“Jenn was beyond amazing! She cared for our boy Loki as her own and made sure to keep him fulfilled and entertained throughout his stay. Went above and beyond to help him feel welcome, happy, and loved 😊 The backyard was an advantage as well and a very safe space! Very grateful for all the pictures and updates she would send even if it was just something simple, made us feel connected with Loki while away ❤️ He had an amazing time with Jenn and Millie! Loki definitely loved his stay and we will for sure be messaging for future stays!”

“Poria is an amazing sitter, strongly recommend! Sent pictures every day, kept us updated, responded quickly, was attentive and treated our pup with love while we were gone. Loki didn’t even have problem eating his food the first day, thats how comfortable he felt :) Sugar Cookie was also a great host for Loki and we’re happy our pup had a friend to play with during his stay. Would 100% trust Poria to care for Loki during our next trip. Thank you!”

“Nicole and her husband were both extremely nice, considerate, and accommodating! My dog has mobility problems, and they went out of their way to get floor mats to help my dog and future dogs move around their house.”

“My dog absolutely loved staying with her! She’s great at communicating and sending me updates of my baby, I felt safe with leaving my dog with her, and she took great care of him. Will definitely be coming back!”

“My pet Herman was very well cared for. He was happy and calm when I came to pick him up. The pictures and communication was many times a day and that made me feel very secure. I will definitely use Cassie again.”

“Charles did an amazing job taking care of Kenji. From daily updates and photos to ensuring Kenji had walks and playtime. Kenji got along well with Knox, who is a Dalmatian as well. Kenji was happy when I returned, and it was a huge relief to know he was in such good hands. Highly recommend Charles for anyone needing a dependable and caring dog sitter!”

“I was very happy with Valerie! My dog Bernice is an only dog and does not do well around other dogs. She is a rescue and a little afraid. I was very comfortable leaving her with Valerie. She took excellent care of Bernice and I really appreciated the photos! I will use her again.”
“Milo seemed to enjoy his stay with Joshua, and I truly appreciated Joshua's flexibility with me when I had to extend Milo's stay unexpectedly! Milo says "thanks" for a great vacation!”

About: Hi! I’m a psychology major at Augusta University and currently work as an RBT supporting autistic children, which has made me patient, attentive, and very comfortable building trust through positive reinforcement. I’ve loved dogs my entire life, especially after owning and training my German Shepherd for 8 years, and I now have a puppy of my own who keeps me enjoying daily walks, park time, and training every day. (For boarding, she would stay with my family so your pet would have my full attention and a calm space.) I especially like working on basic positive reinforcement with treats or a clicker when wanted. I love petting and getting to know every dog I see, so any chance to spend time with dogs is something I genuinely enjoy. I have open availability! Sometimes I may have an appointment or time commitment, but generally I am free throughout the week. I don’t have any scheduling or preference issues with overnight, extended, or evening hours either. I live in a townhome with a fenced patio. The patio has dirt/grass for going potty, a concrete center, and a backdoor that opens to a walking path. I have two floors with the bottom floor being hardwood (accident friendly!). For crate-preferred pets I have a 48in kennel (deep cleaned before and after use), or if crate-averse there is a guest bedroom that would be situated. I bring my own doggy bags and leash, but can use whatever is preferred. If desired I also have Buddy Trainers mini training treats that can be used for positively reinforcing your pet. My default approach is to focus primarily on your pet’s comfort rather than training, with the option of passive training being added into that approach. If boarding, I could take your pet on walks around the very dog-pro community where there are consistently opportunities to socialize, explore, and play in the paths available. Also with boarding my puppy would not share the space and would be at my family’s throughout your pet’s stay. Regardless of whether your pet is boarding at my home or if sitting at your’s, I have no problem deep (and properly) cleaning any accidents that come up. My approach with all pets, especially dogs, is positive reinforcement through doing things they enjoy. I try to set your pet up for success by matching their energy and minimizing any reason to feel anxious, sized up, or uncomfortable in general.
“Ms. Alexis was absolutely amazing watching Biscuit! She was so accommodating and helpful as we had a sudden funeral to attend. Biscuit was extremely well taken care of and if you need someone who will truly love and take care of your pet, I 100% recommend using Ms. Alexis”

“I couldn’t be more pleased with the care Steven provided for my pup, Abby! From the moment we met, it was clear he had a natural connection with dogs and a genuine love for animals. Abby was happy, well-exercised, and clearly well-loved while I was away. Steven kept me updated with messages, which gave me great peace of mind. It’s always a little nerve-wracking to leave your pet with someone new, but Steven exceeded all expectations. I returned to a happy, healthy pup. Highly recommend Steven to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter. I’ll definitely be reaching out to him again in the future!”

“Extremely knowledgeable in her medical care for pets. She takes creat care to ensure your pet stays healthy, and has an emergency plan in place. She even gave me recommendations on what I can do to keep my babies healthy. Would definitely recommend for pets needing more detailed attention.”

“First time we’ve used Emily and our 16 year old bichon Shih Tzu mix was perfectly cared for. Emily sent pictures as well as text updates. She is wonderful! Our did got along great with her two dogs. We will be using Emily again when the need arises.”

“Brandi, watched our Silas during a very difficult time and allowed us to focus on the Celebration of Life for our loved one. Silas was well taken care of and she tended to him as if he was her own. Brandi provided us with photos and consistent updates. This allowed us to be at ease and enjoy time with family at establishments that weren't pet friendly. If you are looking for a loving and caring pet sitter, look no further than Brandi. Thank you Brandi for taking excellent care of our beloved Silas, making him feel welcomed and safe. 5 Stars all Day!!! Raymond A. Brown”

“We had a great experience! Daisy was well taken care of, Whittney was great communicating while we were away, and our fur baby was excited to stay! Thank you again and we can’t wait to bring her back.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Waverly
Jennica did an amazing job of keeping my dog Herman. He was happy and calm when I picked him up. She sent me pictures and videos of him every day and evening. I will use her again. She treated Herman like he is a part of her family. I am very happy with the care she provided.

Wow. Just amazing. Nicole is a very caring and attentive dog sitter. This was my first time using Rover/dog sitter and I couldn't have been happier. She provided comfort and care to my pup during one of the most stressful times of the year. I am overwhelmed by how wonderful our experience was with Nicole. Highly recommend!

I personally would not choose anyone else. Mary has been such a blessing to me. My dog is 17 years old and she takes such good care of him. She has been available for me for several times, on short notice. I have a hard time leaving my dog because of his age, but I know he’s in good hands. I highly recommend her!

I had a great experience with Aliyah on Rover! She was very informative from the start and made me feel completely comfortable leaving Milo in her care. Throughout the stay, she kept me consistently updated with messages, pictures, and videos, which really gave me peace of mind. It was clear that Milo was being well cared for and getting plenty of attention. Aliyah is also a very sweet and kind person, and you can tell she genuinely loves animals. Her communication, reliability, and the extra effort she put into sending updates truly stood out. I highly recommend Aliyah to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter. Milo and I will definitely be booking with her again!

Courtney is/was AMAZING from the meet & greet until the pickup! She sent us updates, pictures, and videos of my fur baby. She loved him just like he was her own. I could not have come across a better sitter. I almost don't want to say how great she was so I can keep her to myself, but if you book with her you will not be disappointed. We have a sitter/friend for life. Thank you Courtney, you are the greatest!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
