“Sterling is an excellent dog walker and sitter! Boden, my cavapoo, get so excited at just the mention of Sterling's name! He's a pandemic pup with bad anxiety and she does an excellent job calming him down and comforting him. 17. Christine & Andrew R.
About: With over 30 years of hands-on pet care experience, my husband and I are passionate about giving cats and dogs the love and attention they deserve. I grew up with pets and one of my first responsibilities as a kid was to take care of the family pets. At 22, I adopted my first cat of my own. Since meeting my husband 13 years ago, we’ve shared our home with five wonderful cats; we currently live with our two kids, two cats and and our sweet rescue dog, Bodie. We truly understand that every pet has their own unique personality—whether they're playful and energetic, shy and sensitive, or somewhere in between. Over the years, we've cared for family pets, as well as those of friends and neighbors, always treating them like our own. We also have a soft spot for helping stray cats in our neighborhood, making sure they get the care they need. Our approach to pet sitting is built on trust, experience, and genuine love for animals. Whether your pet needs belly rubs, playtime, or just a cozy lap to nap on, we’re here to make them feel safe and happy while you're away! Pet care is a natural part of our daily routine! My husband works from home, and I have a flexible schedule, which means we’re able to provide consistent, attentive care for pets throughout the day. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, medication, walks, or just offering companionship, our flexibility allows us to accommodate different routines, ensuring your pets feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Whether in our home or yours, we provide loving, personalized care to make pets feel safe and comfortable! In our home, we live with a sweet, friendly dog who gets along great with other dogs, cats, and even kids, as well as two cats who are also dog-friendly. We have a big backyard for playtime and are just minutes from the greenway, perfect for long, scenic walks. If needed, we have a dog crate available for pets who are crate-trained. For pets who feel most at ease in their own home, we’re happy to provide care there too! Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, medication, or simply keeping them company, we make sure they get the attention and love they deserve. Our goal is to keep their routine as normal as possible so they feel happy and relaxed while you’re away!

18. KALEIGH B.
About: I've been taking care of animals as long as I can remember. There was always a dog in the house and either a hamster, guinea pig or lizard. The first dog I had was a dalmation named PD and then a chocolate lab named KC. KC was the first dog I really remebered. She was the absolute best. She went everywhere with us and was a best friend to me growing up. I now have a dog nephew, Gary, who ive helped pet sit throughout the years. I also have 2 cats of my own. Vader, who is 10 and Zuko, who is 5. On top of taking care of them, I have been caring for other people's animals while I was a nanny for the past 11 years. I hope to get the chance to take care of your fur babies as well! I am currently able to work from home and have plenty of time to step out and feed/play/walk from M-F. I am not able to board overnight since I have 2 cats that would not appreciate that. However I do have a spare room with a door to the backyard if needed to watch for a few hours during the day. I am very respectful when going into other people's homes. Only going where necessary and making sure I abide by any boundaries or rules set by the owner.

Great communication through messaging in the Rover app and the walking details with pictures made us feel all the better that our dog was in great hands. Highly recommend Jacquelyn and will book again!”

20. Brian C.
“He loves dogs and all animals. He has taken good care of my pets when I am out of town. He is patient and kind with pets and they react well to him. He would care for your pet as though it was his own. I will continue to have him care for my pets whenever possible.”
