“Frankie loved his first walk with Chrissy and we appreciated her detailed updates and pictures! Thank you for making us feel confident about leaving our pup! We can’t wait for the next one!”

“From our first meeting, Richa has been nothing but thoughtful and kind. It wasn't an easy decision to leave Maggie in the care of someone I didn't know, but Richa quickly made me feel at ease. Her communication and picture updates let me know that my pup is being well taken care of. Maggie and I are extremely thankful we found her! Cannot recommend enough!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 20 years, from energetic puppies as a kid growing up to wise senior dogs with special needs. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, medication, or just being a calm and reassuring presence, I treat every dog like they’re my own. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels — from zoomies to couch potatoes. I work full time remotely, with slight travel on an annual basis. My schedule is pretty flexible! Perfect for early mornings, lunch, or afternoon care with weekend availability majority of the time! When I care for your pet in your home, I treat it like my own — with respect, cleanliness, and attention to detail. I know how important it is to keep your pet’s routine and environment consistent, so I follow your instructions carefully and make sure they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. I’ll also send daily updates with pictures so you know everything’s going smoothly. My goal is to make sure your pets — and you — feel completely at ease.
“Roshini is super! YoYo loves her and she is good at following instructions. She is on time and dependable which is important to my 4-legged baby. She is on an ongoing schedule with us and is flexible when needed. I will continue to use her services and highly recommend her.”

“Savannah has been absolutely wonderful with Seal! From the very beginning, she went above and beyond by scheduling a meet-and-greet to make sure it was a great fit and to learn all about Seal’s needs and routine. It was clear right away how thoughtful and attentive she is. Seal looks forward to their walks every day, and it’s been such a relief knowing she’s in such caring hands. Savannah is consistently punctual, incredibly communicative, and her Rover report cards are always detailed and reassuring. She’s also been very flexible with scheduling, which has been a huge help while I’ve been adjusting to a new job and navigating a new routine. Most importantly, Savannah treats Seal with so much care, attention, and affection—it truly shows in how happy Seal is after every walk. I’m so grateful we found her and would wholeheartedly recommend Savannah to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate dog walker!”

“Skylar is the best! She communicates with me about scheduling and to let me know how my dog is doing. I appreciate her so much and highly recommend her.”

About: Previous owner of two small dogs who lived to 16 and 13. Have experience with a dog with intense medical needs (epilepsy) and have administered medication previously. Have experience in dog and cat care through volunteering at an animal shelter (Pawmetto Lifeline, SC). Currently free for the summer time (weekdays 11am-6pm) as I am an educator. Would be open to doing weekend work (also 11-6pm) once school begins. Since I have experience working with a special needs dog, I understand the importance of timeliness and attention to detail. I have a pet family of my own, and know the stress that can come with someone else taking care of them. I am someone who triple checks all leashes and harnesses before leaving, be it for a dog or a cat. My home is not open for pet sitting due to my cats, but I am more than willing to drop-in and make sure your pet family has their needs being met.

About: I am simply the biggest dog lover there is, there is something about them that makes me a better person. I have to say hi, pet and kiss every single dog I see anywhere. I've had dogs for more than 30 years and always cared for them as my babies. Taking care of someone else's dog gives me the chance to have another furry baby to spoil even if is just for a few days. I can appreciate that all of them have different personalities and needs and I do my best to treat them in such a way that they don't miss their family so much. I know they might be sad so I just do my best to make them feel at home. I work from home, I am very flexible to go visit your puppy early in the morning, lunch time and dinner time. If they are staying with me, they can have multiple outdoor activities. I big have a fenced yard and two super friendly Goldendoodles (boy 6 and girl 9) who are waiting to play and cuddle with your puppy.
About: Over the years I’ve cared for dogs in one way or another such as pet sitting, check-in’s and in home day care. When caring for the dogs they have my full attention for play and exercise. I am currently dog walking and checking in part time during the day. If needed I am available on Saturday or Sunday with advance notice. I currently have two Boston Terriers between the age of 3 and 6. They are my furbabies. I’ve not met a dog I haven’t loved. I’ll bring that same attention while checking or walking yours.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, of all shapes and sizes, and a fair amount of cats. In addition, my Mom was an animal rehabilitative specialist throughout my life so I’ve learned to care for all types of critters - nothing would surprise me! I’m interested in finding more activities outside of professional work and I can’t think of a better way than to help other pet owners give their best friends fun and gentle care when life gets too busy. I know too well the guilt or stress of not being able to take a break in a busy day to give our furry family members the chance to stretch their legs or have a nice break for a little bit of play time.
About: Dog lover who doesn’t mind taking long walks. Veteran pet lover with proven care experience. Not just a sitter - A pet care professional with heart. Tons of tail wags. Recently had to put down our dog of 13+ years. Recently retired, so I am available mornings, afternoon and evenings to take care of your pets. Have had dogs in our home for over 20 years. I have a fenced in yard so dog can play outside and roam around. Neighborhood has walking trails. Easily walk over two miles without having to leave the neighborhood.
“Alexis was great! Came on time and made sure my dog was well taken care of. Responded quickly and with no issues. I would gladly utilize her again in the future. Thanks again for your help!”

About: My love for animals started when I was a kid, my mom still laughs about how I wanted to bring home every dog and cat we passed on the street 😅 When I was 13, my family got our first dog - a Labrador named Chelsea, who was my best friend for 12 years. That’s where I learned the real stuff: reading a dog’s energy, handling leash interactions with other dogs, sticking to feeding schedules and planning walks that actually fit the dog’s needs🥹 I now have my own miniature dachshund, so I know firsthand what it means to trust someone with your pet. I treat every dog like my own, with patience, attention and a whole lot of love 🐾 What you can expect from me: • I stick to your pet’s routine so they feel calm and safe, even when you’re away • I’m flexible with timing for walks, potty breaks, and feeding • I always send photo updates so you know your fur baby is doing great • I suggest a meet & greet before the first booking I work mostly from home, which means I have flexible availability throughout the day. I can easily adjust to your pet’s schedule, whether it’s a morning walk, a midday check-in or an afternoon potty break. When visiting a client’s home, I stick to the pet’s usual routine as much as possible, so they feel calm, comfortable and loved even when their parents are not around🫂 Also I’d love to know about your pet’s habits, likes and dislikes, feeding schedule, any dietary needs or meds, and how they like to play. If it’s a dog, I’d also love to know how they do with other dogs and people on walks, whether they prefer active or laid-back outings, and if they have a favorite route or love exploring new spots🥰
About: You can travel or go out to work or have moments of leisure without having any worry about your pet. Personalized attention and a lot of love. We will take care of your dog like a member of my family. I am currently working full time and that is the reason that I am free to take care of your dog between Fridays and Sundays. On fridays I will be ready to play at 5:00pm. Always prioritizing the well-being of the pet, following the instructions according to what its owners have established. I like to be able to offer accommodations according to the needs of each pet.
About: I have grown up with dogs and have plenty of experience caring for them. I pet sat frequently growing up, and helped my roommates in college with their animals (taking them out, caring for them, walking them, taking them to dog parks). I also have experience caring for cats and chickens, so I’m really up for whatever! I currently work full time as a teacher. Work ends at 3:30, so during the week I’m primarily available to check in, walk your pup, and hang out for a little while if need be. I love going outside, so I’m more than happy to take dogs for long walks! I can only do overnight care on the weekends since I teach during the week, and I live in an apartment currently so I can’t board any animals. Starting June I am on summer break and so I have a lot more availability :) I have little experience in terms of professional training, but I’m always looking to learn from resources around me. I know lots of tips from online resources, and I have plenty of experience handling dogs from growing up; I was responsible for feeding and walking the dogs. I will love on your pet as if they were my own and treat them as such!
Whiteoak dog parents share their Rover experiences
Kelli walked my dog Charlie while I was out of town. She communicated promptly, asked thoroughly questions, and was not daunted by his big puppy energy. I also really appreciated that she looked up the weather ahead of time and we adjusted walk times accordingly with the heat index. She arrived on time and he returned a happy & tired dog ready for his morning snooze. The next time I’m out of town and she’s available, l’d definitely book Kelli again!

Delaney has been so great with my dog Dexter!! She has walked him numerous times over the past couple of months. She always sends such detailed reports and pictures which I greatly appreciate! I would highly recommend her if you’re in need of someone to walk your pup!
