About: Previous owner of two small dogs who lived to 16 and 13. Have experience with a dog with intense medical needs (epilepsy) and have administered medication previously. Have experience in dog and cat care through volunteering at an animal shelter (Pawmetto Lifeline, SC). Currently free for the summer time (weekdays 11am-6pm) as I am an educator. Would be open to doing weekend work (also 11-6pm) once school begins. Since I have experience working with a special needs dog, I understand the importance of timeliness and attention to detail. I have a pet family of my own, and know the stress that can come with someone else taking care of them. I am someone who triple checks all leashes and harnesses before leaving, be it for a dog or a cat. My home is not open for pet sitting due to my cats, but I am more than willing to drop-in and make sure your pet family has their needs being met.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, of all shapes and sizes, and a fair amount of cats. In addition, my Mom was an animal rehabilitative specialist throughout my life so I’ve learned to care for all types of critters - nothing would surprise me! I’m interested in finding more activities outside of professional work and I can’t think of a better way than to help other pet owners give their best friends fun and gentle care when life gets too busy. I know too well the guilt or stress of not being able to take a break in a busy day to give our furry family members the chance to stretch their legs or have a nice break for a little bit of play time.

About: Family had a dog when i was 10 that i was responsible for and i loved, played and cared for him. After high school i went into the Army and ended up working with dogs as a Military police for 7 years which i loved. During all this time i always had a dog or dogs and now i have a cat. Love dogs and cats and they bring me joy i work from home during the week and hardly ever go out of town or never gone from the house longer than 5 hours when i am off. I can keep my cat in a different area of yours if wanted. I ensure they are safe, loved and played with. i take the time to give them attention whether it be petting, brushing, playing with different toys and games, walking and of course loving them. About: I am a HUGE dog lover who enjoys dogs of all breeds. I have cared for dogs of all ages, breeds and needs. I have experience with dogs with health concerns such as arthritis, seizures, anxiety etc. My experience also includes dogs of all personalities as I have been caring for dogs in different capacities for 12 years. I grew up with dogs and have experience with fostering, as well. My most recent experience has been with a one year old Pit Bull and a six month old Australian Shepard. I strive to provide the same care for your dog that you would. I will love and care for your dog like he/she is my own! I do have an Australian Sheppard puppy. He is house trained and gets along well with other dogs. He loves to play and would love to have a friend visit!

About: Dogs have been the center of my life for over 16 years. My journey started with my two little terriers. A Yorkie and a Silky Terrier who quickly turned my love for animals into a lifelong passion and purpose. Over the years I became the person friends, family, and neighbors call when they find an animal in need. Whether it's helping rescue a neglected dog, connecting someone with a shelter, or stepping in to care for a pet, I’ve always felt a deep responsibility to advocate for animals who can’t speak for themselves. In August 2023 I lost my soul dog, Lola, and the grief was overwhelming. In her honor, I began volunteering at the Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Shelter in October 2023. Helping the dogs there reminded me how much love I still had to give. Since then I’ve fostered dogs for the shelter as well as local rescues like Peanut’s Place Small Dog Rescue and FurBabies Animal Rescue. Every foster that has passed through my home has received my full heart and dedication, and seeing them find loving homes has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. In 2024 I foster-failed with my sweet girl Lacey, who reminded me so much of Lola and became a permanent part of my family. Caring for rescue dogs has given me experience with dogs of many breeds, temperaments, and ages, from shy and scared pups to energetic personalities who just need guidance and love. Dogs aren’t just pets to me, they are family. I treat every dog in my care the same way I treat my own. I am currently working part-time, so I am home most of the day. My schedule is flexible and can make myself available for walks and feedings morning midday afternoons and evenings as needed. Providing a safe, loving, and calm environment is always my top priority. I live in a townhome with a small fenced backyard, and our neighborhood is extremely dog-friendly. Many of my neighbors have dogs, so I’m constantly out walking my dog and foster pups making sure they get exercise, enrichment, and fresh air. When caring for dogs in my home or yours, I focus on maintaining their normal routine as much as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and plenty of affection. I also understand that every dog has a unique personality and comfort level, so I always take the time to learn their needs and boundaries. Safety and trust are incredibly important to me. I pay close attention to body language, keep a clean and calm environment, and ensure dogs always feel secure and comfortable. My experience volunteering, fostering, and walking dogs has helped me become very attentive to changes in behavior, energy, and stress levels. About: Hi! I am a student and football player at Furman University. I’m a lifelong dog lover who grew up around dogs of all sizes and personalities. Caring for dogs has always been a natural part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them, whether that’s going on walks, playing, or just giving them attention and comfort.
