“Lauren was wonderful with my dog! I could tell he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. It gave me such peace of mind knowing he was in great hands.”

“Rosemary is amazing. This is the first time we left our girl with someone other than family. She went above and beyond to send us regular pictures and messages. Our dog had stomach issues and was nursed to good health. We are incredibly grateful and we cannot say enough good things about our experience. I asked Rosemary not to get too busy for us!”

“Nathalie was absolutely wonderful with our old gal S’mores!! She was such a pleasure to communicate with, and she was so caring with S’mores’ little needs for an older dog who is a little deaf… She sent great pictures and made sure our gal had a smooth, easy visit! Many thanks!!!!!😊😊”

“Yevheniia did a great job watching our dog Foquito. She was very responsive and accommodating. Her communication was great and we appreciated the photos she sent of Foquito during his stay with her. “This was my first time using the Rover app, based on a friend's referral. Because of my experience with Maria, I don't see how it could have gone any better. Maria was sweet and attentive, and she gave updates with notes, pictures, and videos. I could tell from everything I saw and received that our fur baby was loved by her family just as much as we did. I particularly liked that because Maria knew I was on a work trip, she kept updates to a minimum and provided them when requested. So, I didn't have to feel inundated with information while traveling for work. I highly recommend her and will definitely use her services again. She made this such a pleasant and positive experience for my family and I. Thanks Maria!.”

“Jeff and Lilia took excellent care of Bailey. They made sure she adjusted well to her new surroundings and sent regular updates with photos throughout the day. This was our first time using a Rover and we are extremely pleased! We have already booked Bailey’s next stay at their home.”

“We had a great experience with Vassa! She made sure to play with our dog every day, which we really appreciated. We also loved receiving lots of pictures and updates of Raya, it gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Her dog, Chase, got along really well with Raya, and it was clear they had a great time together. Raya came home happy, healthy, and well cared for. We would definitely book with Vassa again!”

“You can just tell Nick and Sara truly love dogs. The were so kind, flexible and very easy to work with. We got plenty of updates of our dog and he absolutely loved them. I would recommend them to anyone. We will definitely be booking with them again!”

“Joselyn was very kind in taking my pet on short notice after something unexpected came up. She was communicative and sent me daily updates. My dog had lots of fun playing in her yard and with her other dog and family. I highly recommend her!”

“Lindsay was great! She was very thoughtful and sent us pictures of our golden retriever. She sent us daily updates. We were very lucky to find Lindsay to take care of our dog. I will highly recommend her pet sitter services.”

“I believe this is the third time Joshua and Audrey have watched Teddy and it's been a perfect experience every time. They send frequent check in photos, take Teddy for hikes, and it's really nice they have a fenced in backyard for the dogs to run around. I wouldn't hesitate to book with them again.”

“First time leaving my pup with anyone since her health issues so I was a little nervous but they were so nice and considerate of her meds routine. I enjoyed the daily check-ins with photos of her living her best life. Extra bonus was a private yard that she loved! Will definitely use them again!”

“Niedra was great! She was super responsive and frequently sent picture and video updates! She was also very accommodating with scheduling! Will definitely be booking her to keep Winston in the future!”

“Yisel is wonderful!! Took such great care of Lady!! Really does a great job of making your pet feel at home! Highly recommend!! We will definitely call her again! She is very kind and super responsive! Great experience for our family! ???”

“Weiying was phenomenal! My cats felt so comfortable around her and she went above and beyond! I would recommend her to anyone and hopefully she will be available when I need a sitter in the future because she is truly the best there is!”

“All of her pictures were super cute! She did great taking care of our two cats and was very receptive to my unnecessarily long information/to-do list 😂”

“Linda did a fantastic job checking in on our cat while we were away. She was very efficient, did everything exactly the way I hoped for, and sent lots of detailed photos. My cat didn’t show herself the first time Linda came by, so the next time, Linda took the extra effort to make sure she laid eyes on the cat, ensured she was ok, and sent me a photo of her. Taking those extra steps was much appreciated to ease our minds that the cat was ok! I will feel very comfortable working with Linda again, the next time we travel.”

“Megan was an amazing sitter! From the initial meetup, we could tell she was very experienced with cats and even learned a few things from her about ways to provide enrichment. During visits, she always provided detailed updates and adorable pictures even getting our shy cat to come out and say hi!”

“Samantha took exceptional care of our two cats while we were out of town. She kept us updated on their happiness and wellbeing, sent cute pictures, and cleaned up an accident when one of the cats failed to use their box. We would be happy to have Samantha help us again in the future.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Savannah provided reliable care for our cat. She was prompt, efficient and followed all of our instructions perfectly. Our cat was very responsive to her and we appreciated her caring, professional attitude.”

“Tera is great. Works well with owners and their pets (two cats in this case). Pays attention to details and provides helpful feedback in addition to pictures.”

“Shakoya has now watched my cats 3 times and each time I feel so confident that they will be well loved and taken care of. She is very attentive, a great communicator, and even cleaned up a broken vase that my cats got into! I cannot recommend her enough!! Thank you, Shakoya (:”

“Emily was amazing! She gave daily updates and sent pictures of my kitty. She was easy to get in touch with and responded very quickly to any questions I had. Most importantly, my cat seems to be very happy spending time with her. They took very good care of her and were very gentle with Cleo. I will definitely rebook with Emily.”

“Christy was great with communication and punctuality. She took good care of my two cats and followed the instructions that I left for her. I will rebook in the future.”

“First time using Rover, and really impressed with Sara. She was great answering our questions beforehand, and did a great job with Zelda! Fun pictures and a nice write up as well. Highly recommended!”

About: Your dog gets calm, attentive care in a real home, not a kennel, and not an overcrowded house. I’ve had animals my entire life, including dogs, cats, and farm animals, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of temperaments, energy levels, and needs, including senior dogs and those requiring medication. I’m home based and available throughout the day, which means consistent supervision, companionship, and exercise, whether that’s a relaxed neighborhood walk or a longer outing on the nearby greenway trail. I keep boarding low volume, typically one guest at a time, to maintain a calm, safe environment. I have a spacious fenced backyard and do a meet-and-greet before every booking to make sure it’s a good fit for your dog. You’ll get regular updates and photos so you always know how they’re doing. Reliability and clear communication aren’t extras, they’re just how I operate. I work part time from home, which leaves me with a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for pet care. I’m home most of the day, allowing me to provide consistent walks, attention, and supervision. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, not as an afterthought, so your pet gets reliable, focused care. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s needs, preferences, and any medical or behavioral considerations so I can care for them in a way that feels familiar and low-stress. In your home, I respect your space and your pet’s established routine. I follow all care instructions closely including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and any household preferences so your pet experiences as little disruption as possible. In my home, I provide a calm, supervised environment with a spacious backyard and access to a nearby greenway for walks. I keep boarding low-volume (typically one client at a time) to ensure each pet gets focused attention. Pets are never left unsupervised with my puppy, and I use slow, thoughtful introductions to make sure everyone is comfortable. I prioritize safety at all times, including secure leashing on walks, monitoring interactions, and maintaining a clean, hazard-free environment. I also provide regular updates so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away.

About: I've taken care of multiple dogs throughout my life and I've owned up to 3 dogs at once. I understand what it means to have a family member taken care of the right way. I've trained German Shepards and Chihuahuas. I have trained my stepdads's Husky as well. Cuddles are definitely a bonus! I'm currently working part time overnight. Other than that, I am home all day. I usually order items online, so I stay home for most things. I have a son who loves pets. He does very well with any type of pet. I have a large 3 bedroom apartment with a large patio. I live on the 3rd floor but the floors are not carpet so there are no issues with an potty accidents that could occur if the pet needs special care.
About: I have hands-on experience with dogs at every stage of life, from training energetic puppies and reinforcing good habits, to providing patient, attentive care for senior dogs. I currently care for two dogs, a 7 year old labordoodle and a 3 year old golden doodle. I also have experience with senior dogs, which has given me a deep understanding of the extra compassion, attention, and adaptability older dogs need. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all care. Every dog has their own personality, energy level, and needs—and I take the time to understand that. Whether it’s structured walks, consistent training reinforcement, or simply making sure your dog feels safe and loved while you’re away, I treat every dog like my own. I build my schedule around consistent time blocks each day, which allows me to provide reliable, attentive care while still being flexible for my clients’ needs. Whether it’s a morning walk, midday check-in, or overnight stay, I make sure every dog gets dedicated, unrushed attention. I provide attentive, structured, and loving care whether pets are in my home or their own environment. My goal is always to keep their routine as consistent, safe, and stress-free as possible. In my home, dogs have access to a secure, fenced-in backyard where they can safely run and play. I regularly spend time outside with them playing fetch and letting them burn off energy, along with taking them on walks throughout the day. I currently have two dogs of my own, so any dog in my care benefits from social interaction, supervised play, and a comfortable, home-like environment. Inside, I make sure every dog has a calm, clean space to relax, with plenty of attention, affection, and supervision. I follow each owner’s instructions closely when it comes to feeding schedules, crate routines, medications, and any specific needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. This includes walks, feeding, playtime, and reinforcing any training or habits they’re used to. I also make sure the home is respected and kept tidy, and I provide regular updates so owners feel confident and at ease while they’re away. Overall, I treat every pet like my own—making sure they are safe, exercised, mentally engaged, and genuinely cared for.
About: I grew up with dogs in my home since I was a child. I moved to Charlotte in 1999 and got my Jack Russell Terrier Norman and he was so loved he lived until 18 1/2! I thought I’d give it some time before I got another dog but we ended up getting Coco two weeks later and Enzo several months later. The humans in my household are me, my husband, Chris and my two teenage sons, Greyson (17) and Cayden (16). We all love dogs! I’ll be the only caregiver of your pet but just wanted to include who else is in our home. I’m a stay at home mom so I’m home to give your dog the care he or she needs. My two dogs are very friendly and love to play! I worked for a veterinarian in college so I’ve been around many types of dogs and cats. At my house dogs are family. They are allowed on our furniture and sleep in our bed. We have a huge fenced in yard with a 6 foot privacy fence.
“Katherine is amazing! We were so nervous to leave our very anxious dog for the first time and Katherine was very comforting and clearly had a ton of experience with dogs. We will most definitely be trusting her with our little doggy again :)”

About: I have always had a love for all dogs and want to pat every one I see! We had our own beautiful pup previously. As we don’t have a dog right now, I love to treat yours like family and make sure they feel safe, loved and neutered for while in my care. I can only have hypoallergenic dogs in my home right now but happy to do drop ins or walk any type of dog. I work from home so my schedule is very flexible and gives me more time to provide attention to your fur baby. For drop ins we have the ability to be flexible with time and for in boarding it means your dog will have people around a majority of the time. We allow pets to go where they feel comfortable whether it be the sofa, upstairs or to sleep in a bedroom. I will follow whatever feeding schedule you prefer and your preferences on where you would prefer they sleep. We have a fully fenced, large backyard for them to run, play and explore.
“Sarah and her family have a beautiful home and an amazing backyard for the pups! Her dogs are very sweet and Gracie had lots of attention and play time. Communication was also excellent. I highly recommend Sarah and her family. Thanks guys!”

“I had the best experience with Joanna as my dog sitter! She was so accommodating last minute, incredibly dependable, and truly went above and beyond. She was loving, affectionate, and patient with my 12-week-old rescue puppy who isn’t fully potty trained yet. Her dog, Sunny, was the sweetest companion and the perfect playmate for my pup. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’m so grateful for her help and highly recommend Joanna to anyone needing a caring, trustworthy sitter!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 20 years, from energetic puppies as a kid growing up to wise senior dogs with special needs. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, medication, or just being a calm and reassuring presence, I treat every dog like they’re my own. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels — from zoomies to couch potatoes. I work full time remotely, with slight travel on an annual basis. My schedule is pretty flexible! Perfect for early mornings, lunch, or afternoon care with weekend availability majority of the time! When I care for your pet in your home, I treat it like my own — with respect, cleanliness, and attention to detail. I know how important it is to keep your pet’s routine and environment consistent, so I follow your instructions carefully and make sure they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. I’ll also send daily updates with pictures so you know everything’s going smoothly. My goal is to make sure your pets — and you — feel completely at ease.
“Mary is the sweetest dog walker. She took care of my girl Jewel beyond what I hoped for during their hour long walk. Would use again. she came earlier than scheduled when I suggested it might rain later and that meant everything cause my dog doesn’t like the rain.”

“Skylar was a great dog walker for our senior pup. She was always on-time and took great care of Daisy throughout her walk. We'll be working with her again in the future!”

“Savannah has been absolutely wonderful with Seal! From the very beginning, she went above and beyond by scheduling a meet-and-greet to make sure it was a great fit and to learn all about Seal’s needs and routine. It was clear right away how thoughtful and attentive she is. Seal looks forward to their walks every day, and it’s been such a relief knowing she’s in such caring hands. Savannah is consistently punctual, incredibly communicative, and her Rover report cards are always detailed and reassuring. She’s also been very flexible with scheduling, which has been a huge help while I’ve been adjusting to a new job and navigating a new routine. Most importantly, Savannah treats Seal with so much care, attention, and affection—it truly shows in how happy Seal is after every walk. I’m so grateful we found her and would wholeheartedly recommend Savannah to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate dog walker!”

“Cerys is awesome! I've booked her twice and will book her again for sure. From the second she met with us during the meet&greet, I could tell her and Diesel were bonded. She was receptive to all the information and "quirks" that Diesel has and worked with her. She didn't take the shortcut and just take Diesel to the park. She ran her as far as Diesel wanted to go. Diesel is so happy to see Cerys anytime she came by for a walk.”

“Hands down the BEST! Sarah is professional, on-time and she is great with Haiti. I can say having a Cane Corso you will be nervous if the person can handle their strength. Sarah was great book her!”

“Kristena is this patient, flexible and knowledgeable. She has the same breed of dog that I have and she’s giving me great insight on bear. When Bear returns home from the walk, he is so tired that all he can do is lay on the floor, which I appreciate very much. Since our chronic migraines and other health issues, I really appreciate all that Kristena how interacts with Bear.”

About: Previous owner of two small dogs who lived to 16 and 13. Have experience with a dog with intense medical needs (epilepsy) and have administered medication previously. Have experience in dog and cat care through volunteering at an animal shelter (Pawmetto Lifeline, SC). Currently free for the summer time (weekdays 11am-6pm) as I am an educator. Would be open to doing weekend work (also 11-6pm) once school begins. Since I have experience working with a special needs dog, I understand the importance of timeliness and attention to detail. I have a pet family of my own, and know the stress that can come with someone else taking care of them. I am someone who triple checks all leashes and harnesses before leaving, be it for a dog or a cat. My home is not open for pet sitting due to my cats, but I am more than willing to drop-in and make sure your pet family has their needs being met.
“Chloe is the best! She’s incredibly consistent, always communicative, and makes scheduling a breeze. I have peace of mind knowing my pup is in great hands. I can’t recommend her enough!”

“Katie is absolutely the best! We are moving out of state and we will all miss her dearly after 3+ years of caring for our pup. We hope to find another person who can provide the same level of care and love for our boy. If you are looking for pet care, look no further!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, of all shapes and sizes, and a fair amount of cats. In addition, my Mom was an animal rehabilitative specialist throughout my life so I’ve learned to care for all types of critters - nothing would surprise me! I’m interested in finding more activities outside of professional work and I can’t think of a better way than to help other pet owners give their best friends fun and gentle care when life gets too busy. I know too well the guilt or stress of not being able to take a break in a busy day to give our furry family members the chance to stretch their legs or have a nice break for a little bit of play time.
About: I have always had a dog growing up but rescued my own dog, almost 7 years ago and trained him from 1 month old. The experience intensified my love for dogs and training them! I am used to going on walks, potty training, and feeding schedules as well as accommodating quirks (my guy can be weird so I get it lol). I work full time from home so as long as I have notice of when I am needed it should work seamlessly in my life. If pet sitting at your home I want to keep your dog as comfortable and on routine as possible. I am well versed in all sorts of quirks so just let me know and I can adapt to whatever your pet needs. I will be diligent about following instructions and will give lots of attention and affection while you are away.
“Samantha was able to walk Gemma last minute at lunch for a few days this past week. She was patient and kind with Gemma when she was very nervous at first. She kept me updated and sent photos. Would absolutely hire again. Great dog walker! Thank you !”

About: I’ve loved all animals all my life plus I’ve had and have a pet now. It would be a pleasure to take care of your pets with all my heart! I work from home (or anywhere) but primarily in the South Charlotte area. I’m flexible with my time during the day so I’m available to help when needed. I also attend graduate school which I fund with my Rover income. Please consider booking with me-thank you! Pet safety is my number one concern and priority! I’m patient, caring and loving to all animals. Personally, I believe dogs and cats are special creatures. I’m happy to discuss your needs for your pets so I can give you all the best experience ever!
About: Dogs have been the center of my life for over 16 years. My journey started with my two little terriers. A Yorkie and a Silky Terrier who quickly turned my love for animals into a lifelong passion and purpose. Over the years I became the person friends, family, and neighbors call when they find an animal in need. Whether it's helping rescue a neglected dog, connecting someone with a shelter, or stepping in to care for a pet, I’ve always felt a deep responsibility to advocate for animals who can’t speak for themselves. In August 2023 I lost my soul dog, Lola, and the grief was overwhelming. In her honor, I began volunteering at the Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Shelter in October 2023. Helping the dogs there reminded me how much love I still had to give. Since then I’ve fostered dogs for the shelter as well as local rescues like Peanut’s Place Small Dog Rescue and FurBabies Animal Rescue. Every foster that has passed through my home has received my full heart and dedication, and seeing them find loving homes has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. In 2024 I foster-failed with my sweet girl Lacey, who reminded me so much of Lola and became a permanent part of my family. Caring for rescue dogs has given me experience with dogs of many breeds, temperaments, and ages, from shy and scared pups to energetic personalities who just need guidance and love. Dogs aren’t just pets to me, they are family. I treat every dog in my care the same way I treat my own. I am currently working part-time, so I am home most of the day. My schedule is flexible and can make myself available for walks and feedings morning midday afternoons and evenings as needed. Providing a safe, loving, and calm environment is always my top priority. I live in a townhome with a small fenced backyard, and our neighborhood is extremely dog-friendly. Many of my neighbors have dogs, so I’m constantly out walking my dog and foster pups making sure they get exercise, enrichment, and fresh air. When caring for dogs in my home or yours, I focus on maintaining their normal routine as much as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and plenty of affection. I also understand that every dog has a unique personality and comfort level, so I always take the time to learn their needs and boundaries. Safety and trust are incredibly important to me. I pay close attention to body language, keep a clean and calm environment, and ensure dogs always feel secure and comfortable. My experience volunteering, fostering, and walking dogs has helped me become very attentive to changes in behavior, energy, and stress levels. Whether your dog needs a relaxing walk, overnight care, or just someone to keep them company while you're away, you can trust that they will receive patience, love, and attentive care. As a bonus, I am fluent in both English and Spanish, which allows me to communicate with even more pet parents in our community.

I have properly trained my 4 year old German Shepherd. I love and adore pets and will treat your dog the way you and your family would. I currently work from home, so I am able to take care of your pet Sunday-Friday during all times of the day as long as I do not have a scheduled meetings. I am happy to discuss certain schedules if you decide to work with me! I do not offer services within my own home. I am happy to come into your home as needed to properly care for your pet.

I have experience with dogs with health concerns such as arthritis, seizures, anxiety etc. My experience also includes dogs of all personalities as I have been caring for dogs in different capacities for 12 years. I grew up with dogs and have experience with fostering, as well. My most recent experience has been with a one year old Pit Bull and a six month old Australian Shepard. I strive to provide the same care for your dog that you would. I will love and care for your dog like he/she is my own! I do have an Australian Sheppard puppy. He is house trained and gets along well with other dogs. He loves to play and would love to have a friend visit!

“Yevheniia did a great job watching our dog Foquito. She was very responsive and accommodating. Her communication was great and we appreciated the photos she sent of Foquito during his stay with her. We could tell he was having fun. She was also very attentive when he got a small cut on his paw, and we appreciate that she took time to clean it and put antiseptic. We plan to book with her again!”
