“Brandi was awesome! She kept me updated and was a very good communicator. She was very flexible and even kept him for an extra day! Our pup was so happy to stay with her family, and got lots of love. I’m very thankful I found her!”

“Jessie is the most amazing sitter she is so attentive to your pet. She pays close attention to his eating and bathroom. She does everything possible to comfort him and pet him. Her care is beyond and above any I have ever heard about. She even made him treats and special food. Amazing!”

“Samantha is an attentive, thoughtful, and engaged host - the BEST in the area! Sent plenty of pictures and kept me updated on his behavior and play with other dogs in their care. I hope to be trusting her again with him soon!”

“Brook was so sweet to our Max. She is a loving pet sitter. We felt like he had such special attention. Max does not eat too much when we are gone. She gave him his food and made sure he got what he would eat. We appreciate all she did for us to make us feel comfortable leaving him with her. The pictures she sent were so cute and they made us feel like he was enjoying himself. Barbara”

“Maria and her husband were awesome. I felt my puppy was in a safe and happy place and was truly cared for. The other dogs who were boarding looked happy as well. Maria communicated well, kept me updated, shared a photo and video. I would book with her again.”

About: I have experience with all breeds big or small, all ages they are well cared for. I own a two year old German shepherd mix, she loves play and looks forward to making new friends. I will keep up with the schedule you have them set on, and I can administer medication/ ointment. I’m a navy reservist so my schedule is flexible, breakfast is served around 8. Then a morning walk around 9, there’s a park in my apartment so we can stop there hangout till 930. Around noon they’ll be taken out again and they’ll be out till about 1pm. The rest day will be filled with enrichment activities, and lots of playing. Dinner is served around 530-6. And they’ll be let out one more time around 7, hangout for an hour or so. Then they’ll be crated around 830-9. There is a dog park located at my apartment complex, they’ll have free access to. I’ll take them to a much bigger area to go run and play. And we’ll go on longer walks.
“It was my first time using Rover and I loved it! She is attentive and understanding. You can tell she loves the animals that she takes care of. With it being my first time away from my dog, especially with Maxi being under the care of a stranger, I was worried and have been missing her even more. Genesis gave me updates and sent me pictures of Maxi, which calmed my nerves. 10/10 would definitely book again!”

“They were amazing! Henry was very cared for and loved. We received lots of photos and messages updating us on his care and how he was doing. 10000/10 would recommend.”

“Sam and Cole have been absolutely amazing! Can’t forget about their sweet pup Remi as well. All the photos that they sent my dog had the biggest smile on his face 😊 i appreciate them treating my dog as if he was one of theirs. I will without a doubt rebook with them in the future!”

“Rachel and Logan and the absolute best! Our golden retriever Hank loves going to play and stay with them and they pups when we are out of town. He always has a blast and we can rest assured knowing that he is in great hands. Rachel sends pictures and videos each day (as many as you want) to let us know what he’s up to. I especially love that she is home with the dogs during the day and Hank gets so much time to play. He plays all day with her two labs (who are so sweet and fun to play with). If you are considering a pet sitter these are the best people for the job!”

“Bennie loves Becca. I love knowing that he is so well taken care of when I'm away. Thank you Becca! She even dressed him for Halloween and had him help with Thick-or-Treaters! I could not ask for a better sitter. Luv you Becca!”

“Amber was so kind from answering questions as a first time customer to staying connected through the whole staying. She sent pictures and updates throughout the day. She was gentle with our babyboy. We will definitely recommend and use her again. Thank you Amber!”

“Rachelle was a good find for Bailey. I’m pretty sure I know why my dog gets up against me and rolls over on her back. She’s been spoiled. I can’t run her belly enough. Lol. I will definitely be using her again.”

“Mary has cared for and treated our pups very well. She treats our babies as her own, and there’s no better feeling than when your pups want to rush into someone else’s house, knowing it may be a couple days before they see us.”

“Payton took great care of our baby while we were out of town. She was very communicative and sent us lots of updates with pictures. We felt at ease that our pup was being cared for well.”

“Very satisfied overall with the experience. Provided regular updates and communication. Caution: Your little one may come back extra happy and spoiled from the love and attention/affection received. Looked very happy in the pics. Smiling Thank you Miss Mary and Mr. Felix for taking care of Max”

“Tamika was absolutely wonderful! Considering this was such a last minute boarding, and it was our dog’s first time, she was awesome. Milo did have a little accident biting at his cage due to stress but Tamika was the best when it came to calling and texting us immediately after it happened and sending us plenty of photos & updates through out the rest of his stay. We would absolutely book with her again and can’t recommend her enough.”

“Kelly took excellent care of our dog and he had tons of fun! She sent pics and videos daily to let us know how he was doing. Highly recommend and would allow her to keep our furry friend again.”

“I had a great experience with Aliyah on Rover! She was very informative from the start and made me feel completely comfortable leaving Milo in her care. Throughout the stay, she kept me consistently updated with messages, pictures, and videos, which really gave me peace of mind. It was clear that Milo was being well cared for and getting plenty of attention. Aliyah is also a very sweet and kind person, and you can tell she genuinely loves animals. Wow. Just amazing. Nicole is a very caring and attentive dog sitter. This was my first time using Rover/dog sitter and I couldn't have been happier. She provided comfort and care to my pup during one of the most stressful times of the year. I am overwhelmed by how wonderful our experience was with Nicole. Highly recommend!

I personally would not choose anyone else. Mary has been such a blessing to me. My dog is 17 years old and she takes such good care of him. She has been available for me for several times, on short notice. I have a hard time leaving my dog because of his age, but I know he’s in good hands. I highly recommend her!

Courtney is/was AMAZING from the meet & greet until the pickup! She sent us updates, pictures, and videos of my fur baby. She loved him just like he was her own. I could not have come across a better sitter. I almost don't want to say how great she was so I can keep her to myself, but if you book with her you will not be disappointed. We have a sitter/friend for life. Thank you Courtney, you are the greatest!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
