“Nataly was so patient with Link when she stepped in on short notice to take him for a few walks during the day. She sat with him and made him feel comfortable until he felt ok and safe enough to walk on a leash with her. About: I adore animals, and always want you to trust that your precious dog or cat is comfortable, safe, and happy while you’re away. I’ve been a pet owner most of my life. I grew up with dogs, hamsters, and fish, and have pet-sat dogs and cats since childhood. I care for several friends’ and neighbors’ dogs, both young and elderly, both in and out of my home. I have experience caring for a friend’s older rescue pup, working her way through trauma and trust issues, who has slowly warmed up to me. My family of five humans currently have a beloved dog, Sunny, and sweet little hamster, Poppy. My children are in school full time, so I have a lot of free time for drop-ins, walks, daycare, and boarding. I enjoy time in my house and yard, playing with my dog, as well as taking walks, so dogs are the perfect companions! I have a fenced-in yard, and let my dog outside throughout the day and evening (although she prefers being inside!). I also have gates that can be used to limit access to certain rooms or stairs as needed. I will use a crate if requested by a client, or if one if necessary for a visiting dog’s safety, anxiety, or comfort when I’m not present. I typically only board or provide daycare for up to two dogs at a time. On occasion I may have an overlap of a dog from a new family along with one of my regulars, but will always inform both owners ahead of the stay. About: I have personal experience with cats but have watched several family members/friends dogs when needed. My children pet sat and I would accompany them. I love to learn about what makes them unique and I truly love to walk them. I work part-time from home so I have a lot of flexibility. Heavier schedule the 2nd-15th of the month. My children are grown and live out of time, so I have a lot more extra time. Since we have an older cat living with us, I would need to dog/cat sit at the clients house. In an emergency, I could see what I could do.

I’ve got extensive experience with these guys, and my love for these animals runs deep! I’m currently self-employed, so my schedule is very flexible for visiting or playing with your pets! The best times to schedule me are between 8am and 8pm, but I am open to other hours with planning in advance. :) I have a screened in yard, as well as 2 crates for small dogs and cats, comfy beds, and toys for them to play with! I also have treats and a dedicated space within my home for them to relax in.

“This was one of the BEST Rover.com experiences I've had since using the service. Cheryl was prompt in responding to my urgent need for "same day" service. She was so accommodating to our" Jade" who is naturally nervous and is elderly w/a touch of arthritis. She communicated regularly w/updates an cute pics during Jade's stay and even calmed her down w/her favorite back rub when someone in the neighborhood decided to shoot fireworks that night. Kudos to you Cheryl!!”

“Joanna welcomed Daisy our English Cream golden retriever into her home. This was Daisy’s first time away from her family and we were very nervous to leave her. Joanna helped Daisy feel very comfortable which included her in play time with the family and her dog Sonny slept downstairs with Daisy. Joanna sent us pictures and messages multiple times during the day throughout her 5 day stay to let us know how Daisy was doing . She worked with Daisy in keeping her routine the same as home. I would 100 percent recommend Joanna to take care of your dog!”

She was so great with them and they came home happy and healthy. She communicated well and was super responsive, sharing pictures and videos that put my mind at ease while we were away. “Christie is awesome! My pup has gotten anxious since COVID started, and he’s quite a homebody. He doesn’t like staying at large facilities. While we were gone for 10 days, Christie sent daily pics of my boy, and he was so happy in her home. I didn’t worry about him there at all, and he transitioned well when he came back home…the biggest compliment for her. Will definitely take my pup back!”
