“Eboni was great with updates and photos the whole time she had our sweet girl! Her home was inviting and she made sure our dog got plenty of outside time as well as lots of love. I highly recommend her if you’re looking for a safe and comfy place for your dog!”

“I couldn’t be more pleased with the care Steven provided for my pup, Abby! From the moment we met, it was clear he had a natural connection with dogs and a genuine love for animals. Abby was happy, well-exercised, and clearly well-loved while I was away. Steven kept me updated with messages, which gave me great peace of mind. It’s always a little nerve-wracking to leave your pet with someone new, but Steven exceeded all expectations. I returned to a happy, healthy pup. Highly recommend Steven to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter. I’ll definitely be reaching out to him again in the future!”

“Donna was amazing, I could tell Bubs didn’t wanna leave her which made me a little jealous lol. But she kept me updated several times a day and checked in with me to show me. He was doing well and adjusted well. I look forward to booking with her again soon highly recommend.”

“Brooke and her husband took great care of my little dog. When I went to pick her up she was in no hurry to leave! They are responsive, polite, and obviously love dogs. Highly recommend!”

“Very nice and kind! Very detailed and up-to-date on everything. My puppy enjoyed his stay. I would highly recommend Ms. Cassie! I don't have any complaints. Thanks for your hard work and dedication!”

“Jen is excellent. Herman, my Bichon Frise, loves staying at her home. Jen goes the extra mile in taking care of Herman and making him feel safe and loved. She is excellent.”

“Mary was sooo great with babysitting Evee. She sent frequent pics and videos and Evee looked soo happy in every one of them. I would definitely book Mary again. She is soo kind and sweet. And she took AMAZING care of my little Evee. 💖💖”

“Brandi did an amazing job! Charlotte is my sweet baby girl and I will not leave her with just anyone. It has to be someone I know I can trust to take good care of her. After our long time dog sitter retired, I was nervous about finding someone new. Brandi kept our precious little Charlotte for 10 days and she sent us updates, pictures/videos daily. She was always very responsive when I would reach out to check on Charlotte. You can tell without a doubt she genuinely loves what she does. Charlotte seemed very happy with Brandi and was very well cared for. I most definitely would recommend Brandi, and we will without a doubt book with her again. If you're looking for an amazing dog sitter who is attentive to your dogs needs, and will shower them with lots of love and attention, Brandi does all of that and more. ☺️”

“I have never left my dog with someone I did not know, so I was apprehensive, however Rachelle put my heart at ease after chatting with her and learning how she really truly has a heart for dogs and taking care of them. She sent me updates daily and was always quick to respond if I communicated with her. She even checked on my dog after we picked him back up! I will definitely use her again!”

“Poria was AMAZING! She was extremely responsive and a pleasure to meet/work with. She took such great care of our two dogs and provided constant pictures, videos, and updates. We will definitely be using her again!”

“My black lab huxley had the best time for the weekend. He loved playing with all the dogs and I knew Ieft him in good hands. Emily is the sweetest even after some time problems on drop off day. She is very accommodating and made sure he was comfortable and happy the whole time. We will definitely be using her again.”

“Tamika was an absolute joy! She was prompt with picking up and dropping my puppy back at home. Tamika kept me updated and sent plenty of pictures and videos, this was especially helpful since this was our first time. I definitely will be choosing her when having to be away again!”

“First time Rover user here! Courtney is awesome! My pup Rosey is a timid, shelter adopted dog. So she can be a little shy at times... but Courtney made her feel right at home! Just like a part of her family. Regular updates, photos and videos too! She is my future go-to rover sitter :) thanks Court! -Bryan”

“Nicole and her husband were both extremely nice, considerate, and accommodating! My dog has mobility problems, and they went out of their way to get floor mats to help my dog and future dogs move around their house.”

About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was 10 years old and have always considered animals part of the family. I currently have two 8-year-old cats, and until recently I also had two dogs, including a 12-year-old German Shepherd/Malamute mix who sadly passed away from heart failure this year and a Pit Bull who passed away the year before. Caring for pets throughout their different stages of life has taught me how important patience, attention, and love are. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, giving pets attention and companionship, and keeping their normal routines while their families are away. I know how hard it can be to leave your pets with someone else, so I’ll treat them with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I’m currently a stay-at-home mom, so I have a flexible schedule and am home most of the day. My only regular commitments are school drop-off and pickup. This allows me plenty of time for walks, potty breaks, playtime, and check-ins throughout the day. I live in a quiet apartment community with a small dog park that I can use for appropriate dogs. I have two friendly 8-year-old cats who are comfortable around people and pets. I also have a toddler who loves animals and a 5-year-old who is more timid around very energetic dogs, so I’m especially mindful of each pet’s temperament and comfort level. I will only accept pets that are a good fit for my home and family, and I always prioritize safety, supervision, and following your pet’s normal routine
“Amber was so kind from answering questions as a first time customer to staying connected through the whole staying. She sent pictures and updates throughout the day. She was gentle with our babyboy. We will definitely recommend and use her again. Thank you Amber!”

Larissa is so good to my husky! She is super flexible and works with my busy schedule. She makes smoky feel at home! He loves playing with her dog and going on trail walks! He always acts excited to be there! He howls when we pull up to her neighborhood! She is great about giving his medications! 10/10 will continue to use her for my pet care needs!

Alexis did a great job with our senior dog keeping her for 2 weeks. She sent messages and pictures so we always felt connected and at ease. All special instructions were followed to a T and our girl even had a fresh bath before coming home. Highly recommend Alexis and would book again!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Kensington home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Kensington.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Kensington sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
