“Becky is dependable and reliable. She had no problem coming into my home to take care of my 3 very different dogs with very different needs. She shared many pictures of her visit which was great to see while I was away. Definitely booking Becky for my next trip!”
“We (humans and pups alike) love Debbi!! She is experienced, trustworthy, kind, and caring. She goes above and beyond to love on our collies - we have a younger and older one, and she is so helpful!”

“Mary has checked in on my two cats a few times now. She seems to be great with them based on the cute pictures I get! She’s been available, even on short notice, and very reliable.”

“Nicole was great! Very thorough on her notes following a visit. Great pictures of my pooch. Always arrived on time. And really treated my pooch with lots of love! Thank you, Nicole”

“Kayla was on time and had great communication! She spent ample time making sure Quinn did his business, and gave him plenty of attention and belly rubs! We got some adorable pictures updates as well”

“Wonderful sitter! Took extra care to spend time with our pets to make sure they weren't alone & provided us with updates. We'll absolutely be thrilled to work with Paul again for future trips.”
“Seamless experience with Madeline! Our cats were well taken care of while we were away. She also sent us tons of photos which was a plus. Highly recommend her to take care of your fur babies while you are gone :)”

“I have used Michelle a number of times to take care of my cat Lola while I’m on vacation. Michelle does a fantastic job of getting to know the cat routine and likes in order for the cat to feel less stress about their owner being away. She also communicates well if she sees any changes or concerns I would highly recommend Michelle to watch anyone’s cat while they were away.”

About: I am a true animal lover. Since I was a child, I have always loved all animals no matter what size. I have a lot of experience with working with dogs of all ages and sizes. I have some experience working with cats of all ages as well. I am currently pursing my Associates Degree for interior design online through MATC which allows for me to be more present with your pets. I currently work part time at the North Shore Elite in Glendale, so my schedule is very flexible. I have cared for pets in many different ways from dogs staying at my house, me staying with the dog in the owner's home, or switching between my house and the owner's home as needed. Whatever you need for your pet, I am willing to do!
“Kristina took care of our shy cat for the first time this past weekend. It's not easy to care for an animal that would rather hide from you than interact, and Kristina dealt with her well. She was friendly, came over when promised, and cared for Sophie and our house well.”

“Yolanda was amazing with our three high energy dogs! When we first met her and her husband, we could tell right away they were great people and our dogs took right to them. Even our dog that is sometimes shy around new people seemed completely at ease with them. She was available on short notice and took lots of great photos of the first visit. Our dogs looked very happy and relaxed. We would definitely recommend Yolanda!”

“As always, we had a wonderful experience leaving our fur babies with Aidan! Very communicative, attentive to our pets needs, and goes above and beyond to make us feel comfortable while we are away.”

“Dyana is the person we regularly contact to look in our dogs when we are gone for the day. She is always reliable and trustworthy. We're so glad to have someone we feel comfortable with! ”

About: I have had dogs my entire life growing up and have raised my dog Rocky since he was a two months old and he is 14 years old now. I have a passion for animals, especially dogs. I enjoy taking my dog to Virmond Park to hang out and check the scenery and walk around the park. I walk my dog two times a day and take him to the park once a day (weather permitting). I started as a sitter with Rover in September 2016, but have plenty of experience caring for dogs for friends and family members and have enjoyed every minute of it. I'm looking to make this more of a “full time job" so I am willing to do whatever is necessary to help you out with your furry friend. I am pretty flexible to adjust based on your dogs needs. *Prices are negotiable depending on the circumstance I’m currently available to help out with taking your animals on walks, checking in on them, feeding, etc. virtually any time! I am super flexible, so feel free to message me! I have a very friendly senior dog at home to keep your fur baby company! I have a crate if needed. I don’t have a fenced yard so whenever we’re outside, I’ll make sure the dogs are leashed so nothing bad happens. If you need me to house sit at your home, just let me know how you do things and I’d be happy to follow instructions to make sure your furry child has a great experience! I am looking to make this more of a full-time job, so I will be able to help out and play with your fur babies when you need me to. I will let your dog(s) out to to go potty every two hours or will accommodate whichever schedule you have them on. If I host your dog, I do have a dog of my own and he’s very friendly and I’m sure they’ll get along well. If I’m house & pet sitting in your home, I will do whatever is necessary to keep the pets on their regular schedule (food, potty, walks, etc.).
About: I have worked with all animals, from dogs and cats, to rats, turtles, hamsters, rabbits and fish! I have worked at a Humane Society, and love volunteering my time to work with animals. I have experience administering medication, as well as working with animals that have a bit of an attitude. I enjoy training dogs, and sitting on the coach and watching a movie together! I am able to commit most of my time to petsitting! I do not board in my home, but I have a reliable car that allows me to travel and spend the night in your home. That means less stress on your furry companions! While I do not provide care in my home, I prefer to meet families and their animals in advance so that we are able to discuss the little things about your animals. I love getting to know their quirks, and the best way to do that is talking to owners. I enjoy long walks with the dogs, and snuggling with cats and other animals!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Mequon
Debbie was such a wonderful cat sitter, it made leaving our two cats so much easier knowing they were in good hands! Before our trip she visited and asked many great questions and took detailed notes. Every visit she sent multiple photos and provided notes on how the cats were doing. I would highly recommend Debbie to anyone looking for someone to not just feed their animals, but to truly care for them!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
