Savannah was a wonderful pet sitter for our dog Riley and we would definitely use her again. She was very caring, responsible and professional. Savannah had such a gentle way about her when she interacted with Riley and it was very clear that she loved animals. I felt totally comfortable leaving Riley with Savannah and it was such a relief to go away on vacation knowing that Riley was being taken care of so well. We were so lucky to have found Savannah and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a capable and kind per sitter.

Tera is fantastic and cares so much for our dogs. Neighbors have noted how much she cares for our pups when she is walking in our neighborhood. Her frequent communication allowed us to enjoy our visit knowing our boys were well taken care of in our absence. We will have her back again!

About: Dogs have been the center of my life for over 16 years. My journey started with my two little terriers. A Yorkie and a Silky Terrier who quickly turned my love for animals into a lifelong passion and purpose. Over the years I became the person friends, family, and neighbors call when they find an animal in need. Whether it's helping rescue a neglected dog, connecting someone with a shelter, or stepping in to care for a pet, I’ve always felt a deep responsibility to advocate for animals who can’t speak for themselves. In August 2023 I lost my soul dog, Lola, and the grief was overwhelming. In her honor, I began volunteering at the Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Shelter in October 2023. Helping the dogs there reminded me how much love I still had to give. Since then I’ve fostered dogs for the shelter as well as local rescues like Peanut’s Place Small Dog Rescue and FurBabies Animal Rescue. Every foster that has passed through my home has received my full heart and dedication, and seeing them find loving homes has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. In 2024 I foster-failed with my sweet girl Lacey, who reminded me so much of Lola and became a permanent part of my family. Caring for rescue dogs has given me experience with dogs of many breeds, temperaments, and ages, from shy and scared pups to energetic personalities who just need guidance and love. Dogs aren’t just pets to me, they are family. I treat every dog in my care the same way I treat my own. I am currently working part-time, so I am home most of the day. My schedule is flexible and can make myself available for walks and feedings morning midday afternoons and evenings as needed. Providing a safe, loving, and calm environment is always my top priority. I live in a townhome with a small fenced backyard, and our neighborhood is extremely dog-friendly. Many of my neighbors have dogs, so I’m constantly out walking my dog and foster pups making sure they get exercise, enrichment, and fresh air. When caring for dogs in my home or yours, I focus on maintaining their normal routine as much as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and plenty of affection. I also understand that every dog has a unique personality and comfort level, so I always take the time to learn their needs and boundaries. Safety and trust are incredibly important to me. I pay close attention to body language, keep a clean and calm environment, and ensure dogs always feel secure and comfortable. My experience volunteering, fostering, and walking dogs has helped me become very attentive to changes in behavior, energy, and stress levels. Whether your dog needs a relaxing walk, overnight care, or just someone to keep them company while you're away, you can trust that they will receive patience, love, and attentive care. As a bonus, I am fluent in both English and Spanish, which allows me to communicate with even more pet parents in our community.

I’m reliable, communicative, and treat every pet like my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away! I am available M-F and occasionally on weekends with a heads up!! Very flexible and happy to help with your pets’ needs and routines! Depending on the owners’ preference, I would play with the animals and provide them with any comfort that I feel they are most keen to.

Leila and Sam were amazing with our dogs! During the meet and greet, and upon first arrival for the sitting Sirius can be skiddish, but this couple knew what to do to get him to warm up and be comfortable! Molly loves making new friends so she immediately liked Leila and Sam. They were great at communicating with us everyday and sending the cutest pictures! We really enjoyed having them care for our pups and will definitely be rebooking with them in the future 🤗

Me & My Girlfriend had a last minute cancellation on our pet sitter and reached out to Johanna last minute to see if she was available to watch our two pups. Luckily, she had availability and was able to watch them while we were out of town. She kept an open line by always sending us updates or pictures which we loved. Her compassion towards animals creates a worry free experience when she’s watching them. Frank and Whiskey loved having her over to take care of them and she even brought them special treats from home. We will continue to reach out to Johanna for all our pet sitting needs. She is truly a gem.

Tera stayed with our little baby for over a week. During the time we were away, Tera kept me informed as to how our angel was doing and sent multiple photos that cheered me! Upon our return we found the house clean and our precious girl completely well cared for! Thank you Tera!!!

Meredith really went above and beyond on this most recent trip for us! We went out of town just before the big snowstorm in Charlotte, and she was very consistent and timely taking care of Daisy despite the weather. We’re so grateful to have her travel across town in less than ideal conditions, especially on a steeper hill nearby. Daisy got to play in the snow, and always got her treats and meds on time. So grateful for the help!

Lobo, our 12 year old 10lb rescue chihuahua mix approves! Matthew was so patient with him even though Lobo takes a bit to warm up to new people. By the end of their first day together they were buddies. Matthew sent us photo updates daily which really calmed my anxiety about having a new sitter. He paid good attention when touring the house and meeting Lobo for the first time, asking lots of good questions. We came home to a clean kitchen and the guest room already put back together after his stay too! He’s definitely our new top pick dog/house sitter from the area!
