About: I have been an animal lover all of my life! I grew up in the country and was always responsible for taking care of my pets. I worked for a DVM at a local animal hospital for 7 years. I am a mom (my children are grown now) and am punctual and reliable. I currently have 2 dogs and 1 cat, but would have 100 more pets if I could! I currently work nights but have most of my days free. I would love to spend some of my free time hanging out with your pets! I love giving cuddles and pets, taking dogs for walks, and playing. I will always leash your animals when out walking and keep their safetyas my top priority.

About: I just graduated from the University of Maine studying animal sciences on the pre vet track. I have had animals my whole life but since I have gotten here I have began to work with other animals such as cows and horses. I currently have a job working at a farm. However the job allows me to have a pretty flexible schedule that allows me to take care of animals outside of the farm. I also take care of a family’s horses and someone’s dog. For my clients I feed their animals and let them out on a walk. For the horses I feed them, clean there stalls and let them out to run around.

About: I am a retired Police Officer and a Red Cross Volunteer looking for something to do that I enjoy. I have been a pet owner for 40 plus years, mostly dogs but also have had a few cats. I travel a lot and know how nice it is when you have someone you trust to care for your pets and also keep an eye on your home at the same time. I am an avid exerciser so I love to get out and walk and would love to have your pets join me. My days are pretty much open so my availability is very flexible. So if you are looking for trustworthiness, reliability and someone to put your mind at ease I believe you have found that person. Look forward to hearing from you.

About: I have had cats my whole life, including my two current kitties - Barney and Peggy. I have a very caring nature, and have always loved all animals. I will treat and care for your pets as though they are my own. I am a full-time teacher, so weekends and week nights work best for me during the school year. In the summer and on school holidays, my schedule is much more open! I will care for your pets the way you would care for them yourself. I currently have a senior cat named Barney and a recently adopted orange cat of around 7 years old named Westley. They have bonded very nicely despite Barney being set in his ways. I have also had a three-legged cat named Peggy, and I loved and cared for her in the specific ways that she needed.

“Mia walked my pup Cooper during a heat wave. When she got back with him, the power was out, so she stayed for an extra 20 minutes to make sure Cooper was safe and as comfortable as possible. Thanks so much, Mia!”

“Carolyn is the best! She's so caring and good with our puppy! So grateful for her!”

About: PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL ANIMALS ARE KID FRIENDLY. I HAVE TWO CHILDREN AGES 9 AND 11 ! My name is Alexandra and am currently located in Rochester/Irondequoit area. I have grown up around all types of animals from cats to dogs, birds, reptiles and fish, even raising a puppy. The main animals I grew up around were both cats and dogs. In my past I have worked at an animal store and had some experience as a pet sitter also. I live with my daughter who is well behaved and also an animal lover. I presently only have two small caged cockatiel birds and am able to move them anywhere in the house if needed to provide more space or comfort for your pets. I am willing to work with other certain types of animals if interested please don’t hesitate to ask. I look forward to working together and meeting all of your animals! I am available Monday to Sunday and some holidays morning to night time (flexible schedule) and willing to work with you for extended times or days I provide a calm and quiet environment. My neighborhood is also quiet and calm when taken outside for walks or to go to the bathroom. I make sure they do not interact with other animals outside of my home and the animals I do have in my home are small and caged in a separate room where the door is always closed. I do not have any other dogs or cats and I do not board from different people at the same time.

“It was our first time having Emily come and take our dog for a walk. Everything went great and she sent lots of pictures.”

“Samantha was great! She kept me updated every step of the way and is very flexible. She brought her daughter which was great because my dogs absolutely love kids! Unfortunately my fearful rescue was a bit uncooperative but I do still plan on rebooking with her after we do a meet and greet so Ellie can get more comfortable (this was absolutely not Samantha’s fault, Ellie was a mill mom for 5 yrs and experienced horrendous treatment so she can be leary of new ppl esp in her home if im not there). Thanks for helping me out w my pups today while I worked a long day :)”

About: I have 10 years of experience in the pet industry from Dog Walking & Pet sitting to grooming, retail and pet nutrition. Dogs are my life long love. I currently share my home with my 2 year old golden retriever, my 6 year old daughter and my husband. Besides clients’ dogs and cats, I have taken care of many friends and family members’ pets as well over the years. Taking care of dogs and cats are my true therapy. I love to take walks with the pups, trips to the parks, and do yard romps; enrichment toys & activities. I am currently a stay at home mom. I am available for midday walks and drop in visits for your fur babies. During those visits we can manage a long walk, or a yard romp, all depending on your dog's needs. Pups that stay with me have to be friendly with children and other dogs. Please contact me in advance for boarding as I like to set up a free Meet & Great visit so your pup and I can get to know each other as well as my other family members. Unfortunately I am not able to board aggressive or reactive dogs.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes, as well as cats! Pet sitting, dog walking, basic grooming, litter box cleaning, and administrating medication are all skills I have experience with. I also have experience with Guinea pigs. I absolutely love animals! I work full time during the school year and am unavailable during that time, but I will be available during summer and holidays. My availability during breaks will be very open. I will base my care of your pet on your usual routine to keep them as comfortable as possible in your home! I will be respectful of your space and only go in the necessary rooms and use what is needed to take care of your pet.

About: Hello! I know leaving your pet can be a stressful experience but I am here to take that stress away! I have years of experience with dogs and cats and have many years of pet-sitting experience. I am able to giving medicine orally and through shots, along with having experience with a disabled dog. Please reach out with any questions! I work part time from home so have a lot of availability during the early afternoon and early evenings! I can also step out and help in the AMs during work as well. I am a very active person, so running around and playing with active dogs is my favorite thing to do. I promise to love and take care of your pets as if they were my own!

About: I have owned dogs for over 25 years. I often help out neighbors who go out of town and would like to expand to include boarding in my home or yours. We lost our beloved Toby last May and decided a few months later that from here on out we want to adopt senior dogs. That first opportunity came sooner than we anticipated, and we've had our sweet Martha since October. I work close to home and am able to provide mid-day walks and exercise as I come home each day to do the same for my own dog. I work in education and am home full time during the summer! During the school year I am also home over school breaks and weekends and come home daily during my lunch hour. This gives me time for about a 20 minute walk. If it's pouring rain I'll take your dog out for a quick potty break and make sure s/he is toweled off with a fresh, clean towel. Although I do not have a fenced in yard, I love to walk several miles each day with my dog, and would love to do the same with yours! It is the beginning of May and I am just getting started with my new endeavor. I completely understand owners' hesitancy to book with sitters who don't have many reviews. My hope is to build that trust over the next months. I think if you do a meet and greet with me, you'll feel at ease leaving your loved pup with me.

About: I have taken care of all kinds of animals for as long as I can remember! I grew up with dogs cats, and a variety of small animals. I also work with dogs professionally. At my job, I take care of all kinds of dogs including puppies, deaf, blind, and senior dogs. Additionally, I have experience with giving baths, nail trims, and giving medications. I am currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to come watch your dogs! I am available most days to pop in to check on your dog or go on a 20-30 minute walk. I will care for your dog as I would for mine. I have three dogs at home, so I do not offer boarding at my house. If you have any specific requests for your dog, just let me know and I will follow them to the best of my abilities!

About: I've owned cats my entire life. I've been around dogs for the majority of my life as well. I have dog and cat sat for many friends. I also had a recurring job as a dog sitter and daily dog walker for my high school principal. I currently have two cats of my own and my parents have a dog that I have also watched on many occasions. I've even been a cat sitter for a friend who fosters cats and that included taking care of 15 cats at once! I can also care for guinea pigs if need be. I've never watched bunnies, but with instruction from the owner, I can certainly care for them too. I can't care for snakes, sorry, they freak me out. I'm currently employed at a 9-5 job, but it's remote with flexible hours. I love playing with animals and am very good at tiring out energetic pups. If I'm pet sitting for you or walking your dog, you can trust that you'll get your money's worth and your pet will be cared for like it was my own fur-baby. Typically whoever I'm sitting for will let me know what kind of house "rules" or routines are done with their pets and I stick to those. Whether that's a specific walking route, only being allowed in certain rooms, not being allowed on the furniture, whatever. When it comes down to it, I want your pet to feel comfortable and happy even though they're favorite people (their family) aren't around.
