About: I grew up surrounded by dachshunds, so caring for dogs has always been second nature to me. While dachshunds hold a special place in my heart, I truly love all breeds and personalities. I’m patient, attentive, and experienced with both energetic puppies and older dogs who may need extra care and comfort. What sets me apart is the way I focus on making every pet feel safe, loved, and at home, whether we’re going for a walk, playing, or simply cuddling😍 Pet care is just part of my everyday life since it’s such a priority for me. I’m usually free most weekdays and weekends, and of course I also make time for Tink. I take her to Skiptown a few times a week since she can be a stubborn little walker. I love going on the rail trail, and having a furry buddy to join me always makes it even better! I create a calm and relaxed environment with dog TV, provide plenty of love, treats, and give extra comfort to dogs missing their pawrent while they’re away.

About: Dog lover with 10+ years of hands on experience caring for my own pup. I’m new to Rover but not new to responsible, attentive pet care for small and medium-sized dogs. I offer drop ins, house sitting, and boarding with close supervision, thoughtful updates, and genuine affection. Pet First Aid and CPR certified. Pet care is something I intentionally build into my schedule, not fit in between other commitments. I keep a flexible routine and limit bookings so each dog receives focused attention and consistent care. Whether it’s boarding, house sitting, or drop-ins, I prioritize being present, punctual, and aligned with your dog’s normal routine. Safety and trust are my top priorities. I host only one dog at a time to provide focused, individualized care. My home includes a gated balcony with direct outdoor access, plus a secure fenced dog park in my building. I’m happy to follow your preference for leash walks, park time, or both. I work fully from home, so pets are supervised throughout the day and never left unattended outside. Dogs are welcome to free roam unless you prefer otherwise. For drop-ins, visits are at least 30 minutes and can include feeding, potty breaks, medication, and anything else your pet needs. I’m Pet First Aid and CPR certified through the American Red Cross and very experienced administering oral, topical, and injectable medications. You’ll receive thoughtful updates and photos each visit, tailored to your comfort level.

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up around dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and horses, and I still have pets of my own (though they’re living with my family right now). I’ve always loved being the go-to person for friends and neighbors when they need someone to look after their pets, and I have a special soft spot for big dogs. I live in South End, Charlotte, and since I work remotely, I have the flexibility to spend lots of quality time with your furry family member. I’ll care for them like they’re my own and make sure you get plenty of updates (and cute photos) along the way! I do currently have a full time job, but since I work remotely, I have a vast degree of flexibility when it comes to my availability. I live in a gated access apartment complex with lots of nearby green spaces (including the light rail) in addition to a dog park on our 7th floor.

About: Hi my name is Madison and I am extremely passionate with animals, especially dogs and cats. I grew up around rescue dogs as pets and then pursued more experience in animal welfare organizations during college and after. Organizations such as Brother Wolf Animal Rescue in Asheville, NC and Lake Norman Humane in Cornelius. I am a current active volunteer with the City of Charlotte Animal Care and Control. Through these hours each week I am exposed to dogs and cats from all different backgrounds. My schedule is extremely flexible whether it be for walks or longer care in the morning, afternoon, and evenings. Currently I am looking for full-time work due to budget cuts at my job of 7 years. My typical day looks like job applications and volunteering for at least a few hours at the city animal shelter. Even when I am not there I love helping with dog profiles and other ways to advocate for them. Care depends on the dog and/or cat parent’s preferences since I know each dog and cat are unique. Especially in their home they are used to a specific routine and I want to do my best to uphold their “normal” to help keep them and their parent(s) at ease while away. My home situation is an apartment but there is a courtyard close for easy bathroom breaks and then great walking routes. If they prefer outdoor playtime there are parks nearby as well, or other options the parent feels comfortable with. I can also fit a crate in my apartment if that is preferred by the parent and/or dog. While I do have cats in my apartment, I can keep them separated from a visiting dog. They are used to dogs because sometimes I bring home shelter dogs as a “daycation” break away from the loud shelter. Therefore I am well-versed in making sure everyone stays safe. If taking care of a cat in their home the same principles apply to make sure they feel as comfortable in their usual routine as possible. I understand that cats are especially sensitive to change.

As for the walks and play area, I live next door to a nice large fenced in dog walking area which is perfect for throwing the ball or frisbee and having fun. Also I believe walks are the perfect opportunity to encourage learning and training activities.
