“Adrienne, Jarrod, and their sweet boy Remy were wonderful hosts for our Ruthie. They kept her busy with walks and indulged her frisbee habit. It was so nice that they kept me posted on all her adventures. Ruthie can't wait to see them all again soon”

“Ana was great! She was very responsive and accommodating with scheduling. I so appreciated all the photos and updates she provided throughout the day, it was easy to tell my pup was having a wonderful time!”

“Mia provides the BEST care imaginable --- so loving, friendly and welcoming. Since this was his second visit/stay, my Boone walked right in, wagging his tail knowing he was going to have a great time. The photos she sent during that time really showed that, too. I'm so happy to have Mia as a friend for him and all our kids.”
“Had a wonderful experience with Azia. She was prompt with my drop off and pick up times and flexible to my schedule. She sent lots of pictures which I loved! Bella seemed to warm up very quickly to her and made herself right at home. We will definitely be coming back :)”

“This was my first time using Rover and have a 12 week old puppy and Allyson made the experience great! She watched her all day and was very flexible on pick up/drop off times, she sent me pictures of my pup all day and my puppy came back tired and happy from playing all day. Would definitely use her again!”

About: I grew up surrounded by dachshunds, so caring for dogs has always been second nature to me. While dachshunds hold a special place in my heart, I truly love all breeds and personalities. I’m patient, attentive, and experienced with both energetic puppies and older dogs who may need extra care and comfort. What sets me apart is the way I focus on making every pet feel safe, loved, and at home, whether we’re going for a walk, playing, or simply cuddling😍 Pet care is just part of my everyday life since it’s such a priority for me. I’m usually free most weekdays and weekends, and of course I also make time for Tink. I take her to Skiptown a few times a week since she can be a stubborn little walker. I love going on the rail trail, and having a furry buddy to join me always makes it even better! I create a calm and relaxed environment with dog TV, provide plenty of love, treats, and give extra comfort to dogs missing their pawrent while they’re away.
About: Dog lover with 10+ years of hands on experience caring for my own pup. I’m new to Rover but not new to responsible, attentive pet care for small and medium-sized dogs. I offer drop ins, house sitting, and boarding with close supervision, thoughtful updates, and genuine affection. Pet First Aid and CPR certified. Pet care is something I intentionally build into my schedule, not fit in between other commitments. I keep a flexible routine and limit bookings so each dog receives focused attention and consistent care. Whether it’s boarding, house sitting, or drop-ins, I prioritize being present, punctual, and aligned with your dog’s normal routine. Safety and trust are my top priorities. I host only one dog at a time to provide focused, individualized care. My home includes a gated balcony with direct outdoor access, plus a secure fenced dog park in my building. I’m happy to follow your preference for leash walks, park time, or both. I work fully from home, so pets are supervised throughout the day and never left unattended outside. Dogs are welcome to free roam unless you prefer otherwise. For drop-ins, visits are at least 30 minutes and can include feeding, potty breaks, medication, and anything else your pet needs. I’m Pet First Aid and CPR certified through the American Red Cross and very experienced administering oral, topical, and injectable medications. You’ll receive thoughtful updates and photos each visit, tailored to your comfort level.
About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up around dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and horses, and I still have pets of my own (though they’re living with my family right now). I’ve always loved being the go-to person for friends and neighbors when they need someone to look after their pets, and I have a special soft spot for big dogs. I live in South End, Charlotte, and since I work remotely, I have the flexibility to spend lots of quality time with your furry family member. I’ll care for them like they’re my own and make sure you get plenty of updates (and cute photos) along the way! I do currently have a full time job, but since I work remotely, I have a vast degree of flexibility when it comes to my availability. I live in a gated access apartment complex with lots of nearby green spaces (including the light rail) in addition to a dog park on our 7th floor.
“MaryBeth is so kind and gentle with my pup. My dog had surgery and I needed someone to watch him while I worked. MaryBeth kept me updated with photos and texts on how my little guy was doing. He was so relaxed in their home!”

“Eric and Ana are simply amazing. They went out of their way to make our puppy feel loved and treated him as if he were their own. They were both extremely patient, providing us with daily feedback, and keeping us in the know while we were out of town. They went over and above to ensure our puppy was safe and happy. Could not recommend them more!”

“Nia was absolutely amazing with our pup over Valentine’s Day weekend! She was so kind, patient, and gentle with our anxious baby, which meant the world to us. She kept me updated throughout the day with messages and check-ins, so I always felt reassured that he was safe and comfortable. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she watches, and that level of attention and love is hard to find. We felt completely at ease leaving him in her hands. We will definitely be booking with Nia again soon — highly recommend her!”

“Mathias is amazing - made it so easy for me and Louie (my 7 month old pug). He clearly loves Bodhi and all the other fur babies that are in his care. Also, really easy to communicate with and he sent me a ton of pictures throughout the day. I will book him again!”

“Jemar was amazing with Levi! We needed an emergency sitter for our mini doodle and Jemar came to the rescue. He took her for walks, gave her lots of attention, and made sure she felt safe and happy the whole time. Highly recommend!”

About: Hi my name is Madison and I am extremely passionate with animals, especially dogs and cats. I grew up around rescue dogs as pets and then pursued more experience in animal welfare organizations during college and after. Organizations such as Brother Wolf Animal Rescue in Asheville, NC and Lake Norman Humane in Cornelius. I am a current active volunteer with the City of Charlotte Animal Care and Control. Through these hours each week I am exposed to dogs and cats from all different backgrounds. My schedule is extremely flexible whether it be for walks or longer care in the morning, afternoon, and evenings. Currently I am looking for full-time work due to budget cuts at my job of 7 years. My typical day looks like job applications and volunteering for at least a few hours at the city animal shelter. Even when I am not there I love helping with dog profiles and other ways to advocate for them. Care depends on the dog and/or cat parent’s preferences since I know each dog and cat are unique. Especially in their home they are used to a specific routine and I want to do my best to uphold their “normal” to help keep them and their parent(s) at ease while away. My home situation is an apartment but there is a courtyard close for easy bathroom breaks and then great walking routes. If they prefer outdoor playtime there are parks nearby as well, or other options the parent feels comfortable with. I can also fit a crate in my apartment if that is preferred by the parent and/or dog. While I do have cats in my apartment, I can keep them separated from a visiting dog. They are used to dogs because sometimes I bring home shelter dogs as a “daycation” break away from the loud shelter. Therefore I am well-versed in making sure everyone stays safe. If taking care of a cat in their home the same principles apply to make sure they feel as comfortable in their usual routine as possible. I understand that cats are especially sensitive to change.
About: What sets me apart as a dog sitting and dog walking expert is my deep commitment to providing a tailored and enriching experience for every furry friend in my care. My extensive training in animal behavior and pet first aid ensures that I can confidently handle any situation that may arise. I have a proven track record of successfully managing dogs of various breeds and temperaments, making me adaptable and capable of meeting the unique needs of each dog. What truly distinguishes me is my passion for fostering positive behaviors and connections. With a background in positive reinforcement training, I can work with your dog to reinforce good behaviors and address any challenges they might face during our time together. Additionally, my dedication to maintaining their routine and providing mental stimulation ensures they feel comfortable and content while you're away. Ultimately, my goal is to create a safe, fun, and engaging environment that gives your dog the exercise, companionship, and care they need. With a blend of expertise, personalized attention, and a genuine love for animals, I'm confident that your furry companion will have an exceptional experience under my care. Ideally I'm looking for a few Paw Pals to walk or sit on regular basis and keeping their routine would bebof top importance. My schedule is open. First I like to ask the parents how is the dog care for at home so I can try to emulate that at my home. As for the walks and play area, I live next door to a nice large fenced in dog walking area which is perfect for throwing the ball or frisbee and having fun. Also I believe walks are the perfect opportunity to encourage learning and training activities.

Nia was absolutely amazing with our pup over Valentine’s Day weekend! We will definitely be booking with Nia again soon — highly recommend her!

Anna was absolutely amazing with watching my 4 month old puppy! She was patient, attentive, and clearly knows how to care for young dogs. She sent updates, followed instructions perfectly, and treated my puppy like her own. I will 100% book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!

Tatiana was absolutely amazing! We needed a last-minute sitter because we were driving to Charlotte for a tasting, and our usual sitter wasn’t available. I scrambled to find someone, and very luckily found Tatiana. She was very accommodating and got us in with almost no notice. From start to finish, her communication was great. She has a wonderful yard space, and our dogs immediately clicked with her dog, which gave me so much peace of mind. Her dog is such a sweet gentle girl. She sent tons of photos throughout the stay, and I could tell our dogs were relaxed, happy, and having a great time. There honestly weren’t any issues at all. I’d definitely recommend Tatiana to anyone looking for a sitter not just because her yard is perfect for dogs, but because she’s so sweet, responsive, and truly cares. We’ll absolutely book with her again if we travel to Charlotte in the future.

Ariana was great! We felt so at ease leaving our pup with her for the day. She took such great care of him and we loved that her dog was so friendly and able to play with him all day. He was definitely tired out for our car ride home. I’d highly recommend Ariana and will book her again if we come back into town!

I’m so happy I found her! My first Rover experience before this wasn’t great, so I took my time reading through all the reviews, and I’m so glad I went with Hayden. She had amazing reviews for a reason. She sent me multiple photos, and I could tell right away from my dog’s expression that he was super relaxed and comfortable. She was also really flexible with timing when I needed to adjust my pickup schedule. So thankful for everything. Truly the best experience!
