About: Dogs have always been apart of my life. I have had many different breeds throughout my life. Taking care of dogs are my passion and I hope you choose me to help you out. I am currently doing online classes until July 13th so I will be available for drop-ins 3 times a day and walks 3 times a day. After that I can drop in however often is needed, as reasonable. I am not offering boarding services but I am available to take your dogs on trail walks or long walks in general if needed, I may offer house sitting services in the future.
“Caitlin was great checking in on Violet. It was super last minute, so Violet was the only one that actually got to meet her in person. Even with a storm she gave me peace of mind that Violet would be checked on.”

“Kelsey is such a delightful person. And she genuinely seems to care about animals. She has been on time and my dog really seems to like her. Would definitely recommend!”

“Paige is the sitter that I wish all sitters were! She cares for my pups, while simultaneously understanding that I am human as well. She asks intelligent questions and takes command of any issues that come up.”

“Donna did a great job looking after my two cats while I was away! She kept me updated and made sure my cat was well taken care of. Everything was in good shape when I got home. Reliable and easy to work with and always on time! I even got the cutest check-in pictures of them!”

“Alyssa did a great job taking care of our pups! She was very responsive and made sure they got the attention they needed while we were gone. I hope Alyssa is available next time we go out of town.”

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs since my dad worked as a military police officer in the K-9 unit. I’ve also raised dogs of my own, giving me experience with puppies and senior pets. I also like cats and have cat sit for friends. I’m happy to support and listen to your pet care needs! I’m currently working part-time with a flexible schedule, so, with a prior notice, I will make time to support your pet! Mornings and evenings tend to work best as I am consistently finished with my shifts no later than 6pm and arrive by noon! I will listen to and perform in-home services at the client’s request. Feeding, playing with, and letting out pets are standard, but I will also check in with clients for other in-home services, such as bathing, walking, or brushing the pets’ teeth.
“Rebecca was amazing and went far and beyond! She came and met our pets prior to our booking date and sent us pictures and videos every single day! Our pets absolutely loved her. We can’t recommend her enough and will book in the future.”

“Allison was amazing. Even our very shy girl was out and about to see Allison, let her pet her and was purring. Allison was very attentive to all their needs as well as sending wonderful updates and pictures everyday. We highly recommend Allison. She will be our go to sitter. This was an absolute excellent first Rover experience!”

“So kind, professional, and very on top of all details of taking care of my dog, where to leave a key, coming to meet us before hand, etc.! Went above and beyond and did some brushing and extra lovin for my pup while I was away. Definitely will be rebooking if I go out of town again!”
About: I worked with dogs on a daily basis at a Veterinary hospital. I was a boarding attendant there and gave care and playtime/exercise to them everyday. Since my husband joined the Military, I have had to leave my beloved job behind. I have a good amount of free time to care for animals. I am flexible and I am willing to work with you if you choose to work with me. I have found that I am at my happiest working with animals. I have raised numerous puppies and cared for a number of litters. I dog sit all the time. I even help my aunt out at her farm regularly. She has goats, ducks, cats, and dogs, and I am caring for all of them. Whenever I am caring for a pet, I always make sure to keep to their original routine provided as I can. But other than the routine given to me by owners (or I like to say "parents") I mainly like to make sure they are given walks/exercise daily, play with some of their favorite toys, make sure they are eating their food, getting enough to eat and drink, keeping the water fresh and clean, and making sure their environment is safe. And of course giving them love and affection. I also like to keep the parents updated on their fur babies by providing them with updated pictures and videos of them. I can always be reached by text message to answer any questions. Animals tend to gravitate toward me, and they are always in a great mood, and very happy when they are around me. I am a proud doggy mom myself. I have a toy poodle / beagle mix and we rescued a wonderful border collie/lab mix who is such a sweetie! I love animals and working with them is really rewarding. I look forward to meeting your fur babies!

About: I’ve been dog sitting for around 4 years now. I’ve taken care of up to 3 dogs at a time, as well as dogs of all sizes from King Charles Spaniel’s to American XL Bully. I have taken care of senior dogs, and less than year old puppies. I repeat dog sit for many families! I and trustworthy and responsible, and take care of the house while you’re away as well! I have a dog of my own, and also travel, so I prioritize making sure your pups are well loved like you aren’t even gone! I do have a part time job, some days I’ll be available all day, some days I will need to leave the house for 4-8 hours. I can be very flexible though, and will work around what works best for your animals! I will happily take your pups out in the back yard, take them for walks, cuddle with them, bathe them, and give them plenty of treats and love!
“She did such a great job with our pups and is such a sweet person all around! Even our little puppy, who is typically a bit more shy around strangers, warmed up to her immediately! Madeleine followed all instructions excellently and was completely professional and very flexible. Also provided great communication throughout. Our pups had such a fun time getting to play with her during the drop-in visit - it was a perfect way for them to get some energy out! I'd 100% recommend her to anyone 😊”

Kelsey was incredible with our cats and took great care of them. We got lots of pics of them being cuddled and cared for which made our trip better knowing we didn’t need to worry about them. I would 100% re-book with Kelsey and would recommend her to anyone who wants extra peace of mind for their furry friends.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Grovetown. On Rover:
- 100% of sitters can help with special care needs

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
