I'm not one to boast so I'll let one of my recent client reviews speak for me: From the very beginning, it was clear that our dogs were in the best possible hands. They instantly warmed up to her, and she treated them with the kind of love and attention you'd expect from a family member. She kept us updated with thoughtful messages and adorable photos, ensuring their routine was followed perfectly. It wasn't just about checking off tasks-she genuinely loved our dogs aS if they were her own, and that made all the difference. When we came home, the house was spotless, and our dogs were completely content. They adored her, and it is like they are still waiting for her to come back. Heather is wonderful. Can’t imagine putting our dog in a kennel vs having Heather stay at the house. It felt like having a family member take care of the dog but better because she also took such great care of the house as well. Her communication is excellent, she is thourough in both how she takes care of our dog and maintaining the house while we are away. We highly recommend Heather, whatever your circumstance.
Heather was absolutely awesome! She had very clear and considerate communication the entire time and took the best care of our dogs. She truly cares about your pets having a wonderful experience and makes sure you have nothing to worry about. She did a video chat and visit before her stay to make sure we were a good fit and let the dogs get to know her, which I really appreciated. She made sure she had all the information necessary to care for our doggies exactly how we wanted. She sent darling photos letting us know daily how they were enjoying their time playing lots of fetch. She also left our home in excellent condition and even handled our trash, mail, packages and emptying our dishwasher. She has our highest recommendation and will be our dog sitter as long as we live in Charlotte!

Heather provided both dog care and house sitting over multiple days. She provided incredible dog care, and did a great job looking after the house. Her communication, follow up, and attention to detail gave us great deal of relief that Lacey was in great hands with such a cable caregiver. I would highly recommend Heather for all aspects of pet care and house sitting. Heather, we look forward to your return for our next trip!
Heather watched Banks for five days while house sitting. She took him for walks, sent updated pictures of Banks, fed him and let him roam around the backyard often. Banks loved Heather and slept on bed with her at night. Heather even washed the sheets before she left. I would absolutely ask Heather to watch Banks again next time I am out if town.

Schedule
I currently work remotely part-time so I have the flexibility and freedom to help others. I enjoy animals, but enjoy traveling too much to get one of my own. That's one of the reasons why I love sitting is because I get to help others when they travel with their beloved pets. It's a nice, temporary swap and change.

With good instructions, I make a great sitter especially when given a checklist. I also appreciate a simple outline of the animals' routine so that I can keep their schedule and comfort levels high. I want the pet to feel like their owner went to run an errand and will be right back, even if they're actually gone for an extended period of time.

I love to make sure the dogs I'm watching are happy. If your dog enjoys playing with certain toys, loves to play fetch, enjoys the local dog park, or anything else please let me know so I can interact and show them the attention they enjoy.
