“Geraldine and her husband has been amazing with our Nui boy! They have been amazing in watching, caring and loving him while we went on our family trip to Hilo. She kept us up to date on how he was doing every day and took lots of pictures of him which made us so happy that he was enjoying himself. She is great with Nui as he is very anxious and it was his very first time away from us at all. She’s amazing and so much so that we asked for her to watch him for the day so that we could enjoy celebrating a birthday without having to worry about him. We appreciate Geraldine and her hubby for all that they do and we definitely recommend her to everyone! We will definitely keep her in mind should we need services again. Grateful and thankful for the aloha she shares with our Nui boy. Mahalo Nui loa!”

About: With 20 years of dedicated animal care experience, we offer a loving and secure environment for your beloved pets. As the proud mom and owner of a wonderful Golden Retriever, I deeply understand the bond you share with your furry family members. Our experience spans a wide variety of animals, from dogs and cats to birds and fish, ensuring we're comfortable with diverse needs. We treat every animal in our care as if they were our own children, providing the same love, attention, and detailed care. You can rest easy knowing your pet is in trusted hands, as we're the go-to pet sitters for our neighbors, friends, and family. We understand the importance of consistent care, and our family's unique schedule allows us to provide just that! With my flexible full-time hours and my husband's firefighter schedule, someone is almost always home or just a short drive away for potty breaks and playtime. Your pet will enjoy constant companionship and supervision. Our three children (a teen, preteen, and 8-year-old) are also experienced and enthusiastic pet owners! They absolutely adore animals and love to help out, ensuring your furry friend gets extra attention and enrichment throughout the day. Our family-centered approach means your pet will be truly integrated into our loving home. We have one pet of our own, a loving golden retriever. We live in a safe, walkable neighborhood in Columbia County with many other pet owners nearby. We are minutes away from many parks and trails. We walk our dog daily and maintain a pretty consistent exercise and playtime schedule.
About: Growing up, our home was a joyful (and sometimes chaotic!) zoo of dogs, cats, hamsters, turtles, and even the occasional rescue rabbit. My earliest memories are of curling up with our German Shepherd after school, sneaking bits of toast under the table, and learning—through muddy paws and tail wags—that animals aren’t just pets, they’re family. Over the years, I’ve been lucky to care for animals in every stage of life—from bottle-feeding newborn kittens to administering medication to sweet senior dogs with arthritis. I have a soft spot for rescues and shy animals who need a little extra time to trust. I’ve worked with high-energy breeds that thrive with structured walks and stimulation, as well as gentle couch potatoes who just want someone close by to snuggle. What truly sets me apart is my intuition and respect for each animal’s individuality. I don’t treat pet care like a checklist—I listen, observe, and adapt to what your pet needs. Is your dog a slow walker who likes to sniff every blade of grass? We’ll take our time. Do they need mental stimulation? Let’s puzzle it out together. Does your cat demand a very particular style of chin scratch? Challenge accepted. I’m also comfortable with basic training and reinforcing routines around crate time, leash etiquette, and mealtime manners. I pay close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, or energy levels, because I know those subtle shifts matter. I’ve cared for pets with special diets, separation anxiety, allergies, and mobility issues—and I always treat these needs with the seriousness and compassion they deserve. To me, being a great pet sitter isn’t just about showing up on time—it’s about being fully present, fully invested, and truly loving what I do. I’m not just a caregiver—I’m your pet’s new best friend (and maybe their second-favorite human after you!). I work from home and make my own schedule so I build my days around your pets’ routines, not the other way around. I’m available for early morning walks, midday play breaks, or evening check-ins, and I pride myself on being reliable and responsive. Whether it’s a weekend getaway or your 9-to-5, I’m here to give your pet the love and attention they deserve. Whether in your home or mine, I create a safe, loving, and peaceful environment. I follow your instructions closely, keep spaces tidy and pet-friendly, and maintain communication throughout. I never leave pets unsupervised in unsafe situations, and I pay close attention to details—from locked gates to feeding routines. I have a fully-fenced, large yard for playtime and potty breaks, and there is no off-limits furniture for furry family members. My goal is always to make your pet feel secure, seen, and cared for.
