I’m currently a remote worker, so I have tons of flexibility for quality time with your furry loved ones. I also love to lead an active lifestyle, so walking your dogs fits right into my daily schedule that I already make time for. I have experience dog and cat sitting for my friends who own a variety of animals - young, large, elderly, sassy, sweet, and everything in between.

When I'm in my clients home, I take the time to understand their pet and their quirks, and do my best to stick to the schedule that they are used to for eating and walking. I stay attentive to their body language and how comfortable they are, and when they show they are comfortable with me, I give them all the affection and love they deserve. I'm also very respectful of my client's house and their belongings, treating your space as if it were my own and making sure to thoroughly clean up after myself and your animals.

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs, medical concerns, or any odd quirks I need to know about. For example, I was told in my debriefing with a client that her cat has a tendency to try and be an escape artist. This was helpful in making extra sure her cat was safe and inside the whole time, especially as I was transitioning between the garage.
A typical day
Your pets and I will have the most fun running around, going on walks, playing with their toys, and going over their commands that they know!

Hello, I'm Althea! I grew up with a family dog who unfortunately passed away in 2020, but I've been blessed to be a dog and cat aunt to my friends' furry children. I love being around animals and learning to speak their language - when I'm at somebody's home, you'll likely find me immediately trying to bond with their pet. Unfortunately, I don't have the resources right now to have my own animal friend, so I'd love to take care of your pet as if they were my own.

Althea always does a great job with Bailey. She gives updates whenever she drops in and lets us know if there is anything she needs. 15/10 would recommend.
If I could give Althea more than 5 ⭐️, I would! She truly went above and beyond with our needy, anxious pups. We’ve had several sitters, but no one has come close to the level of care she showed—not just for our dogs, but for our home as well. One of our pups doesn’t do well with strangers, but in no time he was cuddling with her, which gave me so much confidence that he was in good hands. She was always punctual and kept the dogs on their regular feeding schedule. She sent picture and text updates that made it easy to relax while we were away. She even sent a final message to wrap up her time, which I really appreciated. We came home to happy dogs and a spotless house. Althea is responsive, responsible, and genuinely caring. We would absolutely love to have her sit for us again!
Althea is the best! She was amazing with our dog and treated him like her own! She sent us plenty of pics and updates, which gave us total peace of mind 🥰 We came home to a calm, happy pup and a spotless house! I can’t recommend her enough. We definitely won’t hesitate to book her again!!!
Althea is a God send! She goes so above and beyond every tine she keeps our girlies! We have two older dogs who both need special care and we have never felt more comfortable leaving them with a sitter than we do leaving them with Althea!
