Since I was a child, I have always had a pet in my home. Years ago, I worked as a receptionist and vet assistant caring for both dogs and cats. Currently, I am a stay-at-home mom and have two cats. My friends and neighbors frequently ask me to care for their fur babies. They have relied on me to feed, walk, give pill medications, clean litter boxes, play and spend the weekend with their pets. About: I've been around dogs my whole life. I grew up with golden retrievers, and in my high school years a husky/lab and jack russell/cattle dog mix. I have a dog myself now as an adult; she's a border collie and jack russell mix named Nala. I am happy to help other pet owners as my schedule allows! I am also open to cats. I work full time 7:30 am - 4:30 pm. I have some availabilitya after work, and on weekends. Feel free to send me a message if you have any questions or are interested! Pet care is a large part of my routine! My mornings start off with taking Nala potty and feeding her, and making sure she's good to go before I leave for work. My evenings are making sure she's gotten exercise and play time, potty, dinner and snuggles. I am happy to walk or let out your pup, or provide overnight care if able! Follow any instructions left in regards to treats, kenneling, commands, etc.

About: I grew up with dogs since I was a kid- everything from German Shepherds and Great Danes to chihuahuas! While I don't have any formal training or education, I have always been around animals and learned a lot through personal experience. My husband and I rescued our five year old chihuahua from a rescue agency in West Virginia and it was one of the best decisions we have ever made. It taught me a lot about the dedication, love, and patience it requires to make a rescue feel safe and comfortable. She is currently the only pet I have, but my family also has two chihuahuas so it's always fun to get them all together! I also have experience taking care of sick/elderly dogs. I lost my soul dog last year who suffered from heart failure and required nearly 24/7 care. I am a registered nurse with a background in cardiology, so it really hit home for me. Anyone that knows me knows my unwavering love for animals, especially dogs! I am currently taking a small hiatus from my nursing career so my availability is open at the moment. I am available on weekdays or weekends. Afternoons are preferred, but I don't have a set strict schedule and can be pretty flexible. I recently moved into a house where my dog finally has her first own backyard which has been such a joy to watch! I love basking outside in the sun with her and never leave her unattended. Around the house, she has plenty of spaces to cozy up and make her own. Whether it's walking in the neighborhood or staying around the house, I am always on high alert and aware of my surroundings. The same thing would apply for anyone else's pet whether it's in my home or the comfort of their own.
