About: Dogs have been the center of my life for over 16 years. My journey started with my two little terriers. A Yorkie and a Silky Terrier who quickly turned my love for animals into a lifelong passion and purpose. Over the years I became the person friends, family, and neighbors call when they find an animal in need. Whether it's helping rescue a neglected dog, connecting someone with a shelter, or stepping in to care for a pet, I’ve always felt a deep responsibility to advocate for animals who can’t speak for themselves. In August 2023 I lost my soul dog, Lola, and the grief was overwhelming. In her honor, I began volunteering at the Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Shelter in October 2023. Helping the dogs there reminded me how much love I still had to give. Since then I’ve fostered dogs for the shelter as well as local rescues like Peanut’s Place Small Dog Rescue and FurBabies Animal Rescue. Every foster that has passed through my home has received my full heart and dedication, and seeing them find loving homes has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. In 2024 I foster-failed with my sweet girl Lacey, who reminded me so much of Lola and became a permanent part of my family. Caring for rescue dogs has given me experience with dogs of many breeds, temperaments, and ages, from shy and scared pups to energetic personalities who just need guidance and love. Dogs aren’t just pets to me, they are family. I treat every dog in my care the same way I treat my own. I am currently working part-time, so I am home most of the day. My schedule is flexible and can make myself available for walks and feedings morning midday afternoons and evenings as needed. Providing a safe, loving, and calm environment is always my top priority. I live in a townhome with a small fenced backyard, and our neighborhood is extremely dog-friendly. Many of my neighbors have dogs, so I’m constantly out walking my dog and foster pups making sure they get exercise, enrichment, and fresh air. When caring for dogs in my home or yours, I focus on maintaining their normal routine as much as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and plenty of affection. I also understand that every dog has a unique personality and comfort level, so I always take the time to learn their needs and boundaries. Safety and trust are incredibly important to me. I pay close attention to body language, keep a clean and calm environment, and ensure dogs always feel secure and comfortable. My experience volunteering, fostering, and walking dogs has helped me become very attentive to changes in behavior, energy, and stress levels. Whether your dog needs a relaxing walk, overnight care, or just someone to keep them company while you're away, you can trust that they will receive patience, love, and attentive care. As a bonus, I am fluent in both English and Spanish, which allows me to communicate with even more pet parents in our community.

About: Previous owner of two small dogs who lived to 16 and 13. Have experience with a dog with intense medical needs (epilepsy) and have administered medication previously. Have experience in dog and cat care through volunteering at an animal shelter (Pawmetto Lifeline, SC). Currently free for the summer time (weekdays 11am-6pm) as I am an educator. Would be open to doing weekend work (also 11-6pm) once school begins. Since I have experience working with a special needs dog, I understand the importance of timeliness and attention to detail. I have a pet family of my own, and know the stress that can come with someone else taking care of them. I am someone who triple checks all leashes and harnesses before leaving, be it for a dog or a cat. My home is not open for pet sitting due to my cats, but I am more than willing to drop-in and make sure your pet family has their needs being met.

I work full-time remotely which allows the best availability for frequent potty breaks and/or special care including 1:1 time. I also am a vanlifer so i am very mobile short and long term availability. I follow all pet parents instructions, ensuring the care and safety of our friends is the first priority. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, of all shapes and sizes, and a fair amount of cats. In addition, my Mom was an animal rehabilitative specialist throughout my life so I’ve learned to care for all types of critters - nothing would surprise me! I’m interested in finding more activities outside of professional work and I can’t think of a better way than to help other pet owners give their best friends fun and gentle care when life gets too busy. I know too well the guilt or stress of not being able to take a break in a busy day to give our furry family members the chance to stretch their legs or have a nice break for a little bit of play time.

About: I have grown up with dogs and have plenty of experience caring for them. I pet sat frequently growing up, and helped my roommates in college with their animals (taking them out, caring for them, walking them, taking them to dog parks). I also have experience caring for cats and chickens, so I’m really up for whatever! I currently work full time as a teacher. Work ends at 3:30, so during the week I’m primarily available to check in, walk your pup, and hang out for a little while if need be. I love going outside, so I’m more than happy to take dogs for long walks! I can only do overnight care on the weekends since I teach during the week, and I live in an apartment currently so I can’t board any animals. Starting June I am on summer break and so I have a lot more availability :) I have little experience in terms of professional training, but I’m always looking to learn from resources around me. I know lots of tips from online resources, and I have plenty of experience handling dogs from growing up; I was responsible for feeding and walking the dogs. I will love on your pet as if they were my own and treat them as such!

About: I am a HUGE dog lover who enjoys dogs of all breeds. I have cared for dogs of all ages, breeds and needs. I have experience with dogs with health concerns such as arthritis, seizures, anxiety etc. My experience also includes dogs of all personalities as I have been caring for dogs in different capacities for 12 years. I grew up with dogs and have experience with fostering, as well. My most recent experience has been with a one year old Pit Bull and a six month old Australian Shepard. I strive to provide the same care for your dog that you would. I will love and care for your dog like he/she is my own! I do have an Australian Sheppard puppy. He is house trained and gets along well with other dogs. He loves to play and would love to have a friend visit!

I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise and playtime, and receive lots of attention and affection. For dogs, I provide walks and active play based on their energy level. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they can feel confident their pet is being well cared for. My goal is to make every pet feel happy, secure, and loved while their owner is away.

About: I have been pet sitting for almost 30 years . I have a medium/ large dog and two cats and they allow me to live in their world. We are all big CANES fans! I am open to specific requests for playtimes or routines for boarding, drop ins and walking. Is there a specific route you want us to take? Is there a certain bedtime routine you like them to follow? I can accommodate most requests in order to make your pet fill at ease when I am visiting or sitting. I will evaluate and accept same day requests when possible. Please don't hesitate to reach out with questions. I work 12 min away from my office so I am able to check the animals multiple times per day if needed. Outside of work, I keep an open schedule to provide service when needed. I have a small fenced in yard but will provide at least two walks per day. I can keep your pet separated if needed. If not, then your baby will become a part of ours and join the rest of the pack that runs the house.
