I have an older Lab who is friendly but gets stressed if our guests don’t understand when he doesn’t want to play. Dogs that can understand a little bark for boundaries, or are receptive to my commands, fit best to ensure everyone has a good time. Queenie is kind of a mixed bag- she can be protective, submissive, dominant, sweet, grumpy- it just depends on the guest! She seems to get along well with bigger dogs! You can find her protecting me or Benjamin or playing chase or fetch! We have a fully fenced yard. Dog beds, toys and pet friendly furniture! Pet-parent approved treats and belly rubs are always on demand! KONG toys and peanut butter are on the daily snack menu around here, too! *Please let me know if your pet(s) have any allergies. *Intact males an in heat females on a case-by-case basis.

Please let me know if your pet has ever shown aggression with toys, food, other dogs or people. Everyone’s safety is my main priority. Let me know any extra needs or requests you may have. If they have their potty training down or they’re still working on it. Just knowing their general temperament toward people, as well as other dogs, helps a ton. Anything they don’t like and the things they love, too!
A typical day
In the hotter months we mostly stay inside. We do have the doggy pool but even that gets warm quick. All pups are closely monitored for overheating while outside for potty breaks and provided with shade, plenty of water/ice cubes and occasionally, frozen treats! Once the sun goes down (or before it comes up) we’re outside burning off some energy while it’s cool or relaxing before bed. Interactive toys, lick pads, and hide and seek with treats is one of our favorites. And of course, we’re all for snuggling up and watching a movie.

Growing up on a ranch, I was constantly around animals and wouldn’t have it any other way! I’ve always loved them. I’ve had many dogs, cats, and all the critters in between! Let me know your pets needs, typical schedule and if you need help redirecting any behaviors or encouraging any commands! *Lost or damaged items are not the responsibility of the sitter.

Heather was absolutely amazing! She had great communication from the very beginning and even scheduled a meet-and-greet beforehand, which made us feel so much more comfortable. She was incredibly attentive and asked thoughtful questions to make sure she understood Nami’s routine and how to take the best care of her while we were away. Throughout our trip, Heather sent regular updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. She did everything we asked and truly went above and beyond. It was clear that she genuinely cared about Nami and treated her like her own. Heather was so great with communication and the care for my dog. She kept me updated on how my dog was doing and interacting with others. Heather sent me quite a few pictures as well. I felt comfortable about her care the entire time I was gone and never worried about my dog. She went above and beyond by agreeing to pick my dog up as I accidentally schedule the incorrect drop off time. I’ll be recommending Heather to everyone who needs a sitter.
