Please understand that when you send me a request, I have to turn down other potential clients while I wait for you to confirm. Thanks in advance for being a considerate neighbor and human. I had dogs all through childhood and college, and miss having a four-legged friend around! Sadly, my own work travel schedule prevents me from having a doggo of my own right now, so I thought that it would be a good compromise to lend a hand to other frequent flyers who love their pup too much to put them in the kennel. Rest assured that your dog will not get just a 15-minute lap around the block to pee, I'll take him or her to the dog park, on a hike, or if your pup is more low-key, I'll totally snuggle on the couch. My pet ownership experience is mostly with big dogs (sheperds), so that's definitely my soft spot, but I've taken care of all breeds and sizes through volunteering as a foster with a rescue group in my former home of Washington, DC. I have a reliable car, so it's easy for me to get to your place to check in a couple of times a day. I work from home, so I am pretty flexible. I do live with a sassy cat, but we live in a big duplex where pets can be separated if needed. I will strive to stick to your pet's usual routine whether I am sitting at your home or boarding in my own home. They are already missing their humans, and maintaining their routine gives them one less thing to be anxious about.

About: Hello, I have taken care of all kinds of animals since I was very young. I have taken care of roosters, chickens, ducks, rabbits, dogs, kittens, goats. I really like playing with animals and entertaining them. I like taking them for walks and bathing them. I started working as an animal caregiver at the age of 20 with neighbors, friends, and family. I believe that animals are very intelligent and full of love. I just arrived in the country and I am looking for a job that I can do part-time and be able to study. I am also looking to do what I love and am passionate about, which is taking care of pets, being able to walk them and take care of them, giving them everything they need, which is love and care. I have a park near my house where I can play with your doggy baby. I also have many toys and ideas in my house to do with them.

About: I grew up on my grandmother's farm caring for dogs cats and horses. I've done it all from making special meals for pets to changing horseshoes on the farm. I'm a tattoo artist and have mornings open and 3 days off Monday-Wednesday my schedule is very much what I make it and I can make special accommodations if needed! About: I’ve had dogs and cats since I was a child always responsible for feeding, grooming, and walking. I love pets and would dog sit for my family and friends. I adopted my own cat my first year of grad school and have never looked back Im currently working part time as I apply for jobs after graduating medical school! About: I grew up on a farm with all kinds of animals and with dogs my whole life! Friends always ask me to watch their dogs because they know how much I love to! I have done a variety of services on Rover over the past few years. I will soon graduate from PA school and will have many months before I start my job. About: I recently lost both of my dogs and while I'm not ready for a new dog, I'd love to take care of yours. I'm very active and love taking walks. I cared for my own very senior dog for several years. I work 10-6 Monday through Friday. I can walk morning and evenings and if required I'm close to my job to stop home mid day. When fostering with an off transport rescue you rarely know what to expect and Ashley has shown that she can care for many types of dogs of varying temperaments. The most memorable was very anxious and mouthy beagle who was later put on Prozac to help with her temperament and behavior. Ashley fostered Tallulah until she was adopted to later be returned multiple times because people just couldn't deal with the challenge that Ashley was. If I had a personal dog i would not only trust Ashley with its care but not worry because I know she would do anything she could to assure it's comfort and care.”
