About: Growing up in a dog-centric household, I learned from a young age how to work with puppies and dogs of all ages. I’ve house-sat and watched family and friend’s dogs consistently over the last 10 years, all while doing volunteer work at the local animal shelter. Many times I’ve had dog owners tell me that their dogs don’t usually like strangers, but they feel at-ease with me. I have a lot of experience reading and understanding canine body language, so your pets are in good hands. I currently work full-time, but am able to work remotely when needed. Currently, Thursday-Sundays would work best for me if you need any housesitting or animal care services including walking or bathroom, but have my calendar open for other days/times. I’m very attentive to animal safety when dealing with pets. Unless otherwise instructed, I will keep pets leashed and away from other dogs. Additionally, I will strictly adhere to any nutritional requirements and understand your pet’s current dietary or medicinal needs before working with your pet. Pets have always been family to me, and the treatment of your dog will be held to my same standard.

My goal is to keep your pets happy, safe, and stress free while giving you peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. I lost my best friend a little over a year ago, and while I’m not quite ready to welcome another into my home, caring for animals brings me so much joy. Spending time with your furry family members allows me to share the love I have for pets while providing them with the attention, care, and companionship they deserve while you are away. About: I've been around animals my entire life and have hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and small pets. Growing up, I helped care for our family dogs, a Golden Retriever named Miley, followed by Henry and a beagle terrier mix Tippy. I did feeding, walks, playtime, and daily care. Pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine. As a cat owner, I spend time each day feeding, playing with, and caring for my cat, as well as keeping her environment clean and comfortable. I also enjoy being active and getting outside, so dog walks fit easily into my schedule. I work remotely, which gives me flexibility and allows me to provide attentive care, check-ins, walks, and companionship throughout the day. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while their owners are away. I care for every pet as if they were my own and always follow the owner's instructions and routines. In a client's home, I make sure pets stay comfortable by maintaining their normal schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and lots of attention and affection. I understand that consistency helps pets feel safe while their owners are away. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind. I am a college student so my availability will change as of 8/17. Flexibility is always appreciated and I'll be sure to be communicative in return! I have had dogs and cats of different ages, sizes, and needs and can handle anything from playtime to unhappy sailors. Walking on or off leash, feeding, and medicine are no problem at any age or temperament.
