Hi! I’m Ryan and I’ve been caring for animals for over a decade starting at age 11 when my sister and I launched our pet-sitting business. We quickly became the go-to sitters for families in our neighborhood and surrounding areas, trusted to keep pets happy, loved, and comfortable while their owners were away. I grew up with Golden Retrievers, all of whom were certified therapy dogs. I was hands-on in their training and early socialization, which sparked my lifelong passion for animals. Dogs have always been part of our family and came along on vacations and everyday adventures as well. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, geese, ducks, and reptiles. Whether your pet has paws, claws, feathers, or scales, I would be honored to care for them. I’m confident, experienced, and devoted to making sure your furry (or not-so-furry) family members feel safe, loved, and right at home while you’re away.

I couldn’t be happier with our experience! He was incredibly reliable and communicated so well the entire time. I loved receiving pictures and detailed stats from Marcelo’s full 1-hour walk—it gave me so much peace of mind. He followed all of the special instructions I left, especially around food, to a tee, and it was so clear how loving and attentive he was with Marcelo. My dog absolutely loved him. Truly a fantastic sitter—I almost wish I could keep him a secret! Highly, highly recommend.
First and foremost, Ryan is a ‘dog person’. He loves dogs and has a great vibe that our dog instantly connected with. Ryan came highly recommended by friends of ours. We needed him for a full week while we were out of the country. He kept us updated on our fur baby’s activities and well being. (Including photos which we loved getting.) He also handled some unexpected ‘snafus’ like our house alarm randomly going off in the middle of night. For us, having someone stay at our house and give us ‘real time’ updates is true peace of mind.

- If we cannot set up a visit for me to meet your furry friend ahead of time it is important for me to at least get an idea of what sort of things they might enjoy, special behaviors they exhibit, and most importantly what vet and emergency vet you prefer. I have never had the need to take an animal to the vet while pet sitting, but I believe that it is the most important thing to know so that I can be prepared to take care of them under any circumstances.
