Hello! My name is Lauren and my approach to pet-sitting is simple, yet profound: I provide the care I would want for my own dogs. As a child, I have fond memories of owning just about every pet imaginable, including cats and dogs. My lifetime of caring for dogs has allowed me ample experience with all needs and breeds, from tiny puppies with endless energy to senior dogs who can’t hear well but can smell a treat from a mile away! I am especially passionate about providing quality care for dogs that are reactive, senior, or have anxiety, as those are the niches that I experience everyday with my own pups. I have proficiency with everything from insulin injections to storm anxiety to the specific amount of spoiling deserved by senior dogs, and my passion for animals shines through every single moment I have the privilege of caring for someone else’s beloved pet. Please be aware that for dogs over fifteen (15) pounds and/or who are reactive, I do require a fenced-in yard to ensure the safety of your pet!

I have pet-sat for many various friends, family, and neighbors in the past, and when I do so, I treat the pet and their home as my own. I have the utmost respect for the property of others and strive to leave the home exactly as it was left -- clean, safe, and with a healthy, happy pet. I am big on schedules and follow them to the letter, as well as providing quality care for the animals through affection and security that moves beyond maintaining feeding times and walk schedules.

I cannot thank Lauren enough for the incredible care she provided for my dog. Caring for a reactive dog requires so much patience, understanding, and attention to detail, and Lauren handled everything flawlessly. From our very first interaction, Lauren took all of my instructions seriously and made sure she understood my dog’s specific triggers, needs, and comfort levels. She was incredibly calm, patient, and attentive, and she created an environment where my dog felt safe and comfortable throughout his stay. What meant the most to me was seeing how much my dog came to trust Lauren. By the end of her stay, he was cuddling up with her — something that is a huge deal for a reactive dog and really speaks to the patience, care, and trust Lauren built with him. Lauren also provided regular, reassuring updates and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that my dog was not only being well cared for, but genuinely loved and understood. It is rare to find someone who is so knowledgeable, compassionate, and confident with reactive pets. If you are looking for a trustworthy, responsible, and truly caring sitter who can handle specialized needs, I cannot recommend Lauren highly enough. We will absolutely be booking with her again!
This is the second time having Lauren housesit. She was very caring, thorough, and detail oriented. Her communication and pictures made me know that my fur baby was in great hands. I will definitely use her again in the future!

Lauren was wonderful with Bailey. My dog wasn’t feeling great and she kept me updated throughout the day. Highly recommend because I’m really picky.

Schedule
I am a recent college graduate who has ample free time, and I am able to accommodate almost any level of pet care into my daily routine, regardless of the intensity. When I house-sit, my entire day is devoted to the pet or pets in my care.
