About: I have been taking care of family dogs and my neighbors dogs since I was 10. I also raised my puppy since she was 4 weeks old. I am currently not working so I have open availability preferably mornings and afternoons. I am willing to work around your schedule as well if needed. I have a big yard with a 6foot tall fence, so they have freedom in the backyard to play and run. I also am cautious with the animals when they are outside.
“Kristin was wonderful she took care of the babies perfectly. She even brought them some toys to play with. She sent me plenty of pictures of them. I had total peace of mind, knowing she was caring for the babies. I appreciate her services greatly!”

“So professional and very good at communicating. She even helped me when I realized I forgot about an order being dropped at our house. Could not recommend Linda enough. She helped us when we had to go out of town last minute, and we didn’t worry one bit.”

“Brea continues to be absolutely outstanding. She always pays close attention to my dog, is cool under pressure, extremely helpful, and approachable. One thing I'd like to especially call out is her utmost reliability - whether it be following the special/unusual instructions for my dog or timely arrival and actions. She's simply stellar. I could not be more pleased and grateful.”

“As always, Cynthia did a fantastic job with Squeaks while I was traveling. She always communicates if something comes up and she needs to change the time she drops in, and Squeaks loves the attention.”

“Emily (and her hubby) were great! They always arrived right on the requested time and provided great visit notes and pictures. She was also super communicative and understanding - especially while trying to figure out visit times around the holidays.”

“Weiying is an excellent pet sitter and took care of my 5 yr old cat Russell when I was away for a week. I needed someone in a pinch and within a few minutes Weiying responded to my request with her availability. This was my first time using Rover and being away from my cat this long. She was very timely and professional and sent daily updates with photos. I strongly recommend Weiying if you are in need of a sitter!”

“Melissa was fantastic with Miley. Miley is not an easy walk, but Melissa always took great care of her and worked really hard to make Miley a better walker.”

About: I grew up on a farm in Northeast PA & throughout my life & have cared for hundreds of different animals, everything from horses & cows to orphaned opossums & baby fox. I currently have one cat, Annie, sometimes I’ll go several days without seeing her, so she doesn’t have any effect on boarding different animals. Depending on the cat or dog, they’ll get along and play, but most times just completely ignores them. My family bred German Shepherds for several years growing up, so training puppies and dogs isn’t something I’m necessarily new too. I try to make it a fun experience, I spoil them with walks & treats, & lots of playtime, especially when my kids are here. (I promise my children will have more energy than your dog) Here's the deal, I'm not claiming to be the dog whispering Caesar Milan, but I feel I do possess the knowledge & skills to not only watch your furry friend but to actually care for them. Every animal is different & I will alter my approach and handling in different ways. If your dog loves to play with other dogs than they can play & party until the break of dawn, or if you've got yourself a bit of a lazy bones & they like to sun themselves on the deck all day, well that's fine too. I understand that I'm not only going to be caring for your pet, but a member of your family. I appreciate that some pet parents love & care for them as if they are their children. In fact, some may secretly like their pets more than their children, if that's the case that's just fine I'm not here to judge. (Either you've got some exceptionally awesome pets or some exceptionally terrible children) Jokes aside, I understand how important taking responsibility of your pet is & how important they are to you. I will not take charge of your four legged companion without all parties, including your pet, being as close to happy & content as paws-ible because let's face it, there's nothing I can do to make them as happy as they are then when they're with you. I try to be as flexible as possible because I do know that things change & I will do my best to accommodate your requests. If you would like to book a stay, & would like to do a meet & greet I recommend doing it at my house, I find it makes the most sense to have you & your pet come to the place where they will be staying. However I can make exceptions I understand being cautious about going to somebody's house or if it's a long distance we could possibly meet somewhere, We can also do a video chat & we can always text or make an old fashioned phone call. Please let me know what I can do to help alleviate any concerns or questions you may have. I’m a disabled veteran, and I work several nights a week overnight, but most of the time I’m home for most of the day. I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks and usually take two long walks a day, depending on the size of the dog. I’ve owned German Shepherds and Great Danes and a Cocker Spaniel. My girlfriend likes to bring her dog over and play with the different dogs I have under my care, and we like to take them to dog parks or dog bars and let them mingle and socialize with. When I have my kids, my son especially, loves to hug and cuddle dogs, and they tend to always sleep on the floor in front of the kids bunk beds. As I previously stated I will tailor my approach to your pet by taking cues from them and their behavior as to what they may want or need. Some animals are so easy & take separation from their owners as if they were never there. While some however do not take the initial separation well. However, I do feel possess the adequate knowledge, skills, & experience to help lessen those puppy cries. I have slept on the couch during a four night boarding because she did not like to sleep downstairs alone and would cry all night long. I will go above and beyond and do my best to provide usually 2x daily pictures or video, progress reports, and again I realize and understand that plans change. It’s not uncommon to modify a booking either shorter or longer depending on the circumstances.
“Katherine helped us out on short notice and was really thoughtful in taking care of our pup. We will be calling her again in the future. Good communication and prompt. Recommend.”

“Lindsay was amazing, attentive to our fur baby, and so kind! We will absolutely be using her again. Love that she provided photos of them playing to reassure us that our dog was being well taken care of.”

About: We have a well behaved 2 year old English cream doodle and 3 kids 7 to 11 who love to give your doodles some love. Come let your doodle play and run in our fenced in (almost 1 acre) backyard in the heart of south charlotte. I work from home and travel some but when I’m here I’m available to your pups all day. We have a resident pup lady who is my shadow. We’re available weekends and some weekdays. I have a fenced in yard and a friendly 30 lb English cream mini golden doodle to keep your fur baby company. I can also easily crate your dog if needed. My kids are begging for another dog so your pup will be sure to get lots of extra love!

Caroline was the first sitter I booked on Rover, and she IS the standard! She was fast to respond to my last-minute request, she communicated thoughtfully and precisely, and she provided excellent, loving care for my girl while I was away. I have full trust in her and will definitely book her again!

Elena did such a fantastic job watching our dog while we were gone for over a week. She sent very detailed notes and I felt so good knowing that our pup was well cared for while we were gone. 100% recommend and would definitely hire Elena again in a heartbeat :)!

Yajhayra was wonderful and took such good care of our sweet Steele and home. I knew from the moment I met Yajhayra we would not need to worry about Steele at all. She sent updates and pics every single day. Highly recommend and we will use again if we ever need her to watch Steele! 10+ STARS!!

Cathie took exceptional care of our 3 cats, feeding them twice a day and playing with them. She made sure the litter was cleaned on each visit and swept the floor of the litter tracking. The indoor and outdoor lights were switched on and off for safety. All food dishes were cleaned up and everything looked in order when we returned. Great communication during our trip. We felt our cats were in good hands and did not have to worry during our trip. Thank you Cathie!

Tesa was so friendly and attentive to Prince! She was timely and communicative and went above and beyond for Prince! She has a true passion for pets and that passion shines through in each interaction. Will definitely book with her again. If you're looking for someone to care for your furry baby, look no further. Thank you, Tesa!

Ella was so great with our cat! He can be shy and a little timid and warmed up to her immediately. Communication was awesome and we loved getting all of the cute pictures every day. Having Ella checking in while we were away gave us such peace of mind. We’d recommend her to anyone and will definitely be using her regularly!
