About: I’ve been a dog walker and pet sitter since March 2024. I have experience walking all sizes of dogs from Bernese Mountain dogs to an 8 week old pug. I’ve worked with deaf dogs, a dog that was post-op for an ACL tear, and administered medicine if the pet required it. If you have a reactive dog, I may not be the best fit for you, and that’s okay! I have experience with dogs that are reactive to cars, but I prefer not to work with dogs who are reactive to other animals. I started doing this for a little extra cash & exercise when I’m not touring as a full-time stand up comedian. (It’s a real thing. I promise you never have to hear my jokes, but your dogs probably will at some point during our walks.) If you need a weekday dog walker, I’m your gal! You will also have ample notice for any time that I am traveling out of town for shows as my tours are booked the year prior. I had about 10 consistent weekly clients in Pittsburgh working with a business called Happy Tails, but I just moved to Charlotte so I’m looking for new clients! I’m available most weekdays. Weekends are tougher and will depend on my schedule from my full-time job, but I am open to weekends as long as I am in Charlotte. I am very serious about the comfort and safety of your pet. That means I will take the safest route possible (paved sidewalks with low traffic if possible), provide water, and clean up after them when they potty to keep your neighbors happy. I am happy to follow any guidelines you have for caring for your animal. I am also open to doing a trial period with your pet to make sure that we are a good fit for each other.

About: As long as I have lived I have been surrounded by pets of all kinds. Namely cats and dogs, but also guinea pigs, ferrets, chinchillas, snakes, hamsters, fish, and others. Even since moving out I still regularly care for my friends and families pets. This has given me experience in taking care of pets in all stages of life, from newborns needing potty training to seniors needing medication. I work from home, and most of my work day is hands off letting some coding scripts run. So this gives me a lot of flexibility and time in my day that outside of some select meetings I can focus fully on your pet. If allowed to work in your space I can make any schedule of your pet's needs work. This allows me to always be available to your pet, and combined with my extensive experience in taking care of pets with specialty needs I feel confident in my ability to provide the best possible care.

About: Hi, I’m Megan, a recent college graduate who just moved to Charlotte who loves spending time with animals. I work part-time and my hours aren’t consistent. I could be working morning, night or midday shift, but I am available for pet care before and after work, on weekends, and on holidays. I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life, as my family has always had dogs and my nana has also groomed them. I’ve had plenty of experience helping take care of them, from feeding and walking to playing with them and bathing them (even though it’s definitely not my favorite). Growing up around dogs has also taught me that every dog has their own personality and energy level, and that some need a little more patience and attention than others. I’ve also had a cat of my own for the past three years, so I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats. I genuinely love spending time with animals and would treat your pets with the same patience, attention, and care that I give my own. I’d be happy to keep them company, play with them, follow their normal routine, and make sure they feel comfortable while you’re away! I currently work part-time, but my schedule changes from week to week, so my availability can vary. I’m happy to work with you ahead of time to make sure I’m available when your pets need me. I’m especially flexible for house sitting and can discuss specific dates and schedules with you! I’m not currently able to board pets in my own home, but I’m happy to provide house sitting in your home. I’ll follow your instructions closely, keep your pets’ routines as consistent as possible, and make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention while you’re away.

About: I grew up surrounded by dogs and truly can’t imagine life without them. I had a Pit Bull/Boxer mix and a Bichon from childhood until I was 20, and I now have two Cockapoos who live back home in Florida with my mom. Since recently moving to Charlotte for work, I’ve really missed having dogs around every day, which is a big part of why I wanted to join Rover. I know firsthand how nerve racking it can be to find someone you genuinely trust with your pets. I’m incredibly grateful to have that kind of relationship with my own dog sitter Michael, in Florida, and I’d love to provide that same peace of mind for other pet owners here in the Charlotte area! I also have experience caring for dogs for friends and family, including feeding, walks, playtime and making sure they feel comfortable and loved while their owners are away. More than anything, I just genuinely love animals and would treat your pets with the same care and attention I’d want someone to give my own. I work for the Charlotte Knights, and now that the baseball season has ended, my schedule is much more flexible. I currently work flexible office hours and also work with the Charlotte Checkers. About: I have always had a dog growing up but rescued my own dog, almost 7 years ago and trained him from 1 month old. The experience intensified my love for dogs and training them! I am used to going on walks, potty training, and feeding schedules as well as accommodating quirks (my guy can be weird so I get it lol). I work full time from home so as long as I have notice of when I am needed it should work seamlessly in my life. If pet sitting at your home I want to keep your dog as comfortable and on routine as possible. I am well versed in all sorts of quirks so just let me know and I can adapt to whatever your pet needs. I will be diligent about following instructions and will give lots of attention and affection while you are away.

About: I have experience caring for older/disabled friends that may require special routines and assistance. I love animals of all species! Birds are some of my favs! I work full-time remotely which allows the best availability for frequent potty breaks and/or special care including 1:1 time. I also am a vanlifer so i am very mobile short and long term availability. I follow all pet parents instructions, ensuring the care and safety of our friends is the first priority. I have a pup and a cat if my own
