About: I sometimes feel like a dog/cat whisper. I have a very calm nature and I think dogs/cats can really pick up on this. I have had animals of my own but could no longer afford the monetary funds it takes to care for dogs and cats. I am a retired active senior citizen and I have a lot of spare time I would love to devote to dog/cat boarding or walking. When I do care for dogs/cats in my home, I try to make sure they feel I care for them and snuggle and hold them, if I am allowed by the animal. I always wait to see if they have sniffed me and that lets me know they are or are not accepting of me.

Throughout the years, I've cared for various breeds, each with unique personalities and requirements, which has equipped me with the skills to handle different temperaments and situations. My commitment to providing loving and attentive care ensures that each dog feels safe and valued in my environment. In addition to basic care like feeding, grooming, and exercise, I've also been actively involved in training and socializing dogs, helping them develop good manners and confidence. This hands-on experience has not only enriched my life but has also fostered a genuine passion for helping dogs thrive. I live alone and work from home with my best friend Ollie, a 3 1/2 year old terrier/lab mix. Ollie loves other dogs and is a great companion for any dog that likes to play. chase, and sniff the world! I'm new in the Rover scene, but trust me, your dog will be well cared for and have a wonderful time! I work from home full-time so I am always here. Dogs are allowed to relax wherever they prefer in my home and my goal is for them to be as comfortable in my home, as they are in theirs. I have an enormous fenced in yard great for sniffing, exploring, and zooming! My buddy Ollie will be happy to show you around the yard and chase your pup whenever he or she wants!

“Jessica is an absolute gem! She took good care of Riley and sent lots of photo updates while I had to fly out to California for the day. I really enjoyed seeing them and it made me feel comfortable knowing Riley was in good hands and having fun. Her dog River is very friendly and sweet! Riley and her played well together. This was my first experience using Rover and I had many questions–Jessica was very patient with me and even agreed to a meet and greet prior to make sure our dogs got a long well. About: I worked for sixteen of those 20 years for a Veterinary radiologist. I have done a lot of pet sitting here at my house, and I have made a lot of home visits. I have gone to homes for 20 years. I still take care of some of those animals. I live out in the country with 1 1/2 acres of fenced in yard with doggy door and screened in back porch. Dogs love to come here. Our place has been called, “The country Retreat” for pets. My children love to play with our visitors, and pets love to come back. I know a lot about animals. This is the perfect place for your pets to come play and have a wonderful time while your on vacation or attending to important business.

About: Top tier sitting for tiny tail waggers!! I have had small dogs my whole life. To say they are loved and pampered in our family is an understatement. I do not have a dog of my own in the house right now or any other animals. Your prince or princess would be doted on and loved while you’re away. I’m semi- retired and spend most of my time at home working part time or out in the yard and garden. When the weather permits I walk the neighborhood. When there are errands, I love 4 legged company. Your pet will get lots of love and attention. I will follow your instructions if there is a routine or specific need - special food, shouldn’t be on the furniture, or any other rules.

I have 3 teenage daughters who love to walk, brush, bathe, and play with dogs of all kinds, but are also responsible and understanding enough to give space to quieter or more senior animals. I work from home full time so will be with your babies all the time! I can be very flexible with scheduling and lengths of stay. I have a fenced in yard and plenty of space. I can crate if needed, but will be home and available during their stay if they are like my dogs and prefer to lounge with me on the couch.

About: Hi! I have been taking care of dogs since I was 8 through Rover. I started with my mom who eventually took over when I left for college. I am now back in Wake Forest and wanted to restart my business. Since my mom has taken over my old business, I unfortunately can not watch dogs at our house. I can however, do doggy drop in’s, take them on walks, or if it is comfortable for you, I would house sit. Please let me know if you have any questions! I can’t wait to meet your babies! I am currently an orthodontic assistant in Raleigh. My work weeks are kind of all over of the place with days off, but my normal schedule is Monday-Thursday 8:30-5. I send pictures everyday to help you relax on your vacation. I am not a messy person so I will do all the dishes that I use. I do not leave food out that I am not eating.
