About: I’ve been a dog walker and pet sitter since March 2024. I have experience walking all sizes of dogs from Bernese Mountain dogs to an 8 week old pug. I’ve worked with deaf dogs, a dog that was post-op for an ACL tear, and administered medicine if the pet required it. If you have a reactive dog, I may not be the best fit for you, and that’s okay! I have experience with dogs that are reactive to cars, but I prefer not to work with dogs who are reactive to other animals. I started doing this for a little extra cash & exercise when I’m not touring as a full-time stand up comedian. (It’s a real thing. I promise you never have to hear my jokes, but your dogs probably will at some point during our walks.) If you need a weekday dog walker, I’m your gal! You will also have ample notice for any time that I am traveling out of town for shows as my tours are booked the year prior. I had about 10 consistent weekly clients in Pittsburgh working with a business called Happy Tails, but I just moved to Charlotte so I’m looking for new clients! I’m available most weekdays. Weekends are tougher and will depend on my schedule from my full-time job, but I am open to weekends as long as I am in Charlotte. I am very serious about the comfort and safety of your pet. That means I will take the safest route possible (paved sidewalks with low traffic if possible), provide water, and clean up after them when they potty to keep your neighbors happy. I am happy to follow any guidelines you have for caring for your animal. I am also open to doing a trial period with your pet to make sure that we are a good fit for each other.
“Weiying did a great job doing drop-in visits with my cat for a few days! She cleaned his litter box multiple times and sent me lots of photos. Very communicative and helpful. Would absolutely book again!”

“Due to my job she wasn’t able to meet my dogs prior and they were comfortable enough with her to go outside with her. (My older dog can be wary of new people sometimes)”

“Samantha was able to help us out very last minute. She even made extra visits to check on our pup while we were away! She was very responsive and shared updates and photos. We will definitely book again!”

“All of her pictures were super cute! She did great taking care of our two cats and was very receptive to my unnecessarily long information/to-do list 😂”

“Adam was great! He was easy to communicate with and sent timely updates on his check-ins with my dog. I will definitely book him again!”

“Amber was absolutely wonderful with Honey while I was away. She visited twice a day, kept me updated on how Honey was doing, and sent the cutest photos that always put my mind at ease. Honey can be a bit challenging due to her anxiety, but Amber handled everything with patience, care, and professionalism. Whenever there was an issue or concern, she was quick to reach out and keep me informed, which I greatly appreciated. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Amber went above and beyond, and I would recommend her without hesitation to any of my friends or family looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter or dog walker. 10/10 experience!”

“Megan is the best! I have a nervous Chihuahua rescue and she was so patient and attentive to his needs. She is reliable and such a joy! Couldn’t recommend her more :)”

“Savannah was great with Akela! She kept me well informed on everything going on while I was not home. I returned home to a very happy dog! Savannah is at the top of my list for dog sitters!!”

“Beth was amazing! unfortunately I lost my baby girl almost 18 years while I was away. She handle the situation in a way that made me feel “calm” I don’t know if it’s the right word to use but when you’re away and things are out of your control, I felt like she handled things on my behalf In matter .Beth was extremely caring and compassionate during this very difficult time.”

“We have worked with Melissa several times now and she’s the best. Very conscientious and takes good take of our kitties. She’s very flexible and has been able to handle unforeseen changes in our schedule. Thank you so much!”
About: Hi, I’m Megan, a recent college graduate who just moved to Charlotte who loves spending time with animals. I work part-time and my hours aren’t consistent. I could be working morning, night or midday shift, but I am available for pet care before and after work, on weekends, and on holidays. I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life, as my family has always had dogs and my nana has also groomed them. I’ve had plenty of experience helping take care of them, from feeding and walking to playing with them and bathing them (even though it’s definitely not my favorite). Growing up around dogs has also taught me that every dog has their own personality and energy level, and that some need a little more patience and attention than others. I’ve also had a cat of my own for the past three years, so I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats. I genuinely love spending time with animals and would treat your pets with the same patience, attention, and care that I give my own. I’d be happy to keep them company, play with them, follow their normal routine, and make sure they feel comfortable while you’re away! I currently work part-time, but my schedule changes from week to week, so my availability can vary. I’m happy to work with you ahead of time to make sure I’m available when your pets need me. I’m especially flexible for house sitting and can discuss specific dates and schedules with you! I’m not currently able to board pets in my own home, but I’m happy to provide house sitting in your home. I’ll follow your instructions closely, keep your pets’ routines as consistent as possible, and make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention while you’re away.
“Kim does a great job! Lily gets along so well with her. She burns a lot of energy during Kim’s visits and sleeps better at night. Kim is an excellent communicator and super friendly. So easy to work with. I’m very grateful to have her help caring for Lily!”

“we had such a great experience with dominique! she was super communicative the whole time, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. she took amazing care of our cats — you could tell she really cared and went above and beyond to make sure they were happy and comfortable. we didn’t have to worry about a thing. highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful sitter!”

About: I’ve taken care of all types of dogs since I was 15! I grew up with a german shepherd mix and 2 chocolate labs. My husband and I currently have a corgi, who is always keeping us on our toes and is our best friend. :) I can do dog walks, drop-ins, daycare or boarding. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Excited to meet your pup! I joined Rover while my contract was up at my job, but it has since restarted! I really enjoyed my time on Rover, so I am still available on the app from time to time when I am in town on the weekends or nights! I have a fenced in yard and a friendly corgi who loves to play. Happy to drop in at your home too if your pup is more comfortable there!
“Noah was fantastic! Gave me great peace of mind that my pup was well taken care of. Plus Noah kept in great contact with me. I was especially impressed that Noah could handle my very hyper pup, Brewser, nd I loved the pictures of Brewser on his walks and also chilling on Noah's lap. Very impressed!”

About: I have been an owner of generally two large dogs since I was ten, and have dog sat multiple different sizes of dogs for neighbors. Neighbors have asked me to housesit their dogs for up to a week at a time, with feeding and walking constant. I have also boarded my aunts dog twice, both times for a week. I am working full time, but I am working from home on my laptop, so I am always home. I usually get up around 6:30, and then stay up several hours after work gets off. I have a flexible schedule, so I am usually able to let dogs out when they need to go out, and can bring my work laptop to a house I am sitting and work from there. I usually wait to see what the pet owner is actually looking for. I like to get specific instructions on when the pet should be fed, what medicines they should have, how long they like to go on walks or go outside, and in what ways I can best make both the owner and pet comfortable with my stay.

Megan is an excellent sitter and I highly recommend her. She's very professional and genuinely loves cats, which was very important to me. She made a point to meet with me before her first visit and get to know the kitties and their routines. The pictures she sent while watching them were awesome! Appreciated her attention to detail and professionalism.

Darshan was very attentive, timely and extremely caring with my two senior cats- one of whom requires daily meds. He administered the meds easily and my cat wasn’t any wiser and for my slightly younger cat who loves a good play session Darshan took the time to get in some great hunting. Both cats took to Darshan really well and I felt very safe knowing they were in his care. Will rebook again. 5 out of 5 stars!

Sidney was amazing with my two crazy cats! She made sure they were well fed, litter boxes cleaned, and most importantly loved 🥰 She is amazing at communicating quickly and sent me daily photos of my babies during every drop in! Couldn’t recommend her enough and will be using her again in the future!❤️
