About: I have watched dogs and cats for the last 20+ years for family members and friends. Recently I have been watching senior doggos that require a bit more attention. Whether that be providing medicines or being patient with their routine. My goal is to make your pet feel as comfortable and stress free as possible. My wife helps out from time to time. She will occasionally accompany me for meet and greets, but she mostly acts as a backup. We will let you know when booking if she will be helping out or not. She also has 20+ years of experience with pets. Working from home with a very flexible schedule. If your house as good wifi, I can hang around nearly all day. Can also spend nights if needed. Available most weeks, but do travel from time to time. Prefer to watch pets in their own environment to limit their stress levels. For cats, I typically will spend nearly all day with them, or at the very least, visit twice per day for a an hour or two depending on how social the cat is. The more social, the more time I will hang around and provide the cat company. If a cat is not very social or doesn't like company, I'll cover the basics of feeding, watering, changing litter, ensuring the cat is alive and well, but will provide the cat their space.

About: Hi, I'm Rachel! I grew up in Alexandria, Virginia but recently moved back after living in the UK for 5 years! While moving back, I did bring my 4 year old Basset Hound/Labrador mix - Bruce - with me! I grew up around dogs, and have never been without one. Personally, I wouldn't know a life without a dog or a cat. Life is too quiet. This is why I began to dally in pet care, because I know just how important a pet is, and they deserve company, care, love and play at all times. I currently work part-time at a small store, but am also using my free time to write my first book! I just moved back to the Alexandria area with my own dog, and love learning about new walking routes. In my home, pets are allowed on the furniture and spoiled rotten. I have a basket of toys that is always open, and have a variety of different treats or different dietary needs.

About: Hi and welcome to our page! We are Clayton and Sarah - a husband-wife duo. We are pawrents to 3 special needs cats and Sarah is a registered nurse for humans. We also foster cats who often need extra TLC through an animal rescue. We have experience administering medication to cats and paying careful attention to any changes to their behavior/physical exam. We use fear-free techniques like squeeze treat bribery to accomplish the care that needs to occur. We have cared for cats with upper respiratory infections, constipation, FELV/FIV, and reduced appetite. We are experienced working with cats who have a range of personalities and behaviors (from scared to feisty to barely socialized). If your cat needs care that we don’t have experience with, we're confident we will be able to figure it out with you! We work Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm. We are available to cat sit before and after our work hours as well as on the weekend or on holidays. We will visit your home and care for your cats as if they are our own. We know how stressful it can be to leave our cats when we are out of town, especially given their complex routine and medical peculiarities. If you share that concern, we want you to feel confident leaving your cats with their routine unchanged under our care. We are also happy to care for cats with less complex routines as well! We typically play with cats before their meal and then feed them. We also make sure their litter boxes are clean and refresh their water bowls. We like to hang out with cats after their meal for snuggles.
