About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 12 years old. I started with my family dog and then moved on to caring for family members and friends pets when needed. In college, my roommates and I fostered a puppy my senior year so I have experience with dogs of all ages. My family rescued older dogs so I am also comfortable with medication administration. My sisters dog who I take care of often is afraid of other dogs, so I am very comfortable with dogs who prefer to not interact with other animals. I have less experience with cats, only with spending time with my friends pets, but love all animals and would love to spend time with your pet! My family also helps with pet care when needed, so pets have plenty of attention and supervision throughout their stay. Safety and comfort are really important in our home. When caring for pets from multiple families, dogs can be separated as needed so everyone has their own safe space to relax and decompress. Dogs are fed separately in their own crates or designated spaces to prevent food-related conflicts, and crates can also be used for rest or whenever an owner requests it. I try to make each pet’s stay feel as familiar and comfortable as possible, so owners are encouraged to bring their pet’s favorite bed, blanket, stuffed toy, or “lovey” from home. I follow each pet’s normal feeding, potty, medication, and sleeping routine as closely as possible. Pets are supervised during interactions, and I pay attention to their individual personalities and comfort levels rather than expecting every dog to immediately become best friends. My goal is to give each pet plenty of attention while also making sure they have a comfortable, secure place to retreat and relax when they need it.

I can accommodate regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, meals, medication schedules, drop-in visits, and overnight stays. Because I am home most of the day, pets receive companionship and supervision rather than being left alone for long periods. I care for every pet according to their normal routine, personality, energy level, and comfort needs and special needs. My home offers a large backyard for supervised playtime, exercise, and fresh air. There is also a covered gazebo with a grassy area where dogs can relax, cool down, or take a quiet break when needed. There are also two cameras outside as well so I can always have eyes on them no matter what! I am currently transforming my garage into a fun indoor dog jungle gym, although that space is still under construction. For now, pets can enjoy the backyard, comfortable indoor areas, regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of affection. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I carefully follow all feeding, medication, walking, household, and safety instructions. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 12 years old. I started with my family dog and then moved on to caring for family members and friends pets when needed. In college, my roommates and I fostered a puppy my senior year so I have experience with dogs of all ages. My family rescued older dogs so I am also comfortable with medication administration. My sisters dog who I take care of often is afraid of other dogs, so I am very comfortable with dogs who prefer to not interact with other animals. I have less experience with cats, only with spending time with my friends pets, but love all animals and would love to spend time with your pet! I’m currently waiting for my job to start so as of now I have a ton of flexibility! I am new to the area and have enjoyed getting to know Charlotte through walks, and what better way to explore than with a dog! I live in an apartment with my own room and do not have any other pets. I can crate your dog or am comfortable with letting them on my bed as long as they are house trained.
