“Loved having Adam as our Rover! Adam watched our Great Dane for a three-day weekend. Before the weekend, Adam came over for a meet-and-greet to make sure that this was a good fit. Adam was responsive for scheduling and on time. He asked thoughtful questions that showed his familiarity with different breeds and dogs’ needs. We were happy that Adam agreed to watch Scrappy! Over the three-day weekend, Adam arrived on time and excited to see our boy. Adam sent us updates, including lots of photos. He even went above and beyond, playing lots of ball in the yard and cleaning up after our boy. Adam also took good care of our house. It was well kept when we returned, and Adam even took out the trash and stripped the used linens (something that we didn’t ask for but were appreciative of). And when we returned, we were touched to see that Adam had left a dog-specific music channel on the TV (something that Adam had mentioned to us during our meet-and-greet and that we were eager to see used). We’ll be using Adam again! Very thankful for his sitting!”

We had an opportunity to go to Japan for two weeks so we wanted to find the right baby sitter. Paris came prepared with questions and calmed our fears about leaving our dog. She was very organized and wrote down all our comments. She also followed up with us about any comments in a timely manner. Paris was attentive, kept us informed, and gave us updates on our dog on a time schedule that worked for us half way across the world. I specialize in caring for Maltese, Poodles, and Doodles, but I welcome many friendly dogs of all breeds. I also have experience with senior dogs, administering medications, and caring for pets with special needs. Because I have a senior Maltese of my own, I cannot accept aggressive breeds. Because I spend most of my time at home, your dog receives plenty of attention throughout the day instead of being left alone for long periods. I have a clean, non-smoking home and share it with my two Poodles and senior Maltese. I have a secure, fenced backyard with a gated entrance for safe outdoor play. Dogs enjoy scheduled potty breaks, supervised playtime, and a calm, structured environment. Pet care is part of my daily routine, and I intentionally schedule my days around the dogs in my care. My home is clean, calm, smoke-free, and shared with my two friendly Poodles and senior Maltese. My home features a securely fenced backyard with a gated entrance, and I maintain a calm, structured environment with scheduled meals, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of supervision. I have a 13-month puppy who has limited experience around new people, let alone being left in the care of someone new without me present. I had a lot of anxiety about traveling but had a once in a lifetime family reunion out of state I needed to attend. This is my first time using Rover and I wasn't sure I would find someone willing to stay with my dog on the Fouth of July, but I was fortunate enough to find Brittney! We liked her after our meet & greet but I still had nerves, not knowing if my puppy would be able to regulate herself (licking, jumping, etc.) with Brittney while I was away. In the past she has struggled to be calm with new people and I worried she would scare a sitter away with hyper behavior. Brittney had the right calm energy and patience, and everything went just fine. In fact my pup even behaved better than I had expected, much more calmly than I thought she would be capable of with someone new/exciting. Despite my rambling care instructions which changed more than once prior to her visit, Brittney figured everything out and was able to manage my pup, even during my neighbors setting off explosives 25 feet in front of my house. She maintains a great attitude and can problem solve (ie. when my pup was not going into her crate voluntarily). And, she was respectful of my home and willing to provide multiples updates for me throughout my time away. When I returned home my pup and house were just as I left them. I would not hesitate to trust her with the care of my pet again in the future, she took great care of my girl!
Amelia stayed at our home for four nights. She was very attentive to our older dog's needs. He quickly became attached to her. She is a great communicator, sending pictures and letting us know how he's doing throughout the day. She was very sensitive to the fact that he barked only to protect her but is really a scaredy cat. The fireworks over July 4th were particularly upsetting for him but she comforted him beautifully. We enjoyed our vacation, knowing our dog was so well cared for. We will definitely ask for her to stay with him again.
ALLIE IS EXTRAORDINARY, AMAZING, SUPERB & SO MUCH MORE!! We simply can't sing her praises loud enough! She stayed in our home and took care of our dog and 2 cats, and we could not be more happy with her and with the loving care that she took of our fur babies and our home. We loved Allie the minute we met her because she is so professional and friendly and outgoing. All of our pets loved her immediately - even my shy, skittish kitties came out of hiding to greet her in our initial meeting. She followed every instruction perfectly and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Her communication was excellent before, during, and even after her stay. She sent regular updates and photos that made it clear our babies were happy and well cared for. She also reached out to ask questions to clarify anything that came up during her stay. Allie went above and beyond our expectations, making sure our home was clean and tidy and even watered our plants and garden! It was obvious from the moment we met Allie that she truly loves and cares about animals, and she treated our pets and our home like like they were her own. Megan was amazing! She provided updates each day with lots of pictures. She made sure my dogs got plenty of exercise and they were so well cared for! Unfortunately there was an issue with my AC while I was gone and she was very patient and helpful in getting it resolved. My house was clean when I arrived home and I had 2 very happy and healthy pups greet me! I would absolutely have Megan stay with dogs again, no question!
Super thankful for Serafina! This was the second time she has watched Ollie and stayed in my home. I’ve appreciated the periodic updates, could see that Ollie was a happy dog while in Serafina’s care. The house was well maintained upon my arrival. I’m grateful for her flexibly as my flight was delayed an additional two hours, Serafina did an additional check on Ollie after her original watch time had been completed. Thank you again!
