About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve always felt a deep connection with them and believe there is something really special about the way animals experience the world. They may not speak our language, but they communicate with us in so many beautiful ways through their energy, body language, and presence. I’ve always been the person my family trusts with their pets, and I’ve had the joy of caring for puppies, adult dogs, and senior companions throughout my life. Every furry friend has their own personality, little quirks, and unique way of showing us who they are. What matters most to me is being present with them; taking the time to slow down, listen, and understand what they’re communicating helps create a space where they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. About: I’ve been dog sitting & cat sitting since I was 17 and have loved it since! I have 1 senior dog, and 2 cats that I couldn’t live without! I’ve been pet-sitting since high school, but have been using it as a side hobby since I’m in college studying social work! sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
