“I couldn’t be more pleased with the care Steven provided for my pup, Abby! From the moment we met, it was clear he had a natural connection with dogs and a genuine love for animals. Abby was happy, well-exercised, and clearly well-loved while I was away. Steven kept me updated with messages, which gave me great peace of mind. It’s always a little nerve-wracking to leave your pet with someone new, but Steven exceeded all expectations. I returned to a happy, healthy pup. Highly recommend Steven to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter. I’ll definitely be reaching out to him again in the future!”

“Brooke was absolutely amazing with Ellie while we were away for 6 days! I received daily updates and soo many pictures, which was so much fun to see her being treated like her own. I never had to worry about her and knew she was in great hands. I highly recommend Brooke and would definitely book with her again! 🐾 ❤️”

“Mary did a great job making me feel comfortable leaving my puppy Sonny with her. She provided pictures and updates, and would definitely recommend her and will be using her again!”

“Brandi, watched our Silas during a very difficult time and allowed us to focus on the Celebration of Life for our loved one. Silas was well taken care of and she tended to him as if he was her own. Brandi provided us with photos and consistent updates. This allowed us to be at ease and enjoy time with family at establishments that weren't pet friendly. If you are looking for a loving and caring pet sitter, look no further than Brandi. Thank you Brandi for taking excellent care of our beloved Silas, making him feel welcomed and safe. 5 Stars all Day!!! Raymond A. Brown”

“Amber was so kind from answering questions as a first time customer to staying connected through the whole staying. She sent pictures and updates throughout the day. She was gentle with our babyboy. We will definitely recommend and use her again. Thank you Amber!”

About: I’ve always been drawn to dogs since I was a little girl. I am unable to walk down the street and not ask to pet any dog I see. While new to using rover, I am not new to caring for dogs. I dog sit for all my friends and give them all the love, attention, walks, and treats that they deserve. I would be honored to be considered to watch your dog or even just to come by and go for a walk or have a play date! I have a small dog of my own, Marley, and she gets along with other dogs (and cats!) very well. I am currently unemployed and looking to go back to school so I have all the free time in the world. I can watch your dog overnight in my home. I can come by throughout the day for walks and pets. Literally anything you need I’m the person for the job! I have a partially fenced yard and a 7 year old sweet female terrier named Marley. I will be outside every time your dog goes potty to ensure there’s no escape escapades. I’d prefer a crate trained dog in the event I have to leave the house, but would never be gone for more than 4 hours. Pups of any kind are welcome on my furniture and bed! I think your dog would feel right at home and Marley would love some company!
“Angela and Roger did an amazing job taking care of our dog Ellie while we were away attending my graduation. This is the second time they’ve kept her, and once again they went above and beyond. Ellie was well cared for, happy, and clearly comfortable when we returned. We truly appreciate their reliability, kindness, and the peace of mind they give us while we’re away. We will definitely be using them again!”

“Samantha and Cole are absolutely fantastic. They took excellent care of Trusty, treating him like family, and frequently sent pictures of him having fun and playing. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in need of a trustworthy and loving pet sitter.”

“Great job checking in on 5 cats while away on vacation leave. She provided timely updates on activities and pictures. Our cats are seldom seen by unknown visitors, but they felt comfortable enough to come out and let their presence be known. Very much would recommend and will use Devin again for future trips.”

“Many thanks to Caitlin for taking such good care of my bengal! She’s very accommodating and communicative! First time having to hire a cat-sitter and I couldn’t have asked for a better service 👍”

“Really enjoyed having Thomas as a sitter for my 3 fur children. He was very communicative, easy to work with, and flexible with timing and requests. I have also used his partner as a sitter in the past and these two definitely make a great team. The photos were adorable and my cats seemed pleased (or as pleased as cats can seem) with the care they received. Would book again. Thank you!”
“Paige was a wonderful pet sitter! She looked after our cats while we were away for a week. They were happy and healthy and she played with them to keep their lil minds engaged. It was so nice to know they were getting great care while we were away! ❤️”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care our pet received! From the start, communication was clear, timely, and reassuring. It was obvious that our pet was treated with genuine love, patience, and attention. We received regular updates and photos, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. Our pet came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. We truly appreciate the reliability and kindness shown throughout the entire experience. We would absolutely trust them again and highly recommend their pet-sitting services to anyone looking for dependable and compassionate care.”

“I really appreciate Mary for coming over to my house and helping with our pup. Her consistency really helped with this stressful week. She even took 1-2 pictures with every visit.”

“Rebecca was truly a gem! She was super communicative and sent photos and videos! My cats definitely loved her! Thank you so much for taking such great care of my actual children! <3”

“We drove down from Ohio for a graduation in GA and needed to find someone to care for our 1.5 year old golden doodle. We’ve never left her with anyone before and were a bit nervous, especially before 12 hours from home. We were so happy with Mary and Felix and the care they gave her. We appreciated the pictures of our sweet girl that they sent to us as well. We have another graduation next year and will be reaching back out to them again for sure when we are back in the state.”

About: I have had dogs most my life. As an adult, I have had 3 pit bulls and a cane corso. Between them, I am very familiar with medical needs, puppies, and elderly dogs. Before children, my husband and I fostered bully breeds. Currently, I have been dog sitting on Rover for over a year. I understand the struggle with finding quality dog sitters that meet your pets needs. I hope I can provide you comfort in knowing your dog will be treated like family when in my care. I am currently available for drop in visits and daily walks. I currently have 2 dogs and 2 boys. Our backyard is about an half an acre that is completely fenced in. I am comfortable with dogs roaming the house and being crated. I have an XL crate in the home that is available to keep your pet safe. There is also a mudroom that can be used for dogs to have their own space if needed. We are an active family that enjoys being outdoors. I am a SAHM with flexibility in my schedule to accommodate dogs routine. I enjoy taking daily walks. We have a fenced in backyard to allow to the dogs to run around and play. With my 2 personal dogs, there is always someone willing to play.

As a stay-at-home wife, I’m available every day for walks, drop-ins, and playtime. My flexible schedule means your pets get consistent, loving care anytime they need it. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, so caring for them comes very naturally to me. I have years of experience walking dogs in my neighborhood. I’d love the chance to get to know and care for your dogs too! When I was younger I volunteered with the Humane Society and also spent time fostering both dogs and cats whenever I could. Doing that has taught me a lot about caring for animals of all ages, and personalities. Senior dogs especially have my heart. My own dog lived to be 18 years old, so I understand the extra care, patience, and attention older dogs sometimes need. I also have experience caring for blind and hard of hearing dogs, and I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. No matter if your pet is young and energetic or a sweet senior, I’ll treat them like they’re my own and make sure they get plenty of love, attention, and care while they’re with me! I currently just moved here, I’m available full time everyday to care for your pet at my home! They will get endless love and attention from me I have a fenced yard and two small dogs of my own, one is very playful! If your dog is used to walks I can also take them for walks in my neighborhood.I’ve also pet sat for several families back in my hometown and love caring for dogs. I have a small covered area where my dogs can go potty, helping keep them safe from hawks and coyotes. Your dog’s safety and comfort will always be my top priority. Dogs are treated like family in my home. They’re welcome on the furniture and can sleep on the bed if that’s what they’re used to. Your pup will get lots of love, attention, and care while they’re with me!
“Kristina and her boyfriend are amazing people !!! My puppy was well taken care of without me in site. Kristina also sent me a lot of good pics while he was there and kept me updated on what was going on and everything. I think I have a lifelong friend now with them both!! They have beautiful spirits and great energy to be around. I look forward for Paco to go over there again and again !!”
About: Hi there! I’m a mom of two girls and a proud dog mom to a sweet 5-year-old Yorkshire Terrier. Our home is full of love, energy, and experience when it comes to caring for both children and dogs. I’ve also fostered dogs in the past, which taught me how to support pups with different personalities, needs, and backgrounds. Just like I spoil my own pup (yes, she’s basically royalty around here), I’ll happily spoil yours too—with plenty of love, playtime, cuddles, and care. Your dog will be treated like one of our own. We have a large, fully fenced backyard that’s perfect for zoomies and outdoor fun. Our quiet neighborhood has walking paths right outside our door, so daily walks are always part of the routine. I'm currently a stay-at-home mom, so I have plenty of time during the day to care for your pup with lots of attention and love. My schedule is flexible before 3 PM on weekdays, as things tend to get a bit busier once my kids are home from school. If you're looking for morning or early afternoon walks, drop-ins, or daycare, I’m happy to work with you to find a time that fits! A few important things to note: If your pup will be staying at my home, they must be fully potty trained indoors—no indoor marking or accidents, please. If your dog has any special dietary needs or behavior concerns (such as anxiety, aggression, or reactivity), please let me know ahead of time so I can provide the best care possible. I’m home most of the time, so your dog will get constant company and attention. Communication and trust are key. In order for me to give your dog the very best care, it’s important that we’re on the same page. I believe in open, honest communication and building trust with every pet parent I work with. That way, you can enjoy peace of mind—and your dog can enjoy a safe, loving second home. Looking forward to meeting your pup and giving them all the tail wags and belly rubs they deserve! 🐾

About: I have enjoyed caring for fur babies for many years, from Pomeranians to a kennel full of Irish wolfhounds for a show handler. I take up to 2 dogs for daycare or overnight care in my home. For dog walking only, I prefer evenings in the summer months, 5-9:30pm. I have the summer months completely open for doggy daycare. I prefer only 2 dogs at a time inside my home. Please contact me with any questions on scheduling or baths (please provide preferred shampoo). For needed dog walking, I prefer evenings as the heat can be hard on pups, 5-9pm. I have a railed porch and an access door from the inside for pups who want safe outdoor time. I am in a gated community with plentiful space, and my home is steps away from a fenced dog park.
“Lexi’s was an absolute gem taking in my Brownie last minute. I’m so grateful for her. I’m based in California but my family is taking care of him for me so having someone like Lexis that was so welcoming and so great at updating me made me feel so at ease. It’s a blessing to have people like her, someone you can trust with your fur baby 🤗 Thank you for taking care of my Brownie. I absolutely appreciate it from the bottom of my heart 🫶🏾”

“Aliyah was very kind, accommodating I book last minute and she still told my babies, they had a great time came home and went to straight to sleep. I would recommend and definitely will be booking again.”

“Dorothy is indeed extraordinary. She is professional and really has a way with pets. She communicates every step of the way and goes the extra mile to ensure the pets well being. Believe me I am very selective with my precious doggie. He loves Dorothy and just gets so excited even when I say her name. What a special lady. We love her. She is amazing.”

“Jennifer G was great. she is very professional but also thoughtful and kind to the fur kids. She took pics, and gave a good report. She showed up on time or early and was flexible around the edge times (when we left and were expected back). She is just a great sitter and while she is new to Rover, I expect she will get an established consistent group of clients quickly, because she embodies trust and love you want for your dog/cat.”

About: I have worked and been around animals since I was born. I use to work for a reserve rehabilitator and animal shop owner. I have worked with many breeds of cats and dogs and understand each one can be uniquely different. What works for one may not always work for another. I’m retired navy so I have all day to work with your animals. I can do drop ins throughout the day to check on them to let them out or take on a walk. Pretty flexible schedule. In my home I have a 5 year old husky who has been raised around cats and puppies. He is good at helping correct puppies. He has had one litter of his own pups. I do not have a fenced yard, but can take them on leash in the yard and live in a nice neighborhood to walk your animal. If you want crate training I have a couple already here at the house

About: I can take care of dogs and cats at the same time. I love each animals no matter age or size! I am also experienced in potty training dogs. I am available any day with time notice. I have 6 animals of my own that I tend to daily. I am an animal lover!! I take care of all 6 of my animals. I do home cooked meals for one of my dogs and am very experienced with taking care of all 4 of my cats!
About: I’m the type of person that if I see someone handing out free puppies or if I see a lost dog, I’ll be taking them home. I’ve always had such empathy for animals, that on multiple occasions I have done this. For example, last year there was a man handing out free puppies outside of a petco. I almost immediately took him home. The feeling of taking him and giving him a bath, food, and water was so rewarding. I’ve since realized I love working with animals and wish to continue my work. I would absolutely love to help you out with watching your pet while you’re away. I’m currently attending college out of town Tuesday-Thursday but I am available at any time any other day of the week. I’m also available for Masters week In my home, I have one dog of my own, and I have a fenced in yard. My dog loves to swim, so if yours does too I’m happy to watch them while they swim. I’ve had a lot of experience with crates so I’m equipped to handle them. No matter what, I just want your pet to be safe and comfortable while you’re away!

“Grace was patient with our dogs and a lifesaver as we were out for an extended period of time each day. Thanks for the services and thanks for providing comfort in knowing the dogs were being cared for in our absence.”

“Devin is amazing! Our 7 week old puppy was well taken care of during his first week home and I received daily updates while away at work. My husband and I are definitely planning to continue to have Devin help with taking our puppy out during the day while we are at work.”
“When it comes to select a person I usually count on my dog senses and since I needed to choose a dog walker I totally relayed on his preferences. When Paige first met us it was like pure love. They couldn't stop petting and play with each other. So I decided to give it a go and see. After a few walks i am happy with my choice. Paige seems to take good care of my baby in a very responsible way. She is also very accommodating. I would recommend her with no hesitation of any kind.”

“Amazing experience and commitment to both the dog and owner. Very easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to help my dog and me when my dog got sick. Could not recommend Carrie enough for anyone needing a walker or any pet care.”

About: I recently received my Pet Sitter Certification from IAP Career College and have over ten years of experience working professionally with animals. From 2011 until 2013 I entered the pet services industry as a volunteer at the CSRA Humane Society. The Humane Society is the only non-profit no kill shelter in our community. While volunteering, I would visit and play with both the cat and dog residents. My duties at the Human Society consisted of giving tours of the facility, assisting with donations, walking and brushing the cats and dogs, and catching the staff up on washing food and water bowls. From 2013 until 2014, they hired me as a cat caretaker, in which left me in charge of taking care of almost 200 cats at any given time. I left the Humane Society to start pet sitting for friends and family members. I have experience in taking care of a variety of dog and cat breeds. I began doing home visits and drop-ins in 2015 and have since added overnight stays to my list of services. My pet customers love me and I care for them as I care for my own. I have made pet care a full-time job and will book only the number of pets I can see in one day in order to stay on schedule. I am also flexible so that I can meet the needs of my clients. I can be counted on to always be on time which I think is important to keep the pets I serve on their routine. Trust is important and I am very honest and trustworthy. Before working with a pet I like to learn what it is the owner would like for me to do if keeping the pet in his or her own home and the safety precautions I should be aware of. I am also very up front and honest and can be relied on to do the job the way it needs to be done. I also have no problem letting my client know if the ability to work with a pet with special needs or care is outside my scope of knowledge. I ask my clients to keep a list of emergency numbers (such as Veterinarian) when I am on an overnight pet sitting stay. When taking pets for a walk, I always keep a portable water bowl and bottled water with me to keep the pet hydrated while being active. I am not certified in CPR, but my goal is to be certified within the next 3 months.
