About: I am a retired nurse with over 20 years of experience. I have a deep love for animals of all kinds and am seeking a new role where I can continue providing attentive, compassionate care. I have experience caring for a wide variety of pets, in addition to cats, and dogs. I am comfortable working with animals that have special needs, including administering medications and supporting service animals. In addition to providing essential care such as feeding and potty breaks, I prioritize spending quality time with each pet—whether that means playing with them or simply sitting quietly, depending on their preference. A meet-and-greet is required to ensure a good fit for both you and your pet. Pet care is thoughtfully integrated into my daily routine, allowing me to provide consistent and reliable service for each client. After two years of part-time pet sitting and a recent retirement from my nursing career, I now have the flexibility to offer dedicated drop-in visits throughout the week from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM. My schedule is structured to ensure each pet receives attentive, unhurried care. Weekend visits can be arranged as needed, and I am also available for vacation coverage with a preferred two weeks’ notice to ensure seamless planning and continuity of care. Care begins with an initial meet-and-greet to ensure a good fit between myself, you, and your pet. I provide care within your pet’s own home to help minimize stress and maintain their normal routine in a familiar environment. I carefully follow all owner instructions and approach each visit with patience and compassion, prioritizing your pet’s comfort and well-being while you are away. As a pet owner myself, I understand the level of attention, consistency, and care animals need, especially when their routine is disrupted.

My start began with my childhood pet, college friend’s pups, or my neighbor’s dogs. I have experience dog walking, giving medication via pills, and work on skills and behavioral issues with dogs and puppies. Or, just watching a movie and having cuddle time!! I love it all! I’m a recent college grad. I work from home, but Rover is top priority- I have maximum availability and flexibility to fit your needs. I can work long term with you or short. I live in a spacious house with an unfenced backyard area. I do not have a crate. My dog Henny loves to play with others and keeps to himself when he’s tuckered out. He’s great making friends and being a patient teacher to young/timid dogs. He can come with me to play with your pup, but he is happy to stay home too.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since early childhood. Between walking, feeding, and playing, I’ve cared for pups since I can remember. I have two mix breed babies at home. I am a writer with an 11 year old child. So taking your pets for a walk would be a nice break in my day! I have a large yard, and two medium sized fur dogs that love to play. I can also keep them separate if need be or even crate.
