I make every reasonable accommodation to cater to a pet's need(s) for attention and relief. I am a runner and will happily wear out your little athlete if you so desire. I work in a Veterinary hospital currently and am often times permitted to bring my pets/charges with me. I am up during the early AM/late PM to exercise several times a week.

Information Asha J. would like to know about your pet

If your pet(s) has any quirks, favorite things, or most importantly any special needs -please indicate what those are and how you manage, prevent, or treat them normally. I ask that you leave an emergency contact with me in the event that you cannot be reached. Additionally, I request that you notify your vet of me as your pet's caretaker. Also I ask that you leave an authorized prepaid debit card in a sealed envelope for emergent veterinary care along with a note giving me permission to make care decisions in the event you cannot be reached. Ideally, I recommend to do at least 1 home visit meet and greet with all my new families prior to starting a sit in order for your pet to know who I am and get comfortable with me being in their spaces.

A typical day

After work I frequently walk 2 -3 miles by the canal. I am fond of keeping things relaxing and enjoyable. I like to play tug of war and have a great throwing arm for dogs who like to play fetch. I give cuddles and belly rubs for all who welcome them.

Pet care experience

I started in the Atlanta veterinary industry since 2005, having worked every position from kennel to management. I prefer and enjoy all the hands on loving aspects of the industry most. I have recently relocated from Jacksonville to Auguste. I primarily work with, but am not limited to, cats and dogs. I offer skilled pet sitting to families with fur babies and in particular to those with pets needing a bit more special care (partial paralysis, diabetic, renal failure, aggression, etc.) As a youth I started volunteering at a local vet hospital and pet sitting for my neighbors' dogs. I have since owned or cared for cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, iguanas, and the occasional bird. I've even worked a semester with guinea fowl, cattle, and goats during my life and undergraduate career. I will be your pet's favorite "Auntie"!

A top-notch caregiver for my two kitties and I have worked with many sitters in the past 10 years. I chose Asha because she has experience with special needs pets. She was willing to house sit with my babies so that she could express the bladder of my special needs girl. She fed, watered, brushed, loved and expressed the bladder of my little one every 6 hours to keep her on schedule day and night. If you are hesitant about traveling because of your fur babies, call Asha. She is delightful, willing, clean, communicative and observant. She will care for your home and your pets as her own. There are not enough stars for me to recommend Asha highly enough! She is a personable, professional, and experienced lover of animals… I have already talked with her about future sits. She is the answer to my prayers and my babies love her!

Asha is THE BEST!! She is so kind and loving and will go above and beyond for your pet. Asha is a vet technician and very knowledgeable - she helped me in a number of ways and I am so grateful for her. I trust her judgement and would ask her to watch my dog again, any time!
