About: I’ve been a dog walker and pet sitter since March 2024. I have experience walking all sizes of dogs from Bernese Mountain dogs to an 8 week old pug. I’ve worked with deaf dogs, a dog that was post-op for an ACL tear, and administered medicine if the pet required it. If you have a reactive dog, I may not be the best fit for you, and that’s okay! I have experience with dogs that are reactive to cars, but I prefer not to work with dogs who are reactive to other animals. I started doing this for a little extra cash & exercise when I’m not touring as a full-time stand up comedian. (It’s a real thing. I promise you never have to hear my jokes, but your dogs probably will at some point during our walks.) If you need a weekday dog walker, I’m your gal! You will also have ample notice for any time that I am traveling out of town for shows as my tours are booked the year prior. I had about 10 consistent weekly clients in Pittsburgh working with a business called Happy Tails, but I just moved to Charlotte so I’m looking for new clients! I’m available most weekdays. Weekends are tougher and will depend on my schedule from my full-time job, but I am open to weekends as long as I am in Charlotte. I am very serious about the comfort and safety of your pet. That means I will take the safest route possible (paved sidewalks with low traffic if possible), provide water, and clean up after them when they potty to keep your neighbors happy. I am happy to follow any guidelines you have for caring for your animal. I am also open to doing a trial period with your pet to make sure that we are a good fit for each other.
“Due to my job she wasn’t able to meet my dogs prior and they were comfortable enough with her to go outside with her. (My older dog can be wary of new people sometimes)”

About: What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I bring to every pet. I take time to really understand their routine, personality, and needs so they feel comfortable, safe, and genuinely cared for—not just watched. I have experience with puppies and can help reinforce basics like potty training, leash walking, and positive behavior in a patient, encouraging way. I’m also great with senior pets, making sure they’re comfortable, sticking to routines or medications, and adjusting care to match their pace. I’m reliable, easy to communicate with, and I keep you in the loop with regular updates and photos so you always have peace of mind. At the end of the day, I treat every pet like they’re my own—making sure they’re happy, healthy, and well cared for. 🐾 As a disabled veteran, pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m available 24/7 and have the flexibility to give pets consistent, reliable care throughout the day and night. In my apartment: I create a calm, pet-friendly space where they can relax and feel at ease. I stick closely to their usual feeding schedule, walks, and sleep routine so nothing feels out of place. There’s plenty of supervised playtime, attention, and a safe area for rest. I keep things clean, structured, and low-stress so it really feels like a home away from home.
About: I’ve had French Bulldogs my whole life and also fostered large dogs during college, so I’m comfortable with all breeds and temperaments. I’m calm, patient, and confident handling everything from stubborn walkers to energetic pups. My goal is to give your dog safe, fun, and enriching walks so they return home happy and relaxed. I work full-time from home, which gives me a flexible schedule—perfect for midday and afternoon walks! I’m available for dog walking during lunch hours and most weekdays after 2 p.m., and I’m happy to work with your routine. While I don’t offer boarding, I’ll treat your dog with the same love and care I give my own. I prioritize safety on every walk, pay attention to your dog’s cues, and will follow all instructions you provide. You can count on me to show up, communicate clearly, and care for your dog like family.
“Megan is the best! I have a nervous Chihuahua rescue and she was so patient and attentive to his needs. She is reliable and such a joy! Couldn’t recommend her more :)”

“Adam was great! He was easy to communicate with and sent timely updates on his check-ins with my dog. I will definitely book him again!”

“All of her pictures were super cute! She did great taking care of our two cats and was very receptive to my unnecessarily long information/to-do list 😂”

“Savannah provided reliable care for our cat. She was prompt, efficient and followed all of our instructions perfectly. Our cat was very responsive to her and we appreciated her caring, professional attitude.”

About: I’ve always been a huge animal person and have a dog of my own who is very much part of the family. I’m reliable, communicative, and will absolutely send you pictures because I’d want the same! work full-time during the week, but I’m available most afternoons and evenings for walks and drop-ins, with even more flexibility on weekends. I’m happy to help with everything from a quick potty break and some playtime to a longer walk when your pup needs to get some energy out! Your pet’s safety and routine are always my priority. I’ll follow your feeding instructions closely, make sure fresh water is available, and keep walks safe and appropriate for your dog’s needs and energy level. I’m also big on communication, so you can expect updates and plenty of pictures while your pup is with me!
“Emily (and her hubby) were great! They always arrived right on the requested time and provided great visit notes and pictures. She was also super communicative and understanding - especially while trying to figure out visit times around the holidays.”

“Beth was amazing! unfortunately I lost my baby girl almost 18 years while I was away. She handle the situation in a way that made me feel “calm” I don’t know if it’s the right word to use but when you’re away and things are out of your control, I felt like she handled things on my behalf In matter .Beth was extremely caring and compassionate during this very difficult time.”

About: Hi, I’m Megan, a recent college graduate who just moved to Charlotte who loves spending time with animals. I work part-time and my hours aren’t consistent. I could be working morning, night or midday shift, but I am available for pet care before and after work, on weekends, and on holidays. I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life, as my family has always had dogs and my nana has also groomed them. I’ve had plenty of experience helping take care of them, from feeding and walking to playing with them and bathing them (even though it’s definitely not my favorite). Growing up around dogs has also taught me that every dog has their own personality and energy level, and that some need a little more patience and attention than others. I’ve also had a cat of my own for the past three years, so I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats. I genuinely love spending time with animals and would treat your pets with the same patience, attention, and care that I give my own. I’d be happy to keep them company, play with them, follow their normal routine, and make sure they feel comfortable while you’re away! I currently work part-time, but my schedule changes from week to week, so my availability can vary. I’m happy to work with you ahead of time to make sure I’m available when your pets need me. I’m especially flexible for house sitting and can discuss specific dates and schedules with you! I’m not currently able to board pets in my own home, but I’m happy to provide house sitting in your home. I’ll follow your instructions closely, keep your pets’ routines as consistent as possible, and make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention while you’re away.
“This was our first time leaving our boys with a sitter and we were so nervous but Chloe did an excellent job reassuring us + providing updates so we still felt like we were home with them! She sent photos, videos, and communicated with us throughout the booking; we will absolutely book with Chloe in the future if she’s available!”

“Noah was fantastic! Gave me great peace of mind that my pup was well taken care of. Plus Noah kept in great contact with me. I was especially impressed that Noah could handle my very hyper pup, Brewser, nd I loved the pictures of Brewser on his walks and also chilling on Noah's lap. Very impressed!”

About: I have been an owner of generally two large dogs since I was ten, and have dog sat multiple different sizes of dogs for neighbors. Neighbors have asked me to housesit their dogs for up to a week at a time, with feeding and walking constant. I have also boarded my aunts dog twice, both times for a week. I am working full time, but I am working from home on my laptop, so I am always home. I usually get up around 6:30, and then stay up several hours after work gets off. I have a flexible schedule, so I am usually able to let dogs out when they need to go out, and can bring my work laptop to a house I am sitting and work from there. I usually wait to see what the pet owner is actually looking for. I like to get specific instructions on when the pet should be fed, what medicines they should have, how long they like to go on walks or go outside, and in what ways I can best make both the owner and pet comfortable with my stay.
The median cost per visit for pet sitting in Starmount Forest is $20

Megan is an excellent sitter and I highly recommend her. She's very professional and genuinely loves cats, which was very important to me. Appreciated her attention to detail and professionalism.

Sidney was amazing with my two crazy cats! She made sure they were well fed, litter boxes cleaned, and most importantly loved 🥰 She is amazing at communicating quickly and sent me daily photos of my babies during every drop in! Couldn’t recommend her enough and will be using her again in the future!❤️

Julia is just amazing! She was so accommodating by taking my last minute booking and makes me feel so at ease any time I have to leave my kitties!!
