“Ashley was awesome. We have a 6 month old Sheepadoodle puppy and he’s a handful. She was able to adapt to his behavior and handle him with patience. She also kept our 6 year old Golden Doodle. She has pitbulls but they are super sweet and so if you’re concerned, don’t be. They are the sweetest dogs you’ll meet. They welcomed our dogs as a part of the pack and got along very well. She sent us a detailed report with pictures every morning. Our dogs were very comfortable and happy at her home. We have boarded them before and they came back with a different behavior like peeing in the crate. We did not have that issue. We could tell she continued our training and used our detailed instructions and tips. We plan to use her again. She is #1 on our list of boarders. We’ve tried many but she is by far the best!”

“Brandi was simply amazing with my Sugar Cookie! I was well informed throughout my entire trip with phots and videos. Sugar Cookie enjoyed all of the love and attention she was given. The spacious backyard allowed for a great ply place. 10/10 will be using again!”

“Brandi was wonderful with our fur babies. She sent lots of pictures and was great at communicating with us during their stay. She was also quick to reply when I sent an inquiry for sitting and was flexible with pick up and drop off. I can tell my poodles felt relaxed in her care. I’d be happy to book her again and would recommend her to others in need of a sitter.”

“Rachel and Logan took good care of our little girl, as if she were their pet, they earned her affection and she was very happy during the days she was at their house. They are reliable and responsible. They kept us informed about Bimba all the time, they sent us photos and videos, and above all a lot of fun with their dogs Bently and Coper. We will leave Bimba again with them when we need it, with our eyes closed.”

“Courtney was fantastic with our pups. We appreciated the chance to meet her prior to our booking date. She was great at communication, took our pups on waljs, and we loved the photos she sent. Highly recommend her services.”

“Charles did an amazing job taking care of Kenji. From daily updates and photos to ensuring Kenji had walks and playtime. Kenji got along well with Knox, who is a Dalmatian as well. Kenji was happy when I returned, and it was a huge relief to know he was in such good hands. Highly recommend Charles for anyone needing a dependable and caring dog sitter!”

“It was my first time using Rover and I loved it! She is attentive and understanding. You can tell she loves the animals that she takes care of. With it being my first time away from my dog, especially with Maxi being under the care of a stranger, I was worried and have been missing her even more. Genesis gave me updates and sent me pictures of Maxi, which calmed my nerves. 10/10 would definitely book again!”

“Emily was great at the time of drop off she felt like family. She provided updates with photos and videos great to relax your nerves. Ace my Boxer with enough energy for four dogs, got home and went straight to sleep. Whatever Emily does we both like it. I would recommend her to anyone!”

“We had a great experience! Daisy was well taken care of, Whittney was great communicating while we were away, and our fur baby was excited to stay! Thank you again and we can’t wait to bring her back.”

“Janai did an excellent job keeping my dog while I was out of town. She kept me updated on my dog's activities and she sent me photos of him having a fun time with her dogs. Janai was very helpful and took good care of my puppy Cheddar and I highly recommend her services.”

“Ailey was awesome!! Sent lots of video and pics of our fur baby! She was very accommodating with drop off and pick up times and took great care of our favorite family member!!”

“Sarah was great with our cat who has anxiety and had never stayed overnight at a sitter's home. She even allowed me to extend our cat's stay for a little longer due to unforeseen circumstances. She was very sweet and we appreciate her looking after our fur baby!”

“Samantha was great! She was constantly sending us updates and pictures while we were away. Gunner loved making new friends and he can’t wait to visit Lady and Layla again!”

“Samantha and Cole are absolutely fantastic. They took excellent care of Trusty, treating him like family, and frequently sent pictures of him having fun and playing. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in need of a trustworthy and loving pet sitter.”

“Sarah and her crew are amazing! My two Boys loved their stay, all the awesome photos I got they were both happy and having fun. I was updated several times a day. Such a wonderful family, i will continue bringing my boys Big Mac and Bumbu to Stay with sarah and her crew whenever I go out of town. 10/10”

“Angela and Roger did an amazing job taking care of our dog Ellie while we were away attending my graduation. This is the second time they’ve kept her, and once again they went above and beyond. Ellie was well cared for, happy, and clearly comfortable when we returned. We truly appreciate their reliability, kindness, and the peace of mind they give us while we’re away. We will definitely be using them again!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
