“I can't recommend Karyna enough! She recently stayed with my dog, Rosie, and the experience was absolutely wonderful. From our first interaction, Karyna was warm, professional, and incredibly attentive to Rosie’s needs and personality. Rosie can be a bit shy at first, but Karyna took the time to make her feel comfortable, and it was clear from all the updates that Rosie quickly felt at home with her. She went above and beyond to keep Rosie’s routine consistent and even spent extra time with her playing her favorite games and giving her belly rubs, which Rosie absolutely loved.”

About: Hi! My name is Anna! No dog of my own yet, but countless happy moments caring for friends’ and family’s pups! 🐕 Dog shelter volunteering – My husband and I regularly helped at a local shelter (socializing shy dogs, and mastering the art of ‘treat diplomacy’!) Being around dogs brings me so much joy, and I’d love to share that energy with your pet. Your furry friend will get the same warmth I give my ‘borrowed’ pets—tail wags guaranteed! I’m available for: Weekdays (Mon-Fri): 🌅 Early mornings (before 7 AM). 🌙 Evenings (after 7 PM). Weekends (Sat-Sun): 🕒 Full-day availability. My calendar is updated weekly - feel free to ask about specific dates! While I can’t care for pets in my own home, I provide attentive and customized care in yours—whether it’s crating for safety, gentle baths, or sticking to their routine. Your pet’s comfort and security are my top priorities, and I’ll always keep you updated with happy pet photos! 📸

“My dogs were happy and well behaved. I was psyched to see them and they greeted me well. Awesome trip. Great communication! Well worth a future reservation!”

About: I am a lifelong animal lover and have been caring for animals ever since I was a teenager. Today I am the proud mama of a 2 1/2 year-old standard poodle named Biscuit and a 7 year old Labradoodle named Bart, both male. A couple of years ago, my teenage daughters started babysitting and pet sitting in our neighborhood and naturally I got involved every now and then which has led me to Rover. Something interesting about our family is that our older dog, Bart, is a rescue and has quite the story! We drove to Ohio in August 2019 to pick him up and when we got back to Charlotte, he jumped our fence at the time and was missing for 4 months. We worked independently and with an animal tracker over the course of those months - setting up cameras where sightings were reported, setting up food traps, and plastering flyers all over Charlotte and Matthews. Then one day in December, all of our hard work paid off and a lovely woman was able to lure Bart into her yard with her own dogs. It has been a long road since then, but we are blessed to say that he has come a long way and is a very different dog than the one we picked up in Ohio all those years ago! That experience taught us so much and was a true testament to the power of determination and dedication. We truly believe that Bart was meant to be in our family. I am currently a stay at home mom of older kids so I have lots of time and flexibility to work with pet parents needs. I have a large fenced yard that has been reinforced because of 1 of our own dogs being an escape artist. We do not crate our own dogs just because we have not needed to and will allow any dogs staying with us to roam freely with our own, as long as the parents are comfortable with that. I strive to make animals feel at home in our home because I know the feeling that comes with having to leave your animals in someone else’s care.

“Asia and Darien were great with our pups! They were patient, attentive, playful with them even though sirius was very nervous. We received lots of photos and videos throughout the day of the dogs playing in the yard or chilling which is always the highlight of any vacation. We would definitely use them again in the future!”

About: I’ve walked neighbors dogs when they’re out of town and have visited dogs to feed them and let them out. I’ve also had a dog my entire life. I can walk or visit dogs anytime of the day. I can also pet sit. I’m on summer break so I’m very flexible with my hours. I make sure they are fed on time and get their proper meds on time. I also play with them and like to take them on walks.
