“Jennifer was an incredible sitter for us! We loved the videos, pictures, and thoughtful notes on our kittens. It was pretty clear when I got home that the babies hadn’t felt lonely during my absence. She obviously loves animals and took thoughtful care of my kittens. I would recommend Jennifer and will be booking her for all of my needs from now on.”

After mid-October I will be in the home full time. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space for fun and exercise. Additionally, I have a 9 year old daughter who loves animals and is kind and gentle with the. No pets currently live in the home.
“Donna did a great job looking after my two cats while I was away! She kept me updated and made sure my cat was well taken care of. Everything was in good shape when I got home. Reliable and easy to work with and always on time! I even got the cutest check-in pictures of them!”

“Paige was a wonderful pet sitter! She looked after our cats while we were away for a week. They were happy and healthy and she played with them to keep their lil minds engaged. It was so nice to know they were getting great care while we were away! ❤️”

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs and cats since I was born and I’ve always had at least one animal in the house. As a result, I’ve grown very accustomed to the needs and languages of pets. I have watched over my extended family’s pets since I was about 11. I can walk, feed, bathe, and play with cats and dogs alike. I’ve raised my 95 pound german shepherd by myself but I also have experienced raising a small chihuahua mix and various sizes of cats. I am available everyday, however I need to be able to be gone for some hours during the day, as I have a part time job. I am able to be with your pets in the morning and night, and sometimes during the day too. I can adapt to care for the animals in your home however you wish. Whether that’s through walking them to go to the bathroom or watching them as they run around in the backyard. I will do whatever you need me to do for your pet.
“We loved having Rebecca watch our sweet pup. She was very communicative and sent lots of pictures which we appreciated! She always showed up when she was supposed to and was just great to deal with overall.”

“Christina dropped into my home to care for my Cane Corso and pittie while I was out of town. She was professional and timely and executed all directions as asked! I will book her again!”

“Third time hiring Allison. She’s amazing and our dogs warmed up to her immediately. She is also excellent with our 15 year old who is timid and needs a little extra TLC due to being elderly. Highly recommend!”

“Kelsey was available on short notice and took excellent care of our pupper. She communicates promptly and is very attuned to our dog's needs. We were so glad to have her keep our little guy company while we were traveling.”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover and the proud owner of two French Bulldogs—a mother and her son. I’ve been involved in every stage of their care, from assisting with the birth of a litter to administering medications and routine injections when needed. I’ve also cared for as many as eight puppies at one time, so I’m comfortable managing multiple dogs while ensuring each receives plenty of attention and care. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and routine, and I strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether your dog enjoys playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply relaxing, I’ll tailor my care to their needs. I work full time, but I’m available before and after work as well as on weekends, allowing me to provide dependable care and consistent communication. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I’ll care for them as if they were my own. “Kendra is very sweet and loves on our dog well. She made sure he had fresh water and food and gave hime the short walks his older hips needed. This was the first time she dog sat for us, and we had some communication issues at the beginning of out time away from home, but were able to resolve them quickly.”

“Hannah did a great job taking care of my kitties!! She even went above and beyond and swept around the litter box and brought in packages for us! She sent me pictures and kept me updated on them as well.”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since early childhood. Between walking, feeding, and playing, I’ve cared for pups since I can remember. I have two mix breed babies at home. I am a writer with an 11 year old child. So taking your pets for a walk would be a nice break in my day! I have a large yard, and two medium sized fur dogs that love to play. I can also keep them separate if need be or even crate.
“Lilliana was absolutely amazing! Very communicative as she sent me pictures and updates every day. My pups loved her and she went out of her way to make sure they were well taken care of while we were gone. I 10/10 will be requesting her in the future”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Grovetown
I recently moved to Georgia and had never used Rover before, but I’m so glad I chose Allison! My dog can be slow to warm up but took to Allison right away. I loved the pictures and messages she sent after her lunch drop-ins. She also spent the time to play with my dog and get some energy out! Would highly recommend Allison to anyone.

Jackie was wonderful! We felt reassured with her leaving both photos and videos of our dog while we were away. She spent time playing with our dog and Yuki responded so well to her. :) Definitely will use Jackie as our pet sitter again and would highly recommend her to care for your pets!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
