1. Keira M.

“I was really nervous dropping Humphrey (8 months old) for daycare out of the house for the first time. When Humphrey first came in, he was ready to leave again, but a squeaky ball and some extra attention made him smile on the pictures we received. Today was very exciting for him, playing with Milo and the other daycare pup made him extra tired. We will use Keira again and are excited that Humphrey gets lots of playtime visiting with them.”

9. Christine & Andrew R.
About: With over 30 years of hands-on pet care experience, my husband and I are passionate about giving cats and dogs the love and attention they deserve. I grew up with pets and one of my first responsibilities as a kid was to take care of the family pets. At 22, I adopted my first cat of my own. Since meeting my husband 13 years ago, we’ve shared our home with five wonderful cats; we currently live with our two kids, two cats and and our sweet rescue dog, Bodie. We truly understand that every pet has their own unique personality—whether they're playful and energetic, shy and sensitive, or somewhere in between. Over the years, we've cared for family pets, as well as those of friends and neighbors, always treating them like our own. We also have a soft spot for helping stray cats in our neighborhood, making sure they get the care they need. Our approach to pet sitting is built on trust, experience, and genuine love for animals. Whether your pet needs belly rubs, playtime, or just a cozy lap to nap on, we’re here to make them feel safe and happy while you're away! Pet care is a natural part of our daily routine! My husband works from home, and I have a flexible schedule, which means we’re able to provide consistent, attentive care for pets throughout the day. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, medication, walks, or just offering companionship, our flexibility allows us to accommodate different routines, ensuring your pets feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Whether in our home or yours, we provide loving, personalized care to make pets feel safe and comfortable! In our home, we live with a sweet, friendly dog who gets along great with other dogs, cats, and even kids, as well as two cats who are also dog-friendly. We have a big backyard for playtime and are just minutes from the greenway, perfect for long, scenic walks. If needed, we have a dog crate available for pets who are crate-trained. For pets who feel most at ease in their own home, we’re happy to provide care there too! Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, medication, or simply keeping them company, we make sure they get the attention and love they deserve. Our goal is to keep their routine as normal as possible so they feel happy and relaxed while you’re away!

10. Mia C.

“We just started using Mia for daycare (and later this week boarding), but she’s been amazing to work with. She’s a true dog person and cares for each dog as if they were her own. Our dog Birdie doesn’t do well in traditional kennel environments, so being at a home with personal, human bonding is perfect for what she needs.”

11. Corey and Suzanne S.

“Suzanne and Corey were amazing, very welcoming. Our dogs had a blast time at their place. They sent us a lot of pictures and videos throughout the day. Both of them were so tired and a tired dog are happy dogs !!! We highly recommend them and would definitely book them again :)”

12. Sila A.
“She is AWESOME! We met 10 years ago while we were outside with our dogs, then she became my friend and my dog’s auntie Sila ❤️ you can trust her with eyes closed.”

13. Hailey T.

“Hailey as awesome with our dog do daycare! She was very easy to communicate with, sent us lots of pictures during his stay, and our dog came home happy and tired from his day playing with Hailey and her dog. We’ll definitely book with Hailey again in the future!”

14. Tera E.
About: I fell in love with my Christmas baby. A 7 lb Rottie that turned into a 160lb lap dog. Sebastian went to college with me, 13 hours away. He was my everything, wherever I went he went. I have training as a vet tech. I go above and beyond for my animals. 5 dogs, a bearded dragon later I now have a bunny. His name is Smushy and I can't wait to come home and see his Smushy face. Since I've been with Rover certain clients are concerned that I still have my big boys. They have crossed over the Rainbow bridge. I know will see them again 💞. At this time I only have my bunny,so don't be fearful. He has his own room so he will remain safe and my big boys are watching from above so there is no need for concern in that respect. I currently work at Char Bar in Charlotte. Hours are flexible. I'm available to pet sit inhouse or take your pet for a walk. I can also stop in and make sure to let your pet out, and make sure they are fed and loved. At the moment I live in an apartment in Southpark. My bunny is very well taken care of. He has his own condo/guest room. He is a free roaming boy, until it's bedtime or I'm not here to watch him. I'm very familiar with walking large dogs. I raised a Rottie,3 pitties. I've also taken care of the little ones.

15. Cheryl H.

“Cheryl was fantastic with my 2 small dogs. One of them was nervous and she was able to help her calm down. She sent me pictures of them and I felt confident they were in great hands!”

16. Mariela T.
“I left Mariela to my little Kira for a few days, I take care of him very well he sends me photos of his walks in the parks very attentive with the pets I recommend them”

17. Julie D.
“Julie D. is an exceptional dog walker with a truly caring and understanding approach. My dog Toby can be anxious and isn't always friendly with new people, but Julie took the time to let him get comfortable at his own pace. Her patience, calm energy, and genuine love for dogs made all the difference. It wasn't long before Toby warmed up to her and began to trust her completely. You can really tell that Julie treats every dog like her own. I couldn’t be more grateful for the care and attention she’s given Toby. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable, compassionate, and experienced with dogs of all temperaments.”

18. Kristine N.
“Kristine is a fantastic pet sitter. She helped me with my dog, Max, over the course of a few years. Kristine always took great care of Max and I trusted that she would take good care of him. She over communicated with me, always followed the instructions I left her, and made sure Max was okay before she left. Kristine has a great personality and I think a lot of pets will easily be able to get along with her calm demeanor. I highly recommend Kristine!”

19. Anne B.
“Anne is the best dog sitter ever! She watches my Boston terrier Mia for me all the time! Mia is super needy and loves spending time at Anne’s house where she gets to play with her dog Jasper and Anne lets her sleep in the bed as well! I always feel happy and safe leaving her at a place she loves and gets all the puppy love she deserves!”

20. Daija J.
“Anytime I would go out of town, I could always count on Daija to watch my dog with no problems. She always provided a clean, healthy and fun place or wouldn’t mind coming to my home. She’s very punctual and trustworthy.”
