When I came back Hugo’s water and food was always full and the litter clean (even though I never asked her to clean the litter). I don’t trust many people to be in my home while I’m away but Devin was absolutely amazing. If you need help with your pet, I would recommend Devin without hesitation. About: I’ve been dog sitting & cat sitting since I was 17 and have loved it since! I have 1 senior dog, and 2 cats that I couldn’t live without! I’ve been pet-sitting since high school, but have been using it as a side hobby since I’m in college studying social work! About: I have only owned a cat once, but I have had him for 3 years. I got him when he was 6 weeks old so I have plenty of experience with kittens and older cats. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, so caring for them comes very naturally to me. I have years of experience walking dogs in my neighborhood. I’d love the chance to get to know and care for your dogs too! When I was younger I volunteered with the Humane Society and also spent time fostering both dogs and cats whenever I could. About: I have taken care of pets of all kinds since I was 11/12 years old. I have a strong love for fur babies and find it very easy to connect with them. About: Hi! I’m a psychology major at Augusta University and currently work as an RBT supporting autistic children, which has made me patient, attentive, and very comfortable building trust through positive reinforcement. I’ve loved dogs my entire life, especially after owning and training my German Shepherd for 8 years, and I now have a puppy of my own who keeps me enjoying daily walks, park time, and training every day. (For boarding, she would stay with my family so your pet would have my full attention and a calm space.) I especially like working on basic positive reinforcement with treats or a clicker when wanted. I love petting and getting to know every dog I see, so any chance to spend time with dogs is something I genuinely enjoy. I have open availability! Sometimes I may have an appointment or time commitment, but generally I am free throughout the week. I don’t have any scheduling or preference issues with overnight, extended, or evening hours either. I live in a townhome with a fenced patio. The patio has dirt/grass for going potty, a concrete center, and a backdoor that opens to a walking path. I have two floors with the bottom floor being hardwood (accident friendly!). For crate-preferred pets I have a 48in kennel (deep cleaned before and after use), or if crate-averse there is a guest bedroom that would be situated. I bring my own doggy bags and leash, but can use whatever is preferred. If desired I also have Buddy Trainers mini training treats that can be used for positively reinforcing your pet. My default approach is to focus primarily on your pet’s comfort rather than training, with the option of passive training being added into that approach. If boarding, I could take your pet on walks around the very dog-pro community where there are consistently opportunities to socialize, explore, and play in the paths available. Also with boarding my puppy would not share the space and would be at my family’s throughout your pet’s stay. Regardless of whether your pet is boarding at my home or if sitting at your’s, I have no problem deep (and properly) cleaning any accidents that come up. My approach with all pets, especially dogs, is positive reinforcement through doing things they enjoy. I try to set your pet up for success by matching their energy and minimizing any reason to feel anxious, sized up, or uncomfortable in general.
