About: I sometimes feel like a dog/cat whisper. I have a very calm nature and I think dogs/cats can really pick up on this. I have had animals of my own but could no longer afford the monetary funds it takes to care for dogs and cats. Then when we get back inside I give them their treat and then I rinse out their water dish and give them fresh water. Then I do anything else I was asked to do for that specific pet like change puppy pads etc. Then If the pet has toys and likes to play i'll usually play with them for a bit before I leave by throwing their toy or tug of war or whatever they like.

I also work part time in food service but my schedule is flexible and can be adjusted as needed. I care for every animal and pet like they are my own. I show them all equal love and attention and pay close attention to body language and signals that animals give. I respect animals and work with them so they feel comfortable and safe with me!
About: I have been working in boarding facilities for over 3 years and I have been pet sitting for about 2 years. I absolutely love pets and enjoy spending time with them. I have experience in administering medication, dog training, walks and house sitting. I work at a boarding facility where I am with many pets daily in a daycare setting or just providing basic care as far as walking them, feeding and medicating them, keeping log of how they are potting and of course giving them lots of snuggles. I am soon going back to school and looking for a way to continue to do something I enjoy while being in school. When I visit your pets in your home my main goal is to provide the same amount of care and be very attentive as if they were my pet. I ensure the pets remain comfortable and abide by house rules (maybe not allowed to be on furniture or not allowed in certain rooms) while giving them lots of love and snuggles.

But Judy was incredibly sweet and so was her puppy. Bennie was well taken care of and I got lots of pictures. She has a very nice fenced in yard and lets the dogs come and go as they please. “My family and I were preparing to head out of town for my birthday when we realized, in the middle of all the planning, that we had forgotten to schedule a sitter for Oakley. Like any dog mom would, I immediately went to Rover and was pleasantly surprised to see several sitters available. I reached out to a few profiles, and Rebecca D. responded right away, which immediately gave me peace of mind. Rebecca was incredibly kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with. We quickly coordinated a plan for dropping Oakley off, and the process was seamless. When we arrived, Rebecca was already outside waiting for us and gave clear instructions on where to park. She even invited us inside, which we politely declined, but I thought it was such a thoughtful gesture. Prior to our arrival, she also shared information about her dog’s temperament, which I really appreciated. Throughout the weekend, Rebecca kept us updated with photos and videos of Oakley, which made us feel so comfortable while we were away. When we picked him up, he was excited to see us, but it was also obvious that he had a wonderful time with her. Oakley came home happy, and we are so thankful for the care Rebecca provided.
