“First time using rover for our pup and Arell made this a super easy process! Great communication, great care for our pup and was even able to accept our last minute booking! Will book again!”

About: I have always had a dog growing up but rescued my own dog, almost 7 years ago and trained him from 1 month old. The experience intensified my love for dogs and training them! I am used to going on walks, potty training, and feeding schedules as well as accommodating quirks (my guy can be weird so I get it lol). I work full time from home so as long as I have notice of when I am needed it should work seamlessly in my life. If pet sitting at your home I want to keep your dog as comfortable and on routine as possible. I am well versed in all sorts of quirks so just let me know and I can adapt to whatever your pet needs. I will be diligent about following instructions and will give lots of attention and affection while you are away.
About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have experience caring for pets for friends and family. I’m patient, dependable, and treat every pet like they’re my own. I love taking photos and keeping owners updated throughout the day, so you always know your pet is happy and safe. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, loved, and cared for while you’re away! 🐾❤️ I work full time, but I’m able to take breaks throughout the day to make sure your pet is cared for and attended to. I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, love, and care, and I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you know how they’re doing! I make sure every pet is in a safe, comfortable, and loving environment. I’ll follow your pet’s routine and any special instructions you provide, while giving them plenty of attention, love, and care. If your pet stays with me, my apartment complex dog park is right across from my home, making it easy to give them plenty of exercise and playtime.

About: I’ve been a dog walker and pet sitter since March 2024. I have experience walking all sizes of dogs from Bernese Mountain dogs to an 8 week old pug. I’ve worked with deaf dogs, a dog that was post-op for an ACL tear, and administered medicine if the pet required it. If you have a reactive dog, I may not be the best fit for you, and that’s okay! I have experience with dogs that are reactive to cars, but I prefer not to work with dogs who are reactive to other animals. I started doing this for a little extra cash & exercise when I’m not touring as a full-time stand up comedian. (It’s a real thing. I promise you never have to hear my jokes, but your dogs probably will at some point during our walks.) If you need a weekday dog walker, I’m your gal! You will also have ample notice for any time that I am traveling out of town for shows as my tours are booked the year prior. I had about 10 consistent weekly clients in Pittsburgh working with a business called Happy Tails, but I just moved to Charlotte so I’m looking for new clients! I’m available most weekdays. Weekends are tougher and will depend on my schedule from my full-time job, but I am open to weekends as long as I am in Charlotte. I am very serious about the comfort and safety of your pet. That means I will take the safest route possible (paved sidewalks with low traffic if possible), provide water, and clean up after them when they potty to keep your neighbors happy. I am happy to follow any guidelines you have for caring for your animal. I am also open to doing a trial period with your pet to make sure that we are a good fit for each other.

“Super cool fellow. Was on time, walked and took care of my crazy pups without any issue. My furry babies loved him after knowing him for less than an hour. I will definitely work with him again.”

About: I have raised two dogs from puppyhood and handled their training and daily care myself. Kenzie came home at six weeks old, and my husky joined our family at eight weeks old. My experience includes house training, crate training, leash manners, basic commands, socialization, teaching tricks from the past with my pets and all the love and cuddles in the world with a mountain of toys. Friends and neighbors have also trusted me to help with their dogs, especially with common behaviors such as jumping, pulling, nervousness, and adjusting to new routines. I use a calm, patient, and consistent approach, and I never force a dog into an unfamiliar situation before they are comfortable. I am experienced with puppies, large dogs, senior dogs, cats, dogs that are not crate trained, and multi-pet households. I can also administer oral medications, follow specific feeding instructions, prepare meals, and maintain detailed routines. I am also a breast cancer survivor for any of my warriors out there, and when lost my beloved 12-year-old husky Sophie, caring for other companions felt like a meaningful way to honor her memory. With that being said, any special needs dogs, senior dogs that have any disabilities, seizures, cancer or any other needs, just know we have extra care items for your fur baby if needed. My friends often joke that my husband and I are “animal whisperers” because pets tend to feel comfortable and relaxed around us. I work from home working on my start-up business, so I am home all the time! This gives me plenty of flexibility to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day. I can accommodate regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, meals, medication schedules, drop-in visits, and overnight stays. Because I am home most of the day, pets receive companionship and supervision rather than being left alone for long periods. I care for every pet according to their normal routine, personality, energy level, and comfort needs and special needs. My home offers a large backyard for supervised playtime, exercise, and fresh air. There is also a covered gazebo with a grassy area where dogs can relax, cool down, or take a quiet break when needed. There are also two cameras outside as well so I can always have eyes on them no matter what! I am currently transforming my garage into a fun indoor dog jungle gym, although that space is still under construction. For now, pets can enjoy the backyard, comfortable indoor areas, regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of affection. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I carefully follow all feeding, medication, walking, household, and safety instructions. I also provide photos and updates so pet parents can feel comfortable and confident while they are away.
About: With a genuine love for dogs and years of experience, I offer personalized care that meets each pup’s unique needs. From special diets to playtime, I ensure your dog feels safe, loved, and at home while you're away! I work during the day, but I make sure your pup still gets plenty of attention and care. I’m available to be with the dogs during my lunch break, after work, and all throughout the weekends. I can also accommodate overnight stays if your puppy needs it. Whether it’s midday check-ins, evening playtime, weekend fun, or extra snuggles at night, I’m here to make sure your dog feels comfortable, cared for, and loved. I treat every dog and home with the same care and respect as I would my own. Your best friend will get all the love and attention they deserve!
“Shakoya exceeded my expectations from start to finish. I can tell Jasper had such a great time with her. She took extra good care of him while I was away and I hope to use her services again.”

About: I’ve always had a love for animals, even though I didn’t grow up in a family that had pets. I would take every opportunity I could to dog-sit for friends and family just so I could spend time with their pets. When I was 16, I found a stray dog wandering the streets. After searching for his owner and not being able to find them, I decided to adopt him and named him Leo. My family wasn’t exactly thrilled about having a dog, and at one point they even wanted me to take him to a shelter. I refused to give up on him. I committed to training Leo, taking care of him, and proving that he deserved a place in our family. It definitely wasn’t always easy—he even destroyed my mom’s laptop and I ended up getting kicked out of the house for a week! 😂 But eventually, my mom grew to love him and agreed to let me keep him. Five years later, Leo is still part of the family, and he even helped turn us into a true dog-loving household. We’ve since welcomed more dogs into our lives, and they’ve all become a huge part of our family. Because of Leo, I learned firsthand how rewarding it is to care for, train, and build a bond with a dog. I’d love the opportunity to give other pets the same love, attention, patience, and care I’ve always given my own. 🐾❤️ I currently have open availability and would love to spend that time caring for your fur baby while I’m looking for a job in the area. 🐾 Once I find a job, I won’t simply stop caring for your pet! I’ll still have availability on weekends, as well as evenings and nights when needed. My goal is to build lasting relationships with both you and your pets and be someone you can continue to rely on. ❤️ I have two dogs of my own that I love more than anything, so I understand how important it is to make sure every pet feels loved, safe, and cared for. I love keeping my dogs active and socialized by taking them on long walks, visiting dog parks, and giving them plenty of playtime and attention. I’m also very attentive when it comes to their hygiene, health, and overall well-being, and I would provide that same level of care to your pets. I love giving dogs plenty of affection and spoiling them with attention, but I also understand that every dog has a different personality, comfort level, and boundaries. I’ll always take the time to get to know each pet, respect their individual needs, and take the proper precautions to make sure they feel safe and comfortable around me. 🐾❤️
“Maria did wonderful walking and playing with my sweet girl! I have a senior pet and she was very easily able to adapt with her to fit her needs. Will definitely be booking again in the future!”

About: Animals have been my world since I was 15. I’ve worked as a zookeeper at three parks, giving me deep experience with all ages, breeds, and behaviors. I specialize in enrichment, gentle handling, senior care, and even puppy training—with lots of love, of course! 🐾💛 Caring for animals is part of my everyday life. I make time for walks, play, and check-ins, and I treat every pet like family. 🐾💕 In my client’s home, I stick closely to their pet’s routine—feeding, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and plenty of love and attention. I aim to keep pets happy, safe, and relaxed while their humans are away. I also make sure their space stays clean and cozy, just like home should feel.
“Emma is absolutely amazing! She is reliable, professional, and truly cares for my dog like he’s her own. The updates and pictures she sends give so much peace of mind, and our dog gets so excited every time he sees her. We feel incredibly lucky to have found her — highly, highly recommend! ⭐️🐾”

About: Hi, I’m Megan, a recent college graduate who just moved to Charlotte who loves spending time with animals. I work part-time and my hours aren’t consistent. I could be working morning, night or midday shift, but I am available for pet care before and after work, on weekends, and on holidays. I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life, as my family has always had dogs and my nana has also groomed them. I’ve had plenty of experience helping take care of them, from feeding and walking to playing with them and bathing them (even though it’s definitely not my favorite). Growing up around dogs has also taught me that every dog has their own personality and energy level, and that some need a little more patience and attention than others. I’ve also had a cat of my own for the past three years, so I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats. I genuinely love spending time with animals and would treat your pets with the same patience, attention, and care that I give my own. I’d be happy to keep them company, play with them, follow their normal routine, and make sure they feel comfortable while you’re away! I currently work part-time, but my schedule changes from week to week, so my availability can vary. I’m happy to work with you ahead of time to make sure I’m available when your pets need me. I’m especially flexible for house sitting and can discuss specific dates and schedules with you! I’m not currently able to board pets in my own home, but I’m happy to provide house sitting in your home. I’ll follow your instructions closely, keep your pets’ routines as consistent as possible, and make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention while you’re away.
About: I have taken care of dogs big and small. From family dogs to friends dogs! Feed, bathe, and walks! Hope to help put some new pups! I’m new to the Charlotte area and really miss my pups back home! Since I work fully remote, I have the flexibility to step away when needed. I’d love to give your pups the love, attention, and care I miss giving mine. 🐾❤️ I live in a pet friendly apartment building! I don’t have any roommates and the apartment complex has a dog park! We also have a great walking area where many people take their dogs!
About: I’ve always grown up with dogs and cats! I’ve had puppies, toddlers, and senior pets! I live an active lifestyle and love to incorporate pets into that. Walks, treats (if it’s okay), and cuddles are guaranteed with me! Between my husband and I, we currently work a schedule that can easily accommodate a pets involvement and needs! We both enjoy physical activity and also relaxing - so depending on your dogs style, we can definitely accommodate that! We currently live in an apartment building that has plenty of parks and walking spots nearby! We don’t have any kids in the house and we never host more than one pet.

Emma has been walking my puppy Oliver for several months now, and she has always been incredibly responsible and reliable. Oliver has also stayed with her a couple of times, and she took excellent care of him — keeping me updated with photos and being very flexible with scheduling. I always feel completely at ease knowing he’s with her. Highly recommend!
I couldn’t be happier with our experience! He was incredibly reliable and communicated so well the entire time. I loved receiving pictures and detailed stats from Marcelo’s full 1-hour walk—it gave me so much peace of mind. He followed all of the special instructions I left, especially around food, to a tee, and it was so clear how loving and attentive he was with Marcelo. My dog absolutely loved him. Truly a fantastic sitter—I almost wish I could keep him a secret! Highly, highly recommend.

Daniel did a wonderful job taking care of our pup for the first time this weekend!! He followed directions very well and even adapted to an unexpected surprise when our alarm went off although we told him it was not set. He did a great job communicating! We highly recommend Daniel and will definitely be using him again!
