“Skylar literally saved my dog's life. On the last day of my vacation, while I was on my layover, Skylar messaged to say that Sabi didn't seem her usual self and wasn't interested in dinner. Sabi is at high-risk for aspiration pneumonia, and lethargy and inappetance are classic signs. Skylar and I talked quickly and she took Sabi's temperature. Since it was way above normal, Skylar took her to Friendship Animal Hospital and stayed there for four hours until I landed and could get there myself. Fortunately, Sabi needed only one night in the hospital and will be okay, but if Skylar hadn't been so attentive and attuned to Sabi's behavior and temperment, it could have been a different outcome. I am so grateful! And, this is all on top of Skylar going above and beyond: she picked up Sabi's medicines from Costco which were delayed getting refilled, so I couldn't get them before I left. And, she was willing to have Sabi's acupuncture vet appointment at the house. The vet said that Skylar was "the best, most responsible I've ever encountered". Thank you again, Skylar!”
