“Mitzi was absolutely wonderful with our little Ellie! Our girl is a puppy mill rescue and an anxious girlie, and she did so great and felt so comfortable with Mitzi, her family, and their dogs. Mitzi sent lots of updates with pictures and videos, which is perfect for the first time. We highly recommend her!!”

“Kristien has taken great care of Elli multiple times now and each time I get back a happy pup who sleeps soundly throughout the nigh!. Elli has made a great friend with thier pup Megan and, especially considering we are a single pup household, it's awesome to see that she has her home away from home during these formative years of her life ❤️”

“Once again, Kaya had a great time and was in good hands! Exceptional care and flexibility when I needed it due to recent weather events and unexpected delays. Thank you SO much!”

“Jackie was amazing looking after my dog! She and her family treated my dog like he was part of the family! Jackie was very easy to work with, very professional, and it’s easy to tell she has a passion for animals! I will definitely be using her services again!”

About: For my husband and me, caring for dogs is a deep-seated passion. Our world revolves around their happiness and well-being. We started this journey because we believe every dog deserves to feel safe, cherished, and right at home, even when their favorite people are away. When your dog stays with us, they become a temporary, but much-loved, member of our family. As a husband-and-wife team, pet care is the heart of our household's daily rhythm. Our days are structured around our furry guests, including morning and evening walks, dedicated playtime, and consistent feeding times. Because we're a team, there is always someone home, ensuring your dog receives constant companionship and attention. Their routine truly guides our day. Our number one priority is creating a safe, secure, and loving environment. We do not have a fenced yard, but we do take them for a walk all the time (always when needed). We treat every dog like a member of our family, with plenty of affection. To build trust, we maintain your dog's specific routine and send you daily photo and video updates, giving you complete peace of mind that they are happy and in responsible hands.

“Dakota has only been with Bonnie for one week and she is so happy (and super tired when she gets home). I appreciate Bonnie’s status messages and videos, throughout the day - especially, the first one to put a “dog mom’s” nerves to rest. Appreciate Bonnie and her care, so very much! ❤️”

“We have been using Craig for over a year and our dog is in love with going over. She even knows his name and always enjoys herself. He is the most accommodating, flexible, and easy to work with. Big ups to Craig”

About: I’ve always grown up with dogs, and so have my children. We have fostered with local rescues and helped friends and family with dog sitting needs. We have a fenced in yard and plenty of space to entertain your best friends! I am currently home full time, so can be totally flexible with scheduling. Looking forward to filling some of our time with extra doggo love! I have 3 teenage daughters who love to walk, brush, bathe, and play with dogs of all kinds, but are also responsible and understanding enough to give space to quieter or more senior animals. I also have 2 dogs of my own. Petunia is super friendly and especially loves puppies as she thinks they’re all her babies! Sofie loves to play with lots of friends! I work from home full time so will be with your babies all the time! I can be very flexible with scheduling and lengths of stay. I have a fenced in yard and plenty of space. I can crate if needed, but will be home and available during their stay if they are like my dogs and prefer to lounge with me on the couch.

“Mazikeen had such a great time with Hannah! She was so tired at the end of the day. We signed up for doggie day care. I definitely plan on using her services again in the future.”

About: Top tier sitting for tiny tail waggers!! I have had small dogs my whole life. To say they are loved and pampered in our family is an understatement. I do not have a dog of my own in the house right now or any other animals. Your prince or princess would be doted on and loved while you’re away. I’m semi- retired and spend most of my time at home working part time or out in the yard and garden. When the weather permits I walk the neighborhood. When there are errands, I love 4 legged company. Your pet will get lots of love and attention. I will follow your instructions if there is a routine or specific need - special food, shouldn’t be on the furniture, or any other rules.

About: I sometimes feel like a dog/cat whisper. I have a very calm nature and I think dogs/cats can really pick up on this. I have had animals of my own but could no longer afford the monetary funds it takes to care for dogs and cats. I am a retired active senior citizen and I have a lot of spare time I would love to devote to dog/cat boarding or walking. When I do care for dogs/cats in my home, I try to make sure they feel I care for them and snuggle and hold them, if I am allowed by the animal. I always wait to see if they have sniffed me and that lets me know they are or are not accepting of me.

About: I’ve had dogs growing up all my life , and have my own dog currently ! I watch all of my friend’s dogs as my dog loves company, and I work from home most of the time . I am attentive and loving as I believe it takes a village to support animals ! I work mostly from home , with having to leave occasionally to go out into the field . My dogs needs are prioritized and when home she is let out to play or be outside every hour or more . I have a fenced in yard and one fur baby to keep your dog company! Xena is very friendly and loves to play, while also respecting boundaries of the dogs she is with .

About: Hello! Let me tell you a little bit about why your puppies and I should hang out! I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember, dogs especially! I am the person who stops a conversation to say “look a dog!”. Over the years I’ve learned many different skills including but not limited to.. dog behavior/body language, dogs with disabilities, basic medication and training. I’ve been pet sitting for friends and neighbors alike for many years and recently had the opportunity to work more directly with behavior and care needs to hone in my skills even more. I’m very comfortable with all breeds, sizes and ages. There is a saying “everyone believes that they have the best dog in the world and everyone is right”. With this in mind your pets are the best and will receive the same love and care as my own! Rover is my full time career so your pets and I will hang out all day and night together! Your pets routine is very important! Your animals safety is number one priority. You will receive regular updates and photos and if there is anything specific to your pets a written description would be greatly appreciated so everyone is on the same page

About: I’ve had dogs all my life, from childhood family pets, to dogs of my own. We’ve always treated them like part of our family, with lots of attention, care & love (walking, playing, feeding & bathing). I have a very open and flexible schedule that allows me to be home & available during the week as needed. I can work with your schedule. I have a fenced in back yard, currently no pets, and 2 children ages 16 & 11 who are also really great with pets (here every other week). Plenty of space for a crate (if needed), but lots of room to play, relax and watch endless birds & squirrels outside too. We offer a very peaceful, organized & clean indoor environment, classical music, with lots of attention, affection and playtime. Bathing & extra pampering if requested.

About: I’ve had a variety of pets from the age of 4! From dogs & cats to rabbits, chinchillas & bunnies. They’re like another family member and I’ve always loved taking care of them as such. My grandmother grew up on a farm & helped me learn everything about taking care of animals, so I hope with the experience and care she’s taught me, I can give them that same warm home away from home feeling. I am completely remote in my job. I work from home 5 days a week from 10am- about 6pm EST. My job is based in Mountain time. It is VERY flexible, and I would be able to take out any dogs as often as needed. I live in a townhome with 2 cats who have been around other animals. They are completely up to date with shots & both are spayed/neutered! I can take out any puppies at any time as my neighborhood is pet friendly.

Elaine F.
“Elaine would be a wonderful pet sitter. She has a true love of animals. She is responsible and caring in whatever she does. Elaine will make a great addition to the rover team.”

Hannah M.

“Mazikeen had such a great time with Hannah! She was so tired at the end of the day. We signed up for doggie day care. I definitely plan on using her services again in the future.”

Aimee M.
“I love Aimee, and so do my dogs! I swear I think they want me to leave just so she can come over and play. The first thing I noticed was how she approached each dog differently the first time they met her. Timid Bear (the biggest one) got an outstretched hand and a friendly voice, leaving it his choice. Stately, subdued Honey got ear scritches and belly rubs with copious reminders of what a beautiful girl she is. Exhuberant Poppy got a rowdy push and pull with the toy she brought over. It was just wonderful, and let me know that all my babies were in good hands. When we're away, she often sends me pictures and videos of the dogs - often the ones of Poppy are selfies with Aimee just out of frame because Poppy is sitting on her shoulder. We come home to calm, well-cared for dogs, and we leave home without worries. I can NOT recommend her strongly enough!”

Brenda M.
“Brenda is the perfect pet sitter! She is very kind and caring and attentive to my dearest cat Louie. She has cared for him more than a few times while I was out ofthe country. She loves working with animals and has her own special way of communicating with them to understand their needs! Highly recommend her for your next Pet walker/pet sitter!”

Milika C.

“Milika was very flexible with my pups needs which is much appreciated and they were well taken care of.”

Amber D.
“Amber is absolutely amazing! She takes amazing care of her own pup, and I would trust her with mine without any hesitation (and that says something!) She’s patient and kind and will treat any dog in her care like they’re her own. You won’t regret letting Amber watch your fur baby!”

Heather M.
“Heather has done a wonderful job taking care of our dogs. One of our pets is older with special needs. It gives us such peace of mind to know that our dog is able to stay in our home and get such tender care from Heather while we are away. I would highly recommend Heather’s pet care services to anyone.”

Kayla M.

“Kayla was great! Super communicative and accommodating at my last minute change. She clearly loved my fur baby and took such great care of her! Will absolutely book again!”

Krisztina K.
“Krisztina is a very compassionate, loving person. She has previously owned pets in the past & watched various others, including my dogs (which absolutely loved her company). No matter what breed, age, size, or type of pet it is, they always seem drawn to her. She has such a motherly nature and can immediately calm down any pet. She makes it clear how much she loves animals and enjoys spending time with them. I highly recommend her!”

Jada B.
“Hello, I first like to say Jada is one of the most caring young ladies I’ve seen. Especially with animals. Jada is most definitely a cat and dog lover. This would not surprise me at all. She is dedicated to loving animals.”

Tanika W.

“Tanika was great. I loved the pictures that she shared and updates throughout the day. Definitely will come back if ever need to. In will recommend.”

Susannah B.

“She sent pictures and updates for our pup throughout the day. No complaints here. Very nice and attentive.”

Lauren & Jacob W.

Wendell dog parents share their Rover experiences
Mitzi and her family were friendly and accommodating early on a Friday. They invited myself and my partner in to meet everyone and show us around. I felt comfortable with leaving Scooter in their care. I got pics and updates throughout the day. This was/is a great experience and we will ask for Mitzi’s help again. We recommend

Mitzi did an amazing job watching our dog Chloe. Chloe is always nervous seeing new people. Mitzi helped introducing Chloe into the house at Chloe's pace. Mitzi was able to tell when Chloe was ready for the next step of exploring more of the house and meet the other dogs. The picture updates were a nice reassurance for us to know everything was going well. We definitely recommend Mitzi as a dog sitter! We will be bringing Chloe back again!!!!
