“I can't say enough nice things about Hannah, she is absolutely amazing! She watched my two elderly cats for two weeks, and did a fantastic job. I absolutely hate leaving them and typically worry the whole time I'm away, but after the meet and greet I knew they would be well cared for and safe. They both liked her immediately which is extremely rare for one of them. That same cat doesn't do well with being left, she's always extremely clingy and lethargic when we return home. This was the very first time, (and she's 13 years old) she seemed happy and unconcerned by our absence! It really showed how comfortable and secure she felt. About: I have taken care of dogs professionally for 5 years, but have been studying and caring for dogs all my life! I am able to walk dogs of all sizes, administer medications (including insulin and related meds), cut nails, bathe dogs, and do basic training. I am a college student and I also work a part-time job, but I am am away at most for six hours of the day and can come by anytime between school and my job! I will be able to conduct house sitting activities such as basic cleaning, collecting the mail, and any chores in addition to pet care. While your babies are with me, I can guarantee you quality care and love, of course!

About: I have been taking care of pets since I was little. My childhood dog passed 2 years ago and my parents recently got a new puppy. I’m an athlete so walks and playing aren’t an issue. I’m a college student studying criminology but I’m completely online with nothing else to do so my availability is very open and flexible just about every day I make sure I'm fully present during each visit so your pet gets the care and attention they deserve. I prioritize keeping pets comfortable by sticking closely to their normal routine. In a client's home, I follow all instructions carefully for feeding, walks, and any special care needed. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection while also keeping their environment clean and safe. For pets that need extra patience, like seniors, I take my time and make sure they feel calm and secure.

About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was 10 years old and have always considered animals part of the family. I currently have two 8-year-old cats, and until recently I also had two dogs, including a 12-year-old German Shepherd/Malamute mix who sadly passed away from heart failure this year and a Pit Bull who passed away the year before. Caring for pets throughout their different stages of life has taught me how important patience, attention, and love are. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, giving pets attention and companionship, and keeping their normal routines while their families are away. I know how hard it can be to leave your pets with someone else, so I’ll treat them with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I’m currently a stay-at-home mom, so I have a flexible schedule and am home most of the day. My only regular commitments are school drop-off and pickup. This allows me plenty of time for walks, potty breaks, playtime, and check-ins throughout the day. I live in a quiet apartment community with a small dog park that I can use for appropriate dogs. I have two friendly 8-year-old cats who are comfortable around people and pets. I also have a toddler who loves animals and a 5-year-old who is more timid around very energetic dogs, so I’m especially mindful of each pet’s temperament and comfort level. About: I’ve been dog sitting & cat sitting since I was 17 and have loved it since! I have 1 senior dog, and 2 cats that I couldn’t live without! I’ve been pet-sitting since high school, but have been using it as a side hobby since I’m in college studying social work! I have a small covered area where my dogs can go potty, helping keep them safe from hawks and coyotes. Your dog’s safety and comfort will always be my top priority. Dogs are treated like family in my home. They’re welcome on the furniture and can sleep on the bed if that’s what they’re used to. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
