“Emily is one of the best Rovers we’ve ever had. She is not only communicative, she’s extremely understanding (we were not able to pick up our dog on time because we were driving home from Philadelphia and she made sure I knew that my dog was safe and cared for until the morning). she is very go with the flow. I had to leave for my brothers wedding and she was there in a pinch to help and make sure I felt at ease. She sent me pictures of my baby having fun and I was able to spend the wedding and all of the festivities without ever having to worry. I really am thankful for my experience with Emily and her wonderful family. So did Blake. Thank you so much!!!!”

“Ashley was absolutely amazing with Jett while we were out of town! She took such great care of him and gave us complete peace of mind. We really appreciated the regular updates, photos, and the love and attention she showed him. It was obvious Jett was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. Ashley is reliable, professional, and truly treats your pet like family. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter, and we’ll definitely be booking with her again. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional pet care!”

“Amber was so kind from answering questions as a first time customer to staying connected through the whole staying. She sent pictures and updates throughout the day. She was gentle with our babyboy. We will definitely recommend and use her again. Thank you Amber!”

“Ms. Alexis was absolutely amazing watching Biscuit! She was so accommodating and helpful as we had a sudden funeral to attend. Biscuit was extremely well taken care of and if you need someone who will truly love and take care of your pet, I 100% recommend using Ms. Alexis”

“Ozzie appeared to love his stay with Joshua! He can take a minute to warm up to new people and Joshua handled him beautifully. Communication was excellent and I received some great pictures of Ozzie playing with new dog friends and chilling on the couch.”

“We had to be away for 7 hours and we needed someone to watch our lab pup. I was worried at first, but after meeting Samantha, we were relieved how amazing she was with our pup. Our pup is a little shy meeting new dogs and needs more socialization. Samantha picked up our pup and her experience allowed her to introduced them slowly and correctly. We could tell by the pics we received, that after a couple of hours, my pup and her dog (lady) were playing and sleeping together so well. Both Samantha and her dog were sweet and playful with my pup. Buy the time I got back and she dropped my pup off, she passed out with all the energy she burned to day. But I can tell my pup had an amazing day. I will use Samantha again and would highly recommend her to others. Thanks Samantha and Lady!”

“Charles did an amazing job taking care of Kenji. From daily updates and photos to ensuring Kenji had walks and playtime. Kenji got along well with Knox, who is a Dalmatian as well. Kenji was happy when I returned, and it was a huge relief to know he was in such good hands. Highly recommend Charles for anyone needing a dependable and caring dog sitter!”

“Extremely nice and caring. My wife and I were very comfortable leaving our dog with her for a weekend. She treated him as though he were family and there were no complications. We will definitely ask for her again in the future!!”

“Sarah and her crew are amazing! My two Boys loved their stay, all the awesome photos I got they were both happy and having fun. I was updated several times a day. Such a wonderful family, i will continue bringing my boys Big Mac and Bumbu to Stay with sarah and her crew whenever I go out of town. 10/10”

“Brandi H was absolutely awesome. I was anxious, leaving my dog Hefner with somebody new but she instantly got along with him. She kept me updated, sent pictures and messages. Took great care of Hefner and even washed him when he got dirty. I would definitely book with Brandi again.”

About: I am a true animal lover, having had many different animals over the years, ranging from one of the smallest dog breeds, a Chihuahua (16 years) to one of the largest, a blind in one eye, completely deaf Great Dane (7 years). Both have since passed away, and I now enjoy my two Boxers, 11 yr old female, Daisy and my newest addition, a 3 month old male, Rocco. Knowing first hand the worries that go with boarding your animal, and the stresses they feel. I will give them the loving, nurturing experience, while making sure they are safe in their own environment and able to keep their routine. I am comfortable with all dog breeds and I look forward to meeting you and your pet.
“Janai really cares about making sure the dogs are comfortable and enjoy their stay. She sends pictures to keep you updated. She is accommodating. She even went out her way to throw Queenie a birthday party!”

“Payton took great care of our baby while we were out of town. She was very communicative and sent us lots of updates with pictures. We felt at ease that our pup was being cared for well.”

“She was flexible with times and meet-ups, reliable, communicative, respectful, and playful without pup during our ten day boarding at her own place! definitely recommend to anyone else and will be using again!”

“Rachel and Logan took good care of our little girl, as if she were their pet, they earned her affection and she was very happy during the days she was at their house. They are reliable and responsible. They kept us informed about Bimba all the time, they sent us photos and videos, and above all a lot of fun with their dogs Bently and Coper. We will leave Bimba again with them when we need it, with our eyes closed.”

“Sam and Cole have been absolutely amazing! Can’t forget about their sweet pup Remi as well. All the photos that they sent my dog had the biggest smile on his face 😊 i appreciate them treating my dog as if he was one of theirs. I will without a doubt rebook with them in the future!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
