About: I grew up surrounded by dachshunds, so caring for dogs has always been second nature to me. While dachshunds hold a special place in my heart, I truly love all breeds and personalities. I’m patient, attentive, and experienced with both energetic puppies and older dogs who may need extra care and comfort. What sets me apart is the way I focus on making every pet feel safe, loved, and at home, whether we’re going for a walk, playing, or simply cuddling😍 Pet care is just part of my everyday life since it’s such a priority for me. I’m usually free most weekdays and weekends, and of course I also make time for Tink. I take her to Skiptown a few times a week since she can be a stubborn little walker. I love going on the rail trail, and having a furry buddy to join me always makes it even better! I create a calm and relaxed environment with dog TV, provide plenty of love, treats, and give extra comfort to dogs missing their pawrent while they’re away.

I have a lab mix named Dallas who loves walks so a typical day is always 2 walks morning and evening and maybe a 3rd if it is cool out during lunch. I already plan my day around walking, feeding, and playtime schedule for Dallas so you can be assured your pet will feel right at home and be well taken care of. I have a fenced in yard as well as multiple fenced in dog parks as a part of my home community so your pet will have constant safe outdoor access throughout the day. I have experience with both crated and non-crated dogs and will happily work with you to make sure your dogs normal routines and training are minimally disrupted.

In addition to caring for my own pets, I have pet sat for friends and helped care for their dogs while they were away. Pet care fits well into my daily routine. I work fully remote, which gives me flexibility throughout the day to take dogs on walks, provide drop in visits, and give them the attention they need. I also enjoy going on walks and runs as part of my own routine, so staying active with dogs is something I genuinely enjoy. “Tawanda is by far one of the best sitters we could have left our pup with. Conveniently right outside of the city, Tawanda’s home could have easily been Nemo’s second home. With a backyard big enough to fulfill his doggy needs, Tawanda’s space would be great for any pup that likes to run around and have a good ol time with the company of her sweet dog Sampson. Tawanda was great on keeping us updated on Nemo’s status and even sending us pictures and videos during his visit. I would highly recommend this sitter and will definitely will be using her in the future.”
