“Amber was wonderful looking after our 9 year old weimaraner! So grateful for the pictures she sent while we were gone. It really seemed like my pup had a wonderful time! Highly recommend!”

About: I have taken care of pets of all kinds since I was 11/12 years old. I have a strong love for fur babies and find it very easy to connect with them. I’m no dog whisperer (maybe lol) but I do feel that I have a sixth sense that helps me to understand their needs without verbal communication to help for a smoother experience. I am currently working full time from home so I have unlimited availability and the flexibility needed to work with each and every pets needs. I currently live in an apartment that is very pet friendly. We have huge fields all around the buildings for running and playing. I do have a small dog and cat myself perfect for keeping your pets company. Both pets are dog/cat friendly and would love to share our home with tour fur babies!!
“My pet Herman was very well cared for. He was happy and calm when I came to pick him up. The pictures and communication was many times a day and that made me feel very secure. I will definitely use Cassie again.”

“Brandi and her husband were extremely attentive and kind to our dog, Biscuit. They were communicative the whole time and provided information at pickup (including how he didn’t finish all his food the morning of pickup). Their 2 dogs were also fantastic and tired out our dog which is always an added plus. I would 100% recommend them to anyone who is needing a sitter for their dog!”

“Genesis is great and treats our pup as her own! We love having her watch our puppy when we are away! She is attentive and very easy to reach to communicate with. Would definitely recommend.”

“She was flexible with times and meet-ups, reliable, communicative, respectful, and playful without pup during our ten day boarding at her own place! definitely recommend to anyone else and will be using again!”

“Janai really cares about making sure the dogs are comfortable and enjoy their stay. She sends pictures to keep you updated. She is accommodating. She even went out her way to throw Queenie a birthday party!”

“Michelle was super sweet and sent pics and videos the whole time our dog stayed with her. She had great communication and our dog did not want to leave. Her dog was so sweet too and they got along great.”

“Sarah was great with our cat who has anxiety and had never stayed overnight at a sitter's home. She even allowed me to extend our cat's stay for a little longer due to unforeseen circumstances. She was very sweet and we appreciate her looking after our fur baby!”

“Samantha and Cole are absolutely fantastic. They took excellent care of Trusty, treating him like family, and frequently sent pictures of him having fun and playing. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in need of a trustworthy and loving pet sitter.”

“Jacob kept me updated and sent me daily pictures of Maxi when I was away. My dog was safe and happy being with him and I felt reassured that my dog was in great hands. I would definitely book with them again!”

“Weronika did so well with my two anxious boys. She went above and beyond to cater to my stubborn boys routine. She soothed my dogs during the storms as well. She was responsive and very polite. This is the first time my boys came back not stressed out !”

“We have never left our dogs with a stranger as they always go with us or stay with family, so we were nervous at first about leaving them, but those doubts were quickly put to rest. Michelle is great, she is very nice and accommodating, and she updated us daily with pictures. Our dogs came back to us in good spirits, looking like they had a good time. Would use her services again in the future for sure!”

“Angela and Roger did an amazing job taking care of our dog Ellie while we were away attending my graduation. This is the second time they’ve kept her, and once again they went above and beyond. Ellie was well cared for, happy, and clearly comfortable when we returned. We truly appreciate their reliability, kindness, and the peace of mind they give us while we’re away. We will definitely be using them again!”

About: I’ve grown up with pets my whole life. There’s nothing that gives me more joy than to love on a furry friend! I’ve pet sat for years, and have two veterinarians in our family only a call away. I’m excellent at medication, patient and intuitive to your pets needs. I work from home, rarely out for more than an hour or two a day. I’ve got one doggy in my home, Mr Bear, who was born completely deaf. He’s very tender and loves all new friends he meets. Neutered and non aggressive. I have 20 acres of property, awesome trails for sniffing, ball throwing and walkies. It is not fenced, but happy to keep your pup on a leash if you prefer. My little man is free in the home, sleeps in my bed and watches TV on the couch, no crates, but I’m happy to crate if that’s what makes your puppy feel safe. I’ve got extra rooms in my home so if you’d like them separated I can offer that as well.
About: I have spent my whole life (39 years) absolutely loving animals and advocating for better treatment of them in one way or another. My husband is allergic to cats so we have not had any pets as adults, but I love caring for them whenever the opportunity arises. Additionally, I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition with a Biology minor. I’d love to help care for your fur babies as if they are my own! I’m an active mom and wife, but my schedule is very flexible and I work from home so I’m almost always here. I learn quick and will do whatever your babies need. I treat your pets just like you do: like my child. I’m happy to follow instructions to the letter and to also use my own discretion when needed to support whatever is best for your sweet babies.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
