About: I grew up surrounded by dachshunds, so caring for dogs has always been second nature to me. While dachshunds hold a special place in my heart, I truly love all breeds and personalities. I’m patient, attentive, and experienced with both energetic puppies and older dogs who may need extra care and comfort. I’m usually free most weekdays and weekends, and of course I also make time for Tink. I take her to Skiptown a few times a week since she can be a stubborn little walker. This allows pets to safely enjoy fresh air and movement without risk. I’m careful to pet-proof spaces, keep doors and gates secure, and follow household rules and routines closely. In a client’s home, I respect the space as if it were my own and follow all care instructions exactly, including feeding schedules, medications, and any safety preferences. I work from home 100% of the week so I am always with your pet when they stay with me. I have a lab mix named Dallas who loves walks so a typical day is always 2 walks morning and evening and maybe a 3rd if it is cool out during lunch. I already plan my day around walking, feeding, and playtime schedule for Dallas so you can be assured your pet will feel right at home and be well taken care of. I have a fenced in yard as well as multiple fenced in dog parks as a part of my home community so your pet will have constant safe outdoor access throughout the day. I have experience with both crated and non-crated dogs and will happily work with you to make sure your dogs normal routines and training are minimally disrupted.

As a full time remote student, I spend most of my day at home studying, baking and playing video games, which allows me to provide consistent attention and care for pets throughout the day. My flexible schedule makes it easy to incorporate regular potty breaks, playtime, feeding, and walks into my routine. I’m home the majority of the time, so pets aren’t left alone for long periods and can get plenty of supervision, companionship, and engagement. My apartment community includes a fully fenced dog park perfect for quiet, one on one playtime in the mornings or socializing with other dogs in the afternoons. For dogs that need more exercise, I’m located right along the rail trail in Southend, making it easy to provide longer, scenic walks as part of their daily routine.
