrew have been the best with taking care of Wilma weekly. They are sure to keep us updated and send pictures - they also make sure she gets plenty of toys :) Wilma looks forward to her time with them each week and it has been so seamless working with the both of them. I highly recommend working with them on pet sitting needs - they rock!”

About: I grew up surrounded by dachshunds, so caring for dogs has always been second nature to me. While dachshunds hold a special place in my heart, I truly love all breeds and personalities. I’m patient, attentive, and experienced with both energetic puppies and older dogs who may need extra care and comfort. What sets me apart is the way I focus on making every pet feel safe, loved, and at home, whether we’re going for a walk, playing, or simply cuddling😍 Pet care is just part of my everyday life since it’s such a priority for me. I’m usually free most weekdays and weekends, and of course I also make time for Tink. I take her to Skiptown a few times a week since she can be a stubborn little walker. I love going on the rail trail, and having a furry buddy to join me always makes it even better! I create a calm and relaxed environment with dog TV, provide plenty of love, treats, and give extra comfort to dogs missing their pawrent while they’re away.
About: Ive grown up with animals all my life and absolutely adore them. They truly are the most loving and selfless beings. I have a senior pup myself and she’s my furry potato child. She’s my everything, I’d do anything for her. I’d love to pamper and spoil your furry child as well💙 I work full time from home Monday through Friday. I am free after 4pm on Friday and also free all weekend long. Working from home allows me a lot of flexibility throughout the week. I live in an apartment and a neighborhood that’s extremely dog friendly. My senior dog Hannah gets to sleep on the couch or bed all day and has all the potty breaks she desires with endless cuddles.

first time leaving my puppy with someone and it was a great experience! i really appreciated all the updates, pictures, and videos, it made me feel more comfortable with being away! my puppy looks like he had a great time. super grateful and would definitely book again!

Nia was absolutely amazing with our pup over Valentine’s Day weekend! She was so kind, patient, and gentle with our anxious baby, which meant the world to us. She kept me updated throughout the day with messages and check-ins, so I always felt reassured that he was safe and comfortable. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she watches, and that level of attention and love is hard to find. We felt completely at ease leaving him in her hands. We will definitely be booking with Nia again soon — highly recommend her!

Anna was absolutely amazing with watching my 4 month old puppy! She was patient, attentive, and clearly knows how to care for young dogs. She sent updates, followed instructions perfectly, and treated my puppy like her own. I will 100% book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!

Caitlyn was absolutely amazing and took such a great care of Brody on my big day!!! She sent me pictures so I wouldn’t worry and kept us updated. Brody can be nervous and sensitive but he ran right to Caitlyn when he met her, asked for pets and watching him being so calm and comfortable made me feel at ease. Would 1000% recommend highly!

Tatiana was absolutely amazing! We needed a last-minute sitter because we were driving to Charlotte for a tasting, and our usual sitter wasn’t available. I scrambled to find someone, and very luckily found Tatiana. She was very accommodating and got us in with almost no notice. From start to finish, her communication was great. She has a wonderful yard space, and our dogs immediately clicked with her dog, which gave me so much peace of mind. Her dog is such a sweet gentle girl. She sent tons of photos throughout the stay, and I could tell our dogs were relaxed, happy, and having a great time. There honestly weren’t any issues at all. I’d definitely recommend Tatiana to anyone looking for a sitter not just because her yard is perfect for dogs, but because she’s so sweet, responsive, and truly cares. We’ll absolutely book with her again if we travel to Charlotte in the future.
