I am a recent college graduate who has ample free time, and I am able to accommodate almost any level of pet care into my daily routine, regardless of the intensity. When I house-sit, my entire day is devoted to the pet or pets in my care.

I have the utmost respect for the property of others and strive to leave the home exactly as it was left -- clean, safe, and with a healthy, happy pet. I am big on schedules and follow them to the letter, as well as providing quality care for the animals through affection and security that moves beyond maintaining feeding times and walk schedules.

At meet-and-greets, I find it absolutely essential to get a sense of not only the logistics of caring for each pet, but also their personalities and what I can do as a sitter to help them thrive. Does your dog melt in the rain? Will your cat only be hand-fed? I want to know it all! No detail goes ignored and every fact is cherished.

While house-sitting, it is my priority to ensure that each pet is as well-cared for and adored as if they were my own. To ensure that the pet has as little disruption to their normal routine as possible, I am a stickler for feeding and exercise schedules. However, it's also imperative that we bond and have as much fun as we can! That means spending time outdoors, playing interactive games, stimulating their minds with things like puzzle toys, and endless affection. I also love to provide games for the pets that I sit according to their personalities, some of the most popular being hide-and-seek and treat mazes.

Hello! My name is Lauren and I am a lifelong animal lover. As a child, I have fond memories of owning just about every pet imaginable, including a cats and dogs. Now, as I am a recent college graduate, I'm hoping to devote my time to caring for the beloved fur children of other pet parents. I have experience with all needs and breeds, from tiny puppies with endless energy to senior dogs who can't hear well but can smell a treat from a mile away! My passion for animals shines through every moment I have with them. I am especially interested in providing quality care for dogs that are reactive, senior, or have anxiety, because those niches are ones that I experience every day with my own pups. I provide constant or near-constant care for every single animal in my care, because their comfort and safety is my utmost priority. Also, please be aware that for dogs over twenty pounds I do require a fenced-in yard to ensure the safety of your pet!

Lauren was very detail-oriented and thorough. She followed my instructions to a tee and asked her own questions to make sure she was prepared. She left my house exactly how I left it. She took such great care of my fur baby and always gave descriptions that were intentional and creative. I will recommend her to anyone and will use her again for my next vacation away.
