My family has been a part of a Golden Retriever rescue foundation for years so we've always had goldens running around. I've been pet sitting since I was a kid, including but not limited to dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, turtles, lizards, and plants. I've had virtually no problems with the pets that I've been with other than the occasional scratch during play time. I've always been the first to want to take care of an animal when any one of my friends or family gives me the opportunity. I hope that we can connect and I can meet you and your pets soon! My schedule is very flexible when it comes to petsitting. I work short days in the office so your pet will never be alone too long! I don't have too many plans outside of work and if I do, I'll make sure that the pet comes first! I will follow your instructions to a T. As long as your place is set up for success then there won't be a problem with your pet, your home, or anything else! You set the rules and I'll make sure your pet is happy with them :)

About: I grew up surrounded by dachshunds, so caring for dogs has always been second nature to me. While dachshunds hold a special place in my heart, I truly love all breeds and personalities. I’m patient, attentive, and experienced with both energetic puppies and older dogs who may need extra care and comfort. What sets me apart is the way I focus on making every pet feel safe, loved, and at home, whether we’re going for a walk, playing, or simply cuddling😍 Pet care is just part of my everyday life since it’s such a priority for me. I’m usually free most weekdays and weekends, and of course I also make time for Tink. I take her to Skiptown a few times a week since she can be a stubborn little walker. I love going on the rail trail, and having a furry buddy to join me always makes it even better! I create a calm and relaxed environment with dog TV, provide plenty of love, treats, and give extra comfort to dogs missing their pawrent while they’re away.

Emily was incredible for our first visit with my senior pup! He kind of is a tricky guy with a lot of moving pieces health wise and she was amazingly adaptable and so sweet each step of the way. I feel like we kept changing plans based on his needs and her flexibly meant the world to us while I was out of state helping a sick family member. She kept me updated each step of the way and even took our pup on a walk with his stroller to get some mental stimulation when he really needed it. So so so grateful for her help and definitely recommend her!
Grace went above and beyond in caring for our (sometimes spicy) senior kitty, Hope. She came twice a day, was totally on top of everything, and kindly helped clean up when our cats stomach was getting upset (happens when we’re away). She also really understood how to work with our testy girl, to give her space, and let her come to you. We’re very grateful to have found such kind sitter nearby!
